Maybe on T.V., but not paying for a ticket.

by Arizona480 on 11/27/13Talking Stick Resort - Scottsdale

I guess I'm too old for the MTV humor, but I tend to like more humor geared at everyday life like a Jerry Seinfeld. There were some good moments, but not enough to justify $50.00 a ticket.

    Nick Kroll is hilarious

by Peter81 on 11/26/13Talking Stick Resort - Scottsdale

Nick Kroll is even funnier in person and kept us laughing throughout the entire show. Worth the wait and worth every penny.

Nick Kroll was hilarious and a good sport about everyone constantly yelling out references from "The League"......I was guilty of it a few times myself :)

    Funny

by GoodClaire on 11/22/13Palace of Fine Arts - San Francisco

Opening act was good but could have been shorter. Nick Kroll's act was a bit thin on content, he relied on audience members to shout out names of cities, then says something funny about them...most of the time. Otherwise, it's back to the kind of sex/bathroom humor we know from "The League". But his own show! That's a lot better! He is promoting his new season of "The Kroll Show". Good.

Nick Kroll was hilarious, and the venue was perfect. Couldn't have been more pleased with the entire event.

    Alright

by Yogetter on 12/4/12Sixth & I Historic Synagogue - Washington

I love The League and I imagine Nick Kroll to be a funny guy. His stand up though just wasn't cutting it for me. Other people definitely laughed a lot, but I'd say it was half-and-half. He seems kind of snotty and he told one of the girls in the audience to "Shut the F up, you're annoying me." Some people laughed but it was generally uncomfortable to do that to a fan. I don't know, he just wasn't as funny. He also showed a five-ten minute video of his new show on Comedy Central--shameless promo. The video also wasn't that good, most of the audience didn't laugh and Nick knew it. And that's when he started saying stuff to that girl in the audience (who by all fairness, wasn't causing trouble but was answering the questions he was asking the audience to answer). I think the only reason why I felt I hadn't wasted my money was because the comedian who introduced Nick was hilarious--I'd pay to see the intro guy again.

What a great venue for comedy - very small, so everybody is up close. Nick Kroll and his opener were hilarious - by the end, my face hurt from smiling/laughing so much.

    Extremely Funny

    by CC2409 on 12/2/12Wilbur Theatre - Boston

I wasn't sure what to expect, and actually read some of the other reviews on here first and found some mixed reviews. However, Nick Kroll was hilarious! He was a pro on stage and interacted with the audience. His routine was a mixture of politically incorrect jokes, drug-related jokes, and funny observations. To address previous comments about drug-related jokes... I mean, he's a comedian- most of them use/make drug jokes. I didn't feel like it was over done at all. If you like The League and that type of humor, you'll regret not seeing Kroll live.

I'm always nervous seeing a comedian live when I like a character they play on t.v. I'm always afraid that their shows writers are more funny than their standup. After seeing Daniel Tosh last year I was almost put off by stand up completely until... Nick Kroll made me almost pee my pants. I was far from disappointed. He is a funny bastard on and off the screen and I hope to be seeing more of him.

    Nick Kroll

by Anonymous on 11/30/12Wilbur Theatre - Boston

As always, Nick put on a great show. Compared to his previous shows this one did drag a bit in the middle but he ended strong.

Definitely not as funny as The League!

    by FunnyGuy3247829374298 on 11/30/12Wilbur Theatre - Boston

His opening act was decent, although it started 20 minutes late. Nick was not nearly as funny as I would have hoped and he pitched his stupid new show that is coming out in the middle of his act, which ruined whatever flow he may have had going. Wouldn't see him again.

Nick Kroll was hilarious! He showed a preview of his new CC show, but I kinda thought this was a bit of a cop-out. I enjoyed his stand-up way more, but the show looks somewhat funny. He does good impressions and he was interactive with the audience. I was crying I was laughing so hard at the College Stand-up bit and the Bacon bit and even his retelling of a European crime. Enjoy!!!!!

    Nick Kroll was pretty good

    by Unknown02152 on 11/30/12Wilbur Theatre - Boston

We didn't really think the guy who opened was funny at all (Nick something) but Nick Kroll was good. The first half of his set was awesome and then it tapered off.

    Funny Guy

by MeliBos on 11/30/12Wilbur Theatre - Boston

Not a ton of League jokes, he was pitching his new comedy central show for January which looks pretty funny. Jokes were good. Boston can sometimes be a tough crowd to please. He did well. I was glad I went.
