Newsies (Touring) Tickets

My daughter’s and I thoroughly enjoyed the Newsies musical performance! Everything from the set to the performers to the orchestra were wonderful. The big thing lacking was the sound. There were many times we could not quite hear the words being sung and the mics seemed to cut out.

This is my 4th time seeing the show, and I still love it.

High energy. Very much like the Broadway show. Some of the dialog was a little low to hear, but I blame this on the sound mixer. My daughter and husband really liked the show, too. They especially liked all the dancing. Karen

Loved the dancing. It was fantastic!! Some of the voices were not on par. Could be because the sound system was terrible!! Need to fix the sound. Thought the production was entertaining.

Terrific performance. If you get an opportunity to see this tour-don’t miss it. The Soraya is a beautiful venue.

We had not been to Toby's in years, having moved out of the area. However, our 15 year old daughter is a Broadway nut and was excited to hear Toby's was showing Newsies. It was amazing! Performers were all excellent, top quality & would definitely recommend this show. Dinner was very good, as always. We will definitely be back.

The cast of Newsies had amazing energy. They truly enjoyed performing. They had the audience in the palm of their hands. I can't remember the last time I was part of an audience that was so supercharged. What a wonderful performance and a wonderful evening!

This was my 4th time seeing the show and each show was better than the last. The cast's excitement to be performing could be felt the full two hours. From the costumes to the music to the stage design, everything was high quality. If you get the chance to see this incredible show before it closes in October, I HIGHLY recommend it. P.S. The cast is incredibly sweet when you talk to them at stage door. All were extremely genuine and sincere.

I see many of touring musicals that come to the Pantages Theater inLA. I also see many regional shows. This production of Newsies fell into the category of FANTASTIC for me. Very rarely do any of the shows I see I will describe as fantastic or even bother with doing the review. Usually most people will do the review if it's fantastic or it stinks. This one ROCKED!! The dancing was amazing!! There are definitely many highly trained dancers and gymnasts in this cast!! The audience was so amazed by the big song and dances numbers, they cheered and applauded loudly I loved the story. The music was great. and the casting was outstanding.

My friend and I took the Metro From the Universal Station (only two stops) and arrived directly across the street. Upon crossing the street, I was quite taken back by the setup in front of the Pantages. It has been some time since I was last at this venue and was saddened to see that they are now searching purses and bags upon entry. This drastically took away from the magical feeling I used to get when walking through the large doors of the venue. The show itself was enthralling. Voices were clear and audible, constant set changes that flowed with the show and enhanced the imagery. There were bits of humor and romance amidst a great historical/political story.

This show is crazy good. The performance by the cast was unforgettable, the choreography was fantastic, the songs grew into me and before I knew it I couldn't stop listening to it. This is my third time watching it and I drove ten hours to get to this location just so I could see it again. Whenever this show plays in California, I will get there, no matter how unlikely or how far the distance is. I can't get enough of it.

The cast is the best and they really put there hearts out there. Leaving it all on the stage. Great job!

The songs were great, as was the dancing. In my opinion, this is a must see show.

Spectacular show in a beautiful theatre! My nine year old son and I enjoyed every minute of it.

This production of Newsies really hit it out of the park! The sets were completely amazing; so many moving parts with the actors interacting throughout the process. The video displays added such a wonderful touch to the set design. NOW...the SINGING and THE DANCING!!!! This was non-stop action that really did please and made you long for more!!!

I absolutely loved this show! I was a big fan of the movie and couldn't wait to see the stage production, although it took four years for the tour to come my way. Totally worth the wait. Saw it in San Jose and immediately made plans to see it in Los Angeles. It was just as good the second time, if not better. The score and choreography were amazing. It's been a week, and I am still singing the songs all the time. All the performances were fantastic. Joey Barreiro in the lead was incredible-I fell in love with Jack Kelly all over again! It really looked like the cast was having the best time putting on this performance. This is now one of my all-time favorite musicals! I would see it again and again and again if I had the chance.

Fabulous and so many talented performers. It was a little long for my 10 year old Grandson but we all enjoyed it anyway.

I've been a fan of the movie Newsies ever since a friend convinced me to watch it 15 years ago... Needless to say, this live version did NOT disappoint! My mom and I go to the Pantages theater at least once a year, and while I've loved them all, this one had, by far, the most dancing I've ever seen. It was amazing. I couldn't have asked for a better show!

If you loved the Disney movie, you'll love the live musical! I loved every single moment. The song and dance numbers were all fantastic and I would totally go see it again.
