Website information in ticket sales not accurate- showed skills for all 4 days with out distinguishing between kids skills and NHL skills. I went Sunday looking forward to NHL skills - not happening! Very disappointed - I
Everything at the fan fair was great except for the fact that we couldn't enter again same day. We had tickets to the All star game so we went to the fan fair experience for an hour before the game started with the intention of coming back after the game. I am not sure why they wouldn't allow re-entry same day when both events overlapped. So we spent $66 for the 3 of us for only an hour and wasn't allowed back in. We were not happy with that at all!
Ticket prices were reasonable for the event. It was a dream to get my pic taken with the Stanley Cup and to see the other trophies up close and personal. The games were entertaining and the team mascots were a lot of fun!!
It was a great time for family memories as well as seeing more history of hockey.
This was my first All-Star event so I wanted to experience all of it since it was the first time being held here in Las Vegas. Friday night skills event was a great experience and the All-Star game on Saturday was amazing. That being said I expected to have a great time at the fan fair…..well not so much. It was interesting to see the trophy & the memorabilia but the cost of the ticket wasn’t worth the event.
The Las Vegas NHL Fan Fair was great fun especially for the kids. All the staff, vendors, and NHL folks hosting the event were so welcoming to attendees. Only one complaint (being a Vegas resident), where was Chance?
I am not from Nevada. It was my first time attending this kind of event and was not at all familiar with the Las Vegas Convention Center. Did not know it was so big or had multiple buildings straddling various streets. If you can't orient yourself direction wise, just saying it's in the "West" hall means nothing. This event needed WAY MORE signage directing attendees where to go. All I noticed was one little poster on a door after I already parked and just started walking around trying to figure out where to go. The poster is only legible if your close to it. It was not visible from the street and the majority of the parking area nearby. It would have been too small to read anyway. I would have given zero stars but my son really liked seeing the Stanley Cup and other trophies.
I had been to the MLB All-Star event a handful of years back when it was in NYC and had such a great time and was blown away by the amount of activities, organization of the event as well as the opportunities to buy swag. Flash forward to the NHL ASG Fan Fair in Vegas. There were some fun activities put in place, but everything was very far and spaced out, staff was mostly meh, and when you get to the All-Star shop to shop for gear they had very little variety and not all of the players jerseys were available for sale. That was the biggest disappointment, unlike most other leagues all star weekends the only place you had access to buy all star gear was really at fan fair and they didn’t have enough supplies to accommodate. Having been to the ASG that weekend and then only having the Captains gear and VGK players gear avail it was disappointing. I then went online to Fanatics and even there they had limited gear avail. All in all this was the most “NHL style event” disorganized and a letdown. The NHL has such a great product and they always just end up letting you down more so than any other sport.
We hated that we had to walk outside the venue to get food and/or drinks. Lines were really long so we didn’t do everything. Experience and concept was great otherwise. Wish they could have maybe duplicated each station.
This event was good for kids and those who wanted to participate in skills games. I liked the fact that all the trophies and their histories were on display. I also like the HOF displays.
It was a great time. Was able to see the game without 18,000 other people. Lord Stanley was there as were the other NHL trophies!!
It was ok - probably a one-time only experience for my husband and I. The interactive displays and games are great for kids and would keep them entertained for quite a while. We don't have young children anymore, so we were in and out in and hour, and that's including buying a few t-shirts at the booth.
Was not worth the price of entry. Geared more towards kids than adults. Not much for adults to do. Will not return
Other then the Stanley Cup picture there was nothing worth my time or money NHL could do so much better.
The kids and kids at heart had a great time at the 2022 NHL Fan Fair. There was fun and games for the whole family. All of the staff members were polite and interacted so well with the children. Would definitely recommend attending a NHL Fan Fair to anyone!
Too much going on in Las Vegas for 1 weekend, with the Pro Bowl - had better chance to get signatures from NFL , Hockey was fun, but could not get into Vegas early, Thurs ? to go to Fan Fest, just too far away
2022 NHL All Star Fan Fest was a Blast. Well Staffed. Lots of Room. Plenty of Interactive Booths. Lots of Giveaway's. Stanley Cup line wasn't too bad. Overall my family has a great time. I'd go back next year if it was in my town again.
It was a good experience especially if you have kids
