Niall Horan on Tour
As a member of the mega boy band One Direction, Niall Horan honed his stage presence in big venues, first on the UK edition of The X Factor and then in front of stadiums packed with screaming fans. His affable personality shines through no matter the size of his audience, and his songs sparkle whether he's backed by a band onstage or simply strumming his acoustic guitar solo.
Niall Horan in Concert
When Niall Horan was 11, his brother gave him a guitar for Christmas. He didn't take to it right away, but he kept at it, using online tutorials and becoming adept enough at the instrument to impress his family members and people in his hometown of Mullingar, Westmeath, Ireland. Horan tried out for the seventh season of the UK's The X Factor and was eventually put together with Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson to form a band, One Direction. The group quickly took over The X Factor under Simon Cowell's guidance, and even though they finished in third place, they became one of the true megastar acts to come from the show, selling out stadiums and causing fan frenzies around the world.
One Direction went on hiatus after the release of their fifth album Made in the A.M. in 2015, and Horan began his solo career in late 2016 with the sweet single "This Town," which he followed up with the slinky, blues-inspired "Slow Hands." His first solo album, Flicker, came out in 2017 to great reviews, topping charts around the world and showing off his appreciation of folk-rock acts like The Eagles and modern country artists like Maren Morris, with whom he duetted on the scruffy "Seeing Blind." In 2020 Horan released his second album, Heartbreak Weather, which added synths to his pop-rock mix.
Beautiful venue, small intimate show, incredible setlist, talented performers. What else could you ask for from a concert!
Niall is a proper showman. He was funny and engaging with the audience the entire night and seemed genuinely grateful to be there. His voice was fantastic, the best it’s ever been, and he had great chemistry with his band. I can see his career going far. Would absolutely see him again.
I’ve been waiting 7 years to see him perform live and it was definitely a night I will never forget!
His show was amazing!!! His opening act was phenomenal!!!! Niall was absolutely fantastic!!! I would love to see him again!!!
Niall did great. you did amazing sweetie. best concert i’ve been in in a while
The show it self was absolutely incredible and the venue absolutely breathe taking. Given the events to happen in New York earlier that day the security and staff were still very pleasent with guests and made the experience that much more enjoyable!
Such a great experience! What a humble and sweet performer. A fantastic album and a fun concert. Wish I could turn back time and go back.
Concert was incredible! Audience was on its feet the whole time. Niall sounds even better in person than on his CDs!
niall’s personality came through while preforming, he seems very humble. His voice live is just as good if not better than the studio version. The opening act Gavin James also has an incredible voice, some people actually went just for him. His personality also shined making the whole concert the best, they are a great combo. The icing on the cale was #flickernyc project, when everyone put up their flashlights with different color paper to represent the irish flag; unforgettable night despite the sad event that happened earlier.
As the "mom" I didn't expect to be up dancing, clapping and smiling. He us a very talented musician, not just some kid from a boy band.
The venue, lighting, sound, the energy. It was truly a perfect night. Niall horans performance was incredible. He was in his zone. He engaged a lot with the crowd. Beautiful and intimate setting.
One of Niall's most intimate gigs that One Direction could never have pulled off. I have never attended a show of an artist I loved who hadn't released an album. Despite this, Niall pulled off an amazing show and showed so much love to his deovoted fans that it didn't matter if most of the crowd didn't know the rest of his songs. His voice, stage presence, and energy was enough to carry on through the night. Much love to Niall for everything!
Although my date hasn't come yet I already knowwww my uncle is gonna slay.... I mean...., what else would you expect from a QUEEN???????? His voice is SNATCHED FOR THA GODS and he continues to scalp us all with his vocals. When I heard he was coming to my city I began QUAKINGGGG and I haven't seen my wig since then.....
Niall was amazing! The fans were crazy though, everyone was pushing and about a dozen girls had to leave the crowd because they were hurt. He had to stop the show to tell everyone to stop pushing. The opening act had to stop in the middle of the song multiple times because girls were getting hurt. I think this venue should be 18 and over. I give niall 5 stars and the venue is cute but they couldn’t get the crowd under control.
The show waasssss dopeeeeeeeee..... although i haven't seen it i see myself quakingggg because the queen bee the most beautiful human ever to exist is right there...
DIDN"T EVEN SEE IT YET BUT I KNOW IT WILL BE EVERYTINNGGGGGGGGG
