    Nick JR

    by a.annemarie on 1/29/20State Theatre - Minneapolis

Parking was super easy. Getting into the theater was also a breeze. Once you got in it was hectic. I get it, a ton of excited kids. There were two places to get snack and drinks and only one person working each window. That made for a very long wait time. And with a 3 year old it made 15 minutes seem like two hours. There’s not a bad seat in the place so that was nice.

The show was too short for the price. I thought at least two hours, although it was 45mins with a 15min break. My granddaughter seemed to have liked it due to it was her birthday and she had her grandparents to herself😄 I think maybe having a character interacting during break for photos would have been nice?

    Disappointed

    by n. h. on 1/18/20Stifel Theatre - St. Louis

The show it self was mediocre at best. The search lines took forever. The lines for merchandise and food were insanely long causing you to miss parts of the show. Extra booths or people walking around selling as with most shows would be highly recommended. We paid for parking and the instructions were confusing that led you to the garage and the one that it appreared to be was markes cash only $10. Then we tried to valet as to bot be late (lising money already paid), no attendants available at valet entrance. We had to park 6 blocks awat with the kids. All in all very disappointing especially for the amount of money spent.

    Great Show

My two year old and 4 year old loved it. I loved how interactive the characters were with the audience!!

    Fun for the kids

    by M. C. on 1/15/20Stifel Theatre - St. Louis

Overall, my 3 year old daughter enjoyed the show and liked seeing her friends on stage. Although, her and a lot of the other kids weren't really up and participating except for when Dora was teaching the finale song. Maybe there is more opportunity for audience interaction. She would have also loved to see more of the Paw Patrol. Loved that Josh made an appearance on video. As an adult, I thought the production quality was a little low. Who was the blonde girl throughout the first 1/2 of the show? Shimmer and Shine were also off.

    Under par

    by C. G. on 1/15/20Stifel Theatre - St. Louis

This could have been done much better from the costumes to the snacks. I took my 3 year old grandson to see this he wasn’t even excited to get into it until the second half for dancing and that was with some coaching. He has had more fun with the Disney on ice functions. We know they always up charge the snacks but if you are going to do that make sure your supply is superior and not cheap. I had to have my lemonade bottle replaced twice because the first time there was a crack somewhere and it was leaking and the second time the straw wasn’t working properly. As far as the costumes they could have had life size costumes it looked real tacky with the staff dancing behind the puppets. It would have been better just putting them in costumes and making seem more realistic. Just my opinion.

    This was a Zahra-Mazing Show!

by Louis on 1/15/20Stifel Theatre - St. Louis

I really enjoy watching Shimmer and Shine on Amazon and have also enjoyed Bubble Guppies, Paw Patrol, Blues Clues, Dora the Explorer and even Blaze and the Monster Machines in the past therefore I felt like this was a great collaboration. The show was very lively and interaction, fun for not only kids but maybe even some adults too. The duration of the show was also not too long or too short. I even ended up buying something from the merchandise table which is not something that I usually do. These are only a few reasons why I recommend Nick Jr. Live to any Nick Jr. fans out there.

    3 year old enjoyed

by CheChe on 1/14/20Stifel Theatre - St. Louis

My 3 year old enjoyed the show. Everything was great...except for BLAZE. That part was terrible. The group was never together and just made the entire act unenjoyable. All other characters did a wonderful job!

The kids had a GREAT time!! They got to get up and dance!

by Nan on 1/14/20Stifel Theatre - St. Louis

We arrived and got our picture taken which was pretty awesome! It was two siblings and their cousin raging in age from 3 yrs to 8 yrs. old. Found our seats and as soon as the curtains opened they got the kids involved in the show by questions they asked and the actors showed such a lot of energy. At intermission we got our souvinrs at a drink and were they were READY for the act II. They were laughing and HAPPY the entire show. They learned a dance routine.. and the 8 year old loved that and the other two were happy to see Chase and Blaze!! We made a wonderful memory.

