What an amazing show, it sounded awesome and the guys did a great job with all the songs they played!!! Jason still got that incredible voice too!!

Pleasantly surprised. Jason and bandmates shredded! My neck is sore from headbanging all show. Hope Newstead does some albums and tours! Ft Lauderdale lucky to have Jason living in South Florida.

Newsted was a pleasure to see! I would definatley go again in a heartbeat. Memorable night that brought the adrenaline pumping.... The energy was contagious and it was refreshing being introduced into Jason's new passion. Hes still got the dedication and that shows in his playing.

Newsted is unapologeticly back home in the bosom of what he's known and loved so well, - Metal. After a searching stint in a brit-pop influenced "alternative metal" band (Echobrain) , and a period of being a gun-for-hire for other bands, he seems to have really come into his own, and the journey has led him right back home. Giving a performance fit for a stadium to a packed club, was like slipping into a well loved leather jacket for him, and the genre easily remembers and conforms right back to his shape as well. Every new song from the forth coming EP was better than the last, shockingly chest-crushingly heavy, and not one second seemed like filler in any way. Each song was an opus, a story, and time travel machine. The thought and strategy put into each one shone through. There is a lot of competition in metal, and it's all done before, so how do you shine in a field of greats? By remembering that you are, and have always been, one of them.

Jason reminds us of why we loved Metallica live. Great stage presence! Learn the songs on the EP and bang along with Newsted.
