Love drag racing been a fan of racing since I was a kid in school and the Boys would drag race on the roads but NHRA is the ticket love the vibration feeling when they pass by and the Nitro smell and I especially like the Force Team plus some others
Love the track. Drivers are great to the fans. Love the open pit pass with your ticket. Parking and transportation to track was A+. Class act by the NHRA and its associates. No issues at all! Will be a yearly event for wife and I. It was that good! Blessing to all who put on the event.
Love the Thunder Valley track. Beautiful scenery. A lot of walking. The shuttles only take you from the bottom of the parking lot to the entry. Would have appreciated shuttles farther up the hill all the way to the tunnels.
Had an amazing trip. Took the adult kids to see what their fathers passion is! Drag racing in the Valley was an amazing experience.
I've been to 15 or so NHRA races between Bristol and Gainesville. I've never seen them operate so slowly. Can't tell me what one said that it was due to TV. I've been to too many for this to be the only live televised one I've been to. I hope this doesn't continue. Outside of that, it's great. Always has been.
Bristol is always a blast! The races were sweet and it was hot as balls! And the parking situation sucks. It is what it is.
The last time I was at a big time NHRA venue was 50+ years ago. Went on Saturday and spent most of my time talking to driver/owners about their cars. If you are a "motor-head"it does not get better than that.
Bristol is the best track experience I gave ever had. Friendly staff well managed. I had a great time and plan on it being an annual trip.

The closest you can get to Motorsport and the teams are willing to talk when they aren’t under a time crunch. That doesn’t even factor in how ridiculous the 5 senses overload the Top Fuel class is.
Great time, family oriented and great people! The nitro methanol cars are amazing.
Really need maybe behind the start staging area. Names of drivers in the lane there in. Better info for the casual fans to be involved.
A great show. The Z-Max drag strip is second to none. Great fan access in the pits. Great races. The action was almost nonstop. Vendor area was great to. Most bang for the buck in top level racing. Can't wait till next year.
As always, this was a fun time at the dragway. I do feel that going on Saturday, instead of Sunday, would be best moving forward. Most of the cars clear out and the vendors are so. I felt like one vendor had watered down their alcohol so a spiked lemonade was tasted like nothing. Another downside is that you have to use credit or debit cards for the vendors as they do not accept cash. Otherwise, parking is easy and the venue is good.
Great time at the track! Loved watching the different classes. The races ran smoothly and on time. I would suggest more food vendors offering more of a variety. We will definitely be back!
The NHRA Drag Race in Charlotte NC was great...the place was clean as a pin...there were no issues at all. Coming and going there was NO traffic and everything went smooth except when we were leaving a courtesy person wasn't real nice about the golfcart ride...we were in line and there weren't but 2 or 3 already in line so we jumped on the golfcart and he said there are others in front of you you will have to wait for the next cart...the golf cart pulled out with one person on it we could have rode he was a little over the top control freak. But if that is as bad as it gets we are good.
The race did not disappoint. Easy access getting in and out of the event. Plenty of food vendors. A little pricey but the food was hot and very tasty. Overall just a wonderful time with family. Looking forward to the 4wide in April.
Ease of check in was great. The prices at the vendors were too high. The announcer for the races was terrible. He never once announced who was staging to race before they started their cars. So I had to guess who was racing.
TV and going to the races are two different things Go!!!
As always the facilities are the best. SMI always put the fans first.
