  • Good, but not great

by RunChi on 12/4/17The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 3 out of 5

Kinda funny. Kinda. 40% hilarious, 60% meh. No warmup act and we were seated super-late, so this didn’t help Nick’s case with the audience.

  • Funnier than I expected!!

by chibrooke on 12/4/17The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 4 out of 5

I love Nick Offerman but had never seen his stand up I was unsure what to expect. It was hysterical!! I highly recommend.

  • Nice guy, Bad show

    by SB1YaYa on 12/4/17The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 2 out of 5

I read a professional reviewer’s commentary and couldn’t agree more. He is a really nice, interesting guy, but he’s not a comic. This show is not really entertaining, unless you are a super fan of Parks and Rec, and are just THAT interested in seeing the guy who plays Ron Swanson. A decent number of people left early at the Chicago event.

  • Disappointing and Not Funny!

    by danvan123 on 12/2/17Chicago Theater - ChicagoRating: 1 out of 5

Very disappointed in this performance. I thought we were going to a standup comedy routine and what we got was a boring rehash of progressive left wing politics. I could even forgive that if it was funny. And it was not. I was definitely bored and asking myself why did I pay to see this. Save your money if you want to see stand up comedy. This is not it. You're better off watching MSNBC. And you'll save a ton of money!

  • Good.

Great venue and a thoroughly satisfying night of frivolity and melodic whimsy.

  • Nick Offerman: The man, the myth, the legend!

    by STthieme08 on 11/21/17Taft Theatre - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

Nick is unforgettably entertaining! He really put on a good show and was on stage for the full two hours. I would absolutely recommend going to see Nick Offerman if you are even thinking about it! Best money I've spent in a long time!

  • Nick Offerman, not funny, surely not Ron Swanson

    by Scar59 on 11/21/17Louisville Palace - LouisvilleRating: 1 out of 5

Not very funny, offended folks in the audience. People walked out quietly. TMI regarding his marriage/ sex life. Where was Ron Swanson? I know , “he’s not Ron Swanson”. Sacrilegious point of view did not sit well with conservative point of view. I won’t get those two hours back.

  • Disappointed

    by 502Girl on 11/21/17Louisville Palace - LouisvilleRating: 2 out of 5

I got a few chuckles, but they weren't worth the ticket price. I didn't pay to hear his political opinions. He even said in the beginning that he wasn't going to bring that into performance that night. He lied. I wanted Ron Swanson but I got Nick Offerman. The best part was a guy screaming that Nick was part of the Illuminati because he mentioned the freemasons.

  • Nick was great

by Brokenknee on 11/21/17Taft Theatre - CincinnatiRating: 4 out of 5

Great performance, only thing that could have been better was a different location, seats were too tight for average adults, sore knees.

  • Nick was awesome!

    by libby1118 on 11/21/17Taft Theatre - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

Nick makes sure you know he is not Ron Swanson, which most people understand and appreciate. On the other hand if you didn’t watch parks and rec you won’t understand about half his show or won’t be as funny. I thought he was a GREAT performer! Definitely one of the best comedic performances I’ve been to. He gave a 2 hour performance with songs that were hilarious!

  • Smart, hilarious-a must see!

    by Amberm0122 on 11/21/17Taft Theatre - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

I read a ton of negative reviews, but was optimistic because I think Nick is so great. I was not disappointed. He spoke, told stories, sang and made me think and laugh for almost two straight hours. If you’re a true fan, and you align or at least understand his viewpoints, you’ll be happy!

