It was hard to determine seating for these tickets. Now that we have been there it will be much more simple next year but was frustrating for 1st time visitor!
Ticket Master prints tickets with an "R" before each section of seating in the grandstands. This causes a lot of confusion for fans because a lot of the people think that they are in section "R" when their are actually in another section.
Went to the Ticket line with ease ,. Without any questions if it was real or not real ,.
Great seats at the races. Will use Ticketmaster again.
Enjoyable event, everything was easily accessible, and the pits and teams were fun to mingle with.Good job!
It’s just a good time for car people, took my daughter who didn’t really want to go, she loved it !i was kinda’ upset with the buy one get one half price since it didn’t work, charged full price!
This was my first top level drag race. The cars are unbelievably fast and the sound and vibrations they send thru the grandstands is awe inspiring. The power they generate is incredible. A visit to a top level NHRA event should be on every car enthusiast’s bucket list.
From the ease of parking , cleanliness of facilities , seating , food vendors , access to pit area , etc. Bristol Dragway is a first class venue. The days qualifications and eliminations were very well organized and there was little if any down time between classes. All in all probably the most spectator friendly racing event I have attended.
My wife and I had a great time at the thunder valley nationals on saturday, infact next year wr plan to go for the whole weekend
Simply an outstanding drag race venue, a must for anyone who loves fast cars and the roar of nitromethane machines.
Always awesome at Thunder Valley the staff is always helpful and polite. The track is clean and the food is great.
Bristol Dragway always puts on one heck of a show. Great access to the pits, drivers, and interactive displays. For the money you can’t beat the experience.
It was Amazing, I had no idea what I was in for. It was very loud, shock my body, but fun! I loved the diversity in people and vehicles! (I did not like seeing babys there... ) Everything was Awsome! Will be back!
While the racing was unbelievable great, The seating experience was terrible . Visibility from all over the seats was great but every time someone came by you had to get up to let them squeeze through . Fix walkways where are the fans could watch the race and others could get to their seats would make the experience ultimate
Parking signs were confusing and that process could stand some improving....we drove around in circles for a while and finally resorted back to the process we'd always used...thought this had changed but it had not. Love the roar of the engines in Thunder Valley and they did not disappoint this time either!! John Force is and always will be my favorite. Hoping he could bring home the win but guess 2nd place will have to do.
We went Friday afternoon and found a parking spot right away thanks to the many people directing traffic in the lots. There were shuttles taking people to the gates but we chose to walk because it wasn't very far. The bag and tickets checks only took a minute, and then it was a very short walk to the grandstands. We were in the front row at the far end, the seats are well marked and even these metal bench seats had backs. It's easy to see the track from just about anywhere. There are several tunnels that go under the track to the pit areas, and the main concessions are there too. Plenty of souvenirs and food available, and we met several drivers and got pictures and autographs and got to watch their crews works on the dragsters. The 2 big screens make it easy to see interviews, replays, stats, etc. You get to see things that you don't see on the tv broadcasts, like the flame throwers that go off on top of the building during burnouts, and you get to hear the song choices of the drivers (or their crew in some cases). The best things for us were meeting the drivers and crews, and feeling the power of the engines as they go by during the races. Leaving at the end of the day was smooth despite the number of cars.
I'm doing it again next yr, fast easy and organized
