Might be one of the best ASG in over 20 years. Toronto was the perfect spot for this ASG, I was not going to attend but am glad I did!

    Wonderful experience

by Marcus on 2/4/24Metro Toronto Convention Centre - Toronto

Honestly, it was fantastic event I truly enjoyed myself like the set up was proper. The fan interaction with the players for the Thursday red carpet was it fantastic experience players actually signed took photos. The Stanley Cup thing was a nice bonus had the whole Hall of Fame exhibit. That was kind of easy for y’all to do because it’s like down the street ,but you still had it The line was pretty easy and simple for the maze. It’s kinda long, but did Action events for the game for the kids? That was great I hope you guys can put on more events like that in the future. Lastly, the pricing was on point you guys didn’t overcharge and make people pay like 50 bucks. That’s what made it even better honestly

    Fun experience actually

by CatSilver on 2/4/24Metro Toronto Convention Centre - Toronto

The fair itself was very fun. Had lots of hockey history and soul in it. The Stanley cup was great bcz U could take a picture with it. And the all Star red carpet was also very fun seeing and getting autographs from them. 9/10 overall could've had some snacks though.

by Hockey Mom on 2/4/24Metro Toronto Convention Centre - Toronto

This was an absolute blast! We were up that way for our son’s hockey tournament and went with some of the team. This was a core memory for these kids! They got to meet some of their favorite players, mascots, take pics with the Stanley cup, and the list goes on!

    Adults

by Red Carpet on 2/4/24Metro Toronto Convention Centre - Toronto

We went on Thursday. The games and skills zone were great. The red carpet was not so great for anyone that didn’t get in with the first 100 or so adults. The fans standing on the rail was made up of 3 rows deep of mostly adults while kids circled around the outside trying to see their idles. If you weren’t 6’ plus tall you didn’t see anyone, and you definitely didn’t get an autograph. The “kid zone” area was blocked off to the public and somehow some people were allowed to be on that side. The disregard of all the adults for allowing kids to the front was bad. The event made no effort to get the kids to the front. Anyone that did get to the rail had to stand there for 2 hours waiting. This should have been all about the kids. Which means the kids need to be able to interact with their idles. And also means that the kids can’t be made to wait as long as the adults had to wait.

    OTHER-WORLDLY

by THE JUICEMAN on 2/4/24Metro Toronto Convention Centre - Toronto

Wel, for starters, I ended up having more unexpected encounters with my favourite team’s players than I could have ever dreamed of! A photo and autograph on the red carpet with David Pastrnak, (thanks so much Pasta!) a photo and autograph with Zdeno Chara ( thanks BIG “Z” ) an unexpected run-in with former BRUINS defenceman Andrew Ferrance, who was gracious enough to take a picture with me and show me his 2011 STANLEY CUP BRUINS CHAMPIONSHIP RING ( thanks taking the time and for the invitation to interact with you Andrew! ) and the Q & A session with “BIG Z” hosted/narrated by Andrew Ferrance! I have been an NHL BOSTON BRUINS fan for 40 years ; it’s a commonality that my dad and I share. I have never been to an NHL ALL-STAR event and after the “OTHER-WORLDLY” experience that I had at the NHL ALL STAR FAN FAIR event in Toronto, I would gladly welcome another opportunity to visit in the futire.

Overall fun experience but poorly executed

by Jeremy on 2/4/24Metro Toronto Convention Centre - Toronto

Knowing that hockey fans are of all ages, it was honestly quite surprising to see just how poorly executed the red carpet experience was for kids. The highlight of the Thursday Fan Fair was the red carpet walk and I’d say easily 90% of the area along the fencing bordering the red carpet was occupied by adults and crazed memorabilia fanatics looking to capitalize on the players signatures on all kinds of their “items” rather than to allow some true fans to enjoy the experience for what it was. It was very disappointing to hundreds of kids, including our own, that barely got a chance to even see the players let alone get a photo or a possible autograph. The setup could’ve easily been better to allow for an area designated for kids only that would’ve allowed for even an attempt at a better experience for people under the age of 16. Overall there were still some great interactive displays and areas for fans of all ages but again, the planners should’ve had better foresight into the red carpet walk.

    Pleasantly surprised

by Topolniski on 2/4/24Metro Toronto Convention Centre - Toronto

Usually going to an event like this you are Nickel and dimed but this wasn’t the cause. Well thought out and put together. My kids had such a great experience here.
