John Mulaney incredibly funny! Nick Kroll.....eh

    by 4GirlsWeekend on 4/21/15Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

To the point, John Mulaney was extremely funny, everyone loved his sense of humor. He was just naturally funny. Unfortunately the show started with Nick Kroll. All any of us could say, he was just bad. John Mulaney would get 5 stars and Nick maybe 1.

Mulaney Good, Kroll not so much

by ChipMoDip on 4/21/15Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

I am a huge John Mulaney stand-up and he definitely delivered tonight. Every joke was funny and he was non-stop the entire set. Kroll was just okay. A lot of basic jokes with too easy of punchlines. I love Kroll's skits and acting, but his stand-up was just average this night.

    Kroll Is Cool

by dbudd1213 on 12/17/13The Space At Westbury - Westbury

Was a little skeptical of seeing Nick Kroll do standup, since I was only familiar with him from The League and a few cameo appearances on other shows. Knew he had Kroll Show but never watched it before. I may give it a try after seeing him live. He was definitely funny. I haven't laughed that hard at a standup event in a while.

    Nick Kroll is hilarious!

by Tom1990 on 12/17/13The Space At Westbury - Westbury

It was a great show, despite the snow storm it seemed like everyone made it to the show and Kroll was very appreciative. He had a hilarious opener and then showed a sneak peak into season 2 of Kroll show. After that he got into his routine and had a lot of interaction with the audience. He had me in tears from laughing so hard for the majority of the show! He was a really great act and had the audience rolling the whole time.

    Nick Kroll was top notch

by Krollfish on 12/10/13Civic Theatre - New Orleans

Mr. Kroll's performance was exactly like I expected it to be...awesome. What a great stand up artist. He interacts with the crowd alot taking Q&A which shows he is not limited to just his set.

    Nick Kroll is Hilarious

by GoldDustWoman22 on 12/10/13Civic Theatre - New Orleans

We had a great time at this show. Nick Kroll was consistently funny and not nearly as foul as I thought he might be. He really knows how to entertain the crowd.

    Nick Kroll was hilarious!

by thunkboy on 12/9/13House of Blues Houston - Houston

I was really not expecting him to be so funny in person. I find Kroll Show hilarious but I watched his special where he performed as all his different characters and I honestly did not find it that funny. I was blown away at the show though. He was so funny, I feel like most of it was just him improvising which is really impressive to be able to do that in front of a bunch of people and still make everyone laugh super hard. He did some of his Kroll Show characters which were really funny, I find his European character the best and would love to see more of it in Season 2. We definitely got our moneys worth on the tickets too, I went to see Anthony Jeselnik and feel like I got ripped off cause he performed for like 30 minutes. Nick Kroll performed way longer than I expected him to, which was a great thing. I would say he performed for a good hour and a half if not longer. Would love to do it again.

    Funny and Witty

by TXBill on 12/9/13House of Blues Houston - Houston

Nick is one of the rare comics that can do a show without the feeling that all the material is canned (although there was some reused material towards the end). His humor is very witty and he keeps you engaged. I hope he continues to work on new material and comes around more often. Would pay to see him again.

    Full of Laughs

by EFTho on 12/9/13House of Blues Houston - Houston

Kroll's comedy was very topical and current, incorporating local sports events that happened the same week. It made you feel like he cared to be there and wanted to make a great impression. Bottom line - hilarious.

    Hilarious show!

by Duncan2013 on 12/9/13House of Blues Houston - Houston

He does a mix of skits and stand up material. He interacts a lot with the audience which makes it that much funnier. I would definitely see him and again and recommend his show to everyone.