  • It was OK

by JaredMcc on 11/20/17Louisville Palace - LouisvilleRating: 4 out of 5

Not very funny, a lot of songs that were just OK but not that funny, some good life advice, but didn't really find a funny way to deliver it. He uses some occasional crude language, but it seems like he just did that to buy some laughs. Overall, his show jumped a lot on topics but he felt like it all tied together in this "Full Bush" idea, or at least tried to pretend like they all tied together in that theme but that felt forced. Just talk about what you want to talk about, don't pretend it all ties together. It was OK and somewhat entertaining, but I wouldn't go again to take a friend or really recommend. It probably would be better if he promoted it as a lecture or life advice type of show, leave out the crude language for more witty or creative ways to talk about the subjects he wants to cover. Just saying the F-word doesn't make something funny. It can when used right, and he did in one particular line about people who brought their kids with them (none did, but the joke was funny), but otherwise not funny.

  • Nick Offerman is Hilarious and Lovable

by Derreck on 11/20/17Uptown Theater - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

Nick Offerman came on stage, without an opening act, and talked for almost two solid hours. He had various bits, stories, jokes, he even replied to the audience when people blurted out random thoughts. I've seen a lot of stand-up and most, even the old HBO specials, run around an hour. Overall, the routine is great. It's hilarious across the board. I love the way he talks about himself and his wife. He's a no-nonsense guy and it's just a ton of fun.

  • Nick Offerman was righteous

by Fwenchie on 11/19/17Uptown Theater - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

Although some people won't dig the truths Nick speaks (semi anti social media/ anti establishment, etc), I found him to be eloquent and adorable. That little yuk that he gives after his jokes b/c he tickles his own funny bone was killer. I dig his laid back cadence, and balls to the wall method of communication. Loved this event! It was delightful getting to know his temperament and ideals on a more intimate level.

  • Would Rather Sit in an ER for Two Hours

by parkerfamily on 11/19/17Uptown Theater - Kansas CityRating: 1 out of 5

Disappointed, to say the least. His"PG-13" show was a little too juvenile for my taste and in a crude way. I advise to drink heavily before seeing his show, seemed like those who did enjoyed themselves. Couple beers didn't dumb my humor down enough to find him funny or relatable.

  • It was great

    by RockyBalboa1986 on 11/19/17Uptown Theater - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

He was hilarious and the theater he was good. No matter where you sat, it was a good seat.

  • Nick Offerman is crude!

by Anonymous on 11/15/17Shea's Performing Arts Center - BuffaloRating: 1 out of 5

Horrible opener. Nick Offerman was Crude and unfunny!

  • Nick Offerman -not as funny as I thought

by danelle77 on 11/15/17Shea's Performing Arts Center - BuffaloRating: 3 out of 5

He shaved his beard. UGH.The opening act was horrible !singing and accordian playing- not funny at all! I love the character Mr. Offerman plays on TV,(he has writers for that) but did not enjoy this show for the most part. Some funny moments, but he is not a comedian. Just his delivery is funny. The seats are super cramped, no leg space at all, I'm only 5 ft, can't imagine how uncomfortable a tall person would be. Total waste of my money for the show and this venue charges ridiculous fees on top of that too.

  • Worst Comedian Ever

    by nola123 on 11/14/17Beacon Theatre - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5

Not only was Nick Offerman not funny in the least, he was incredibly boring and full of himself. My boyfriend and I could not believe we paid to watch this. Attending comedy shows is one of my favorite things to do and I've never seen anything this bad.

  • Not American Ham

    by Ideal50 on 11/13/17Warner Theatre - WashingtonRating: 2 out of 5

We love Nick Offerman and American Ham was so good that it made us want to see him live. The themes are mostly the same- his awesome wife, his beliefs in equality, the weirdness of the bible, etc. Unfortunately, the well-written and super hilarious jokes from American Ham was not what we saw. Instead it was more like a never-ending stream of consciousness, mildly funny jokes, and stories that went nowhere. We sat in the orchestra and several people left and did not come back. I really wanted to like it but it is just not there- he mentioned that on Parks & Recs- the writers made his job very easy. I am wondering if American Ham also benefited from these so-called writers and now Nick is left to write his own jokes. The opener guy was weird too, but his heavy metal rendition of hava nigila was probably the best part of the night.
