Monster Truck Nitro Tour Tickets

Not really a lot of action and a lot of talking. Didn’t keep the kids entertained at all. Was expecting them to do more. Also the event was too late in the day. We wanted to stay for a ride but by then it was after 10pm.

My 4 year had a blast enjoying the show and enjoy meeting the drivers

Fun but overpriced. The kids enjoyed it. Doesnt really compare to professionals though.

First the event was postponed 5 min before the doors opened. Second the civic center was too small for the trucks. Then the carbon monoxide from the trucks was not ventilated in the civic center. The price of merchandise was outrageous. The price of concessions was doubled. I will never attend the monster truck nitro tour again

I've been to many monster Truck shows over 20+ years and thus far this was the worst one. I don't know if the drivers weren't good in general or if they lost their mojo due to the bad weather that caused the show to be postponed till the next day but it was extremely disappointing. It didn't last nearly as long as most shows do. And in the past during freestyle most drivers give it their all but these drivers barely did any jumps, no Donuts, just horrible.

I wasn’t expecting a big show due to the size of the Salem Civic Center but dang…was expecting a little excitement. $120 on three tickets and another $30 on “pit pass” which was a joke. Out of 6 trucks, 1 broke before anything started and a 2nd one made one pass and broke. So we watched 4 trucks drive over a mound. Too much time wasted between gigs (trucks and motorcycles). It’s sad when the most exciting part was watching adults run their rc cars over the jumps while waiting for 45 minutes. Also, they only played three/four songs the entire time!! I heard those same songs play at least 10 times each. Super disappointed to say the least.

We enjoyed the trucks and bikes, but the Salem Civic Center was EXTREMELY too small for the event. Next time it’s in this area, please choose an outdoor venue or a bigger facility.

The Monster Truck Nitro series performances was spectacular, they all performed so well each and every person from the big trucks, motorcycles, passenger vehicles and even the remote control cars. However we ABSOUTLEY could not understand a thing the announcer was saying, after the show we were advised that the civic center had been told the sounds system was not working correctly but the problem was never corrected. This was very sad as the audience was not engaged and that was such a disappoint for the performers.

The show was really good. Just needs to be held in a bigger venue so more and bigger jumps can be done. Overall though it was great because it was spent with my 2 sons and grandson!!
