  • Disappointing

by Nearandfar on 12/11/17Murat Theatre at Old National Centre - IndianapolisRating: 4 out of 5

Overall the show was very disappointing. There were 6 of us that went and we all felt the same. Nobody really laughed much at all. I saw a show the following night, and I laughed way more in the 10 minute opening act than I did through Nick's entire show.

  • Amazing from start to finish.

by nemplscarpenter on 12/11/17State Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

Unlike any standup I have ever been to. Casually walking out with no opener to a packed theatre. Not telling loaded lines to smash down with a punch line. Just talking as if he had invited you over to have a drink with him. It was hilarious, heartwarming yet a little raunchy. Will be going to see him again when he comes back through town.

  • Offerman was great

    by DLBH34 on 12/10/17State Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

Extremely enjoyable night, he was funny and witty. Offerman was on stage for over 2 hours. It was so endearing to hear a hollywood someone speak so honestly and lovingly about their spouse. And, his songs were hilarious!

  • Meh, not what I expected

    by sobeit27 on 12/10/17State Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 2 out of 5

He was very long winded at times, rarely funny. We ended up leaving early. I don’t enjoying a singing comedian, I wasn’t expecting that from Nick Offerman. It seemed he was trying to parent. At one point it felt like an 8th grade sex edu class. You could tell a lot of people were getting restless, coming and going from their seats and also leaving early.

  • Thought it was comedy?

    by Scsu74 on 12/10/17State Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

Very preachy, went into long random songs that weren't very funny. Was expecting more Ron Swanson type humor. The show started that way and then basically turned into bashing the Bible and Republican's.

  • Eh

by Hobbyfarmerguy on 12/10/17State Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 3 out of 5

There were parts that were funny, but the show had the same lay out and topics had American Ham did, just not as funny. He also makes it clear that he is over "Rob Swanson". Glad I went but wouldn't go again.

  • Typical Hollywood

by Cattymann on 12/10/17State Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 2 out of 5

Show was way too long and only chuckled a few times. Typical Hollywood, he couldn’t resist pushing his politics. That pretty much tuned me out for the remaining 2 hours. Wouldn’t go back to see him or recommend as he’s way over rated live.

  • Disappointed

    by musicfan33 on 12/10/17State Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 1 out of 5

I should have done more research before buying the tickets. This really wasn't a comedy show, more of a monologue with a few, too few, funny pieces thrown in. He did not realize where he was or who his audience was, kept referring to being on campus and us being students. He wasn't and we weren't. Spent way too much time bashing organized religion and its followers. It will be hard to watch parks and rec now.

  • Nick is not Ron

by StPaulConservative on 12/10/17State Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

So we watch Parks and Rec a lot and love Ron Swanson. Nick Offer an is the exact opposite in every way. He is not a comedian but more of a story teller. He tells of how Christianity is a myth and republicans are idiots. Many people walked out of this show last Thursday. I should have but continually gave him more chances. Don't expect a comedian. Expect to here 2hrs of his opinions on politics and religion. Very dissapointing.

  • so bad

    by prettypolly9 on 12/6/17The Wilbur - BostonRating: 1 out of 5

I don't understand why people would think this guy is funny. We left early. Seemed more like a seminar for how to be a good husband than stand up comedy.

  • Full Bush promised and delivered!

by RevolvingSoul on 12/5/17The Wilbur - BostonRating: 4 out of 5

My boyfriend and I made the trip from Hartford because we could not pass up the chance to see Nick Offerman live this time around. His show far exceeded all expectations, making the trip for two long time fans well worthwhile. This was our first time seeing anything at The Wilbur. The venue is beautiful, and even from the mezzanine we could see the stage perfectly. However, being two tall individuals, the incredibly tight fit of the seats were less than comfortable. That would be the only complaint of the entire evening.

  • Nick Offerman so hilarious!

So so funny, and raunchy too! But so worth seeing!!

  • Had a great time!

    by HuffPuff87 on 12/4/17The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

The Chicago Theatre is an absolutely breathtaking venue and Nick put on a great show! I was pleasantly surprised by his musical performances and overall it was a pretty funny set.

  • Not Too Funny

    by TheDawg1337 on 12/4/17The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

This was the only show I’ve been to at the Chicago Theater where people actually left towards the beginning of the show. Overall he got some laughs but it was disappointing.

  • by Anonymous on 12/4/17The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 3 out of 5

The show was good, but started over 40 minutes late. Not sure if it was the Full Bush Tour that messed up or the venue, but it definitely made the experience way less fun.

  • Definitely worth the money

by AllieC on 12/4/17The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

I took my boyfriend to see this show for his Christmas gift, and it was great. I would absolutely go to another one of Nick’s shows, although this venue wasn’t the best. Really, the worst part of it was the twenty people that kept getting up and coming back every few minutes and blocking our view of the stage.

  • Nick Offerman was a great time!

by BSuds on 12/4/17The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 3 out of 5

Overall, I loved Nick Offerman. The show kept my attention the whole time, and I was laughing consistently. He knows how to work a crowd, and also keep them in line. The only issue I had is that the show "started" at 9:30. We got in line at 9 and it was wrapped around the block. Once we got in finally around 9:50, we quickly used the restroom and grabbed a drink and made it to our seats about 1 min after he started. It was pretty ridiculous they didn't wait for everyone to get to their seats before starting, especially since it was their fault everyone was let in so late. I would go to Nick Offerman again, but probably not at this venue.

  • Enjoyable but uneven

by Chironson on 12/4/17The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 4 out of 5

Due to the filming for a televised special the show opened 20 minutes late. Offerman spent ten minutes at the start talking about how the university brass at the venue wanted him to go PG 13 when the show was not at a facility associated with a university. The following fifteen to twenty minutes were consumed with providing evidence that the show was not PG 13. The raunch was average. Offerman's comedy sense shined for the remainder of the program as he lampooned the current state of society. His jokes and songs were pithy and clever poking fun at multiple generational stereotypes. He self-defacing ode to distance himself from his famous character was spot on. Overall an enjoyable second half that offset the late, awkward start.

  • First Comedy Show

Even though it started nearly 45 minutes late my husband and I had a blast! The theater is so pretty and Nick was hilarious! No surprise there! Can’t wait to go to another comedy show!
