NICK JONAS IN CONCERT:

For more than a decade, pop rock crooner Nick Jonas has been making fans swoon with his soaring falsetto and charismatic stage presence. But 2014 was a turning point in the young singer-songwriter's career, as he abandoned the teen pop tinsel of his Jonas Brothers fame to expose an edgier, more mature side to his music. As a solo artist he boasts a gritty repertoire of songs about sex, jealousy, and love all perfectly accented with catchy hooks, R&B influences, and slick dub beats that'll have fans bobbing their heads the entire time. With his fresh material and new direction, Jonas treats fans to an unforgettable concert experience packed with raw talent and charisma.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Dallas-born singer and actor Nick Jonas kicked off his entertainment career on Broadway at age seven, starring in high-profile productions including Les Misérables and Beauty And The Beast. At age 12 he penned a deal with Columbia Records and released one album, 2004's Nicholas Jonas. In the mid-'00s he rose to superstardom alongside his two older siblings, Joe and Kevin, as a member of the pop band The Jonas Brothers. The group released four studio albums and became a worldwide teen phenomenon before calling it quits in 2013. Since 2010 Jonas has focused primarily on his solo career, beginning with his debut album, Who I Am, which featured backing band The Administration and introduced his fans to a harder, guitar-driven sound. Over the next few years Jonas built up an impressive resume as an actor and as the musical director of Demi Lovato's Neon Lights Tour. In 2014 he announced a brand-new album and released singles "Chains" and "Jealous". The fresh material translates perfectly to his exhilarating live shows, where Jonas continues to prove he's a talented performer with serious musical chops.

Nick Jonas won't get another penny from me

by disappointedisgustedbored on 9/9/15Hershey Theatre - Hershey

I was completely disappointed with the Nick Jonas Concert. We were the first stop on his tour and should be the last. I am pretty sure the girls playing the guitar and bass were there just for looks. They were kept mainly in the dark except for some light shining on their legs. I occasionally saw them strumming but am sure most of their music was pre recorded and am unsure if they even know how to play. During Nick's song wilderness, the background screen showed continuous pictures of animals having intercourse, cucumbers, bananas, explosions, water faucets and many other things sexually related. I am just wondering, has he forgotten that his fans are STILL mostly young girls?!?! Is this the image he is trying to portray now? Well, I'm out if it is. I saw mothers covering their childrens' eyes and even leave after he proudly announced he "just shot a steamy music video" for one of his songs. He is a good singer, but he should focus building a better band and a respectable show. You don't have to be trashy to be good. We just went to Zac Brown Band the night before and it was AMAZING!

    Loved this concert!

by Sami21874368953 on 6/23/15Indiana Farmers Coliseum - Indianapolis

I thought this concert was great! For sure worth the 40 dollars it was for the floor seats. I was way closer than I thought I would be, so when I got there I was pleasantly surprised. It was very clean and well kept up. I liked that this year they had all of the people's merch that was preforming there. I had heard in the past they had only had the headliner's merch, glad that changed. I will be going next year too for sure! It is so worth it to go it is a great time. (I'm 21).

    Jonas was a non performer

by oldman75 on 6/22/15Indiana Farmers Coliseum - Indianapolis

Flo-Rida did his thing and shook the earth. The headliner Nick Jonas stood there and did an amazing job on the microphone but his ability to put on a "show" was severely lacking. I've seen my share of concerts and without a doubt the best ones... the artists that stand the test of time... are those that put on a stage performance as well. But hell, who am I to criticize an individual half my age that has thousands of loyal fans and infinitely deep pockets...

flo rida, nick jonas, and more!!

by proudmomto2 on 6/22/15Indiana Farmers Coliseum - Indianapolis

This concert was good. Good groups, great songs. Took a little long between sets. Basic light show. But that's okay because I came for the music and did not leave disappointed. Solid opening acts, 4 in all. Then came Flo Rida. Flo Rida sang 8 songs, all hits. Opened with Good Feeling. That man has so much personality and energy!! Really interactive with the crowd. Nick Jonas opened with Chains and closed with Jealous. Perfect.

    Flo Rida stole the show

by kassinova on 6/22/15Indiana Farmers Coliseum - Indianapolis

The artists were pretty good. Theevent had several technical dificulties with the screens turning off. One of Flo Ridas back up dancers fell, I hope she was alright. The breaks in between each artist was way too long. I also didnt like the whole new artists singing songs no one knew. I didnt pay to see them, I wanted tohear songs that are better known. Seats were great all around, but The event was not the best. The music was louder than the artists singing a lot of times. The venue doesnt have great acustics so the sound was bad. The light show occasionally blinded you as well. The lights would shine right in your eyes. I had a good time though, I wont go again.

Everyone was amazing, Nick Jonas was okay. I don't believe that he should've been the headliner because his energy wasn't enough for me. I believe Kalin and Myles are rising stars, they got the crowd going to start the show and Flo Rida did amazing! He had amazing crowd interaction. During the meet and greet everyone was so nice but nick didn't have a smile on his face at all.

Nick was AMAZING venue was too hot and crowded

    by TayTayV44 on 5/26/15LC Pavilion - Columbus

The whole show was indoors, which was very strange at an outdoor event. Nick Jonas was AMAZING!!! I would love to see him back. On the negative side, the venue was way to hot and they over crowded the small room. Between each act, they took too much time, and their DJ played very loud music. Too loud.

    Great Performance

by JBWorldTour2009 on 5/24/15Stroh Center at BGSU - Bowling Green

I haven't seen him perform live since the Jonas Brothers toured in 2013. We caught his show at the Stroh Center at BGSU. Nick Jonas has clearly moved front and center. His vocals were outstanding. It's a high energy show and the crowd was on their feet the entire time. I would definitely go see him live again.

    Fun show but very disorganized

    by rachel1ster on 5/22/15LC Pavilion - Columbus

i had vip tickets for this show and i was waiting in line but i was never told to go inside. i was standing there and soon after realized that we had to push our way through a mob to get inside. when i got in, there were people that were behind me in line that were already inside. i also only got to meet 1 of the 4 artists that i was supposed to meet. i was in line to meet jake miller and the line was cut off right in front of me? the performances were amazing but it was very disorganized and not worth the money