    Just OK

by KJ78 on 1/14/20Stifel Theatre - St. Louis

Stifel is a nice theatre, but the parking is always a nightmare because St. Louis has parking rules and no signs posted. So, you take a chance with that, especially in the evening, but Metrolink is always an option (stay vigilant while you are riding). The show was cheaply produced. I paid a lot of money for these tickets, and the show was not nearly as good as the Disney show I went to in December.

    Kids really enjoyed it

by cow147 on 1/14/20Stifel Theatre - St. Louis

We took a 2.5 yr old and a 7 yr old (he came by default because I was sick and could not make it) and the two of them enjoyed this immensely. We were concerned at first that the younger grandchild might get bored or restless but that was not the case. She was mesmerized by the whole thing. We purposely got aisle seats so she was able to get up and dance. My husband said he thought the music was fun and very engaging. The 7 yr also had fun and it wasn't too "young" for him. Overall it was a fun afternoon and a good way to introduce the youngest grandchild to a "theater" event. Would do this again if the opportunity arose with a young grandchild. We bought tickets on the first day tickets were released and probably will wait longer next time because ticket prices closer to the day of the event was dramatically decreased in price (I know, its based on supply and demand... demand was not great and supply was). The only reason I checked was because I kept getting emails from Ticketmaster about purchasing tickets for the show even though I had already bought tickets. Curiosity got the best of me.

    Pretty good.

by R. on 1/9/20Old National Centre - Indianapolis

Characters were well costumed, knew their routines. Shimmer and Shine could use a little work on coordination. Lady who played Dora was wonderful at meet and greet. Excellent with very young children. There could have been more characters present for meet and greet. Only Dora and Rubble were present.

Kid Loved it, not worth money, though!

by L. on 1/8/20Old National Centre - Indianapolis

We believe in paying for family experiences so we frequent these types of shows. This, however, was our first Nick Jr. experience. Our 4-year-old loved it but as parents, this was the worst show we have ever seen. The merchandise was expensive and poor quality (the plush weren't real plush toys, they were polyester screen-printed fabric), the show started about five minutes late, you couldn't hear the singers, which were off-key half the time, and the music was not available anywhere after or before the show, which is what we like about other live shows. We will not be spending any more time or money on a live Nick Jr. show ever again. For a one-time experience, it was worth sitting through a terrible show to see our daughter smile, but she even hated that the characters were played by people and not costumed characters. Save your money, go see Disney on Ice or a live local show instead!

    Overpriced

by EmSchwin on 1/8/20Old National Centre - Indianapolis

My 4 year old wanted to see the show because of a commercial on Nick Jr. He really likes Paw Patrol. Unfortunately, it only included 2 Paw Patrol characters. It was good to see a variety of characters and some surprise ones as well, but it was disappointing to miss out on our favorite Paw Patrol pups. It was a 45 mins show, then an intermission with another 30 mins of show. So it was a good length of time for toddlers. At $50/seat, we expected a bit more than some costumes and dancing with scarves. You are definitely paying for the Nick Jr. name and not a lot more. I would save your money and go see a local show!

    My son loved it

by hdgrind on 1/8/20Old National Centre - Indianapolis

It was ok. All of the kids seemed to love it. Just seemed very cheesy. You could see the people holding and controlling the characters. For the price, I just would of expected better. Maybe a lower price would of gotten them more people. I couldn’t believe how bare it was.

    Dad duty

by Dad on 1/8/20Old National Centre - Indianapolis

This was a horrible event for a grown-up. However, my 4 year old loved it. I did my dad duty and took him to see it, but let his mom off the hook and didn't make her go with us. We were thankful to have saved the price of the 3rd ticket, and she got a little quiet time.

    Not worth it

by Candi on 1/7/20Old National Centre - Indianapolis

Overall very disappointed with the price we paid and quality of the show. Only 2 Paw Patrol characters there, the puppeteers are visible. You can see the puppeteer talking while the character talks. I should have saved money and sat in cheaper seats. We left early since our 4 year old was bored and could see how cheap the show was. So disappointed since we had hyped up going to a Live Show. I’ll save my money for Disney and quality entertainment.

    Nice show for the children

This was a nice show that was reasonably priced. A lot of the Nick Jr. characters were present and it was entertaining to my 6 year old.
