Great time! Wish women's hockey got more recognition
This is a great way to see very good hockey - some of the top women playerd from around the world -- at a very good price. They did a good job of selling seats on one side of the arena so that it didn't feel empty. Lots of crowd engagement. This would be a great outing with a bunch of sporty girls. Or hockey fans. The only downside was that there were few concessions open, so the wait was long for limited items. We'd definitely go back and continue to support this new league. We should have checked out the parking in advance-- spent more than we needed to.
I have been to 3 games. I really like the way the team works well together. The Prudential Center is a great venue. I just would like to see more people attending.
Our family attends Liberty basketball games and this Siren’s game was like getting in on the ground floor of a burgeoning women’s sport movement. Really affordable, great fan atmosphere. You don’t have to put up with any of the aggressive bs you encounter at some men’s sporting events. 100% will go again.
My first Sirens game and we had a blast! Can’t wait to continue watching them play.
The NY Sirens game was awesome!! It was GREAT hockey played by amazingly talented women! The Prudential Center was also great - easy parking, great food and drink options. It was exactly what my daughters wanted to see! However, the fan base was very interesting, and I had a LOT of questions from my daughters. There were fans dressed in animal costumes (so 'furries'), several people dressed inappropriately (extremely short skirts - they saw butt cheeks). I personally support that people can dress how they want, and be whoever or whatever they want to be, but I was just shocked at the large VOLUME of those people, and the non-stop questions from my daughters. I explained that people are just expressing themselves, and that it's fine. However, I've taken my daughters to several other NHL games, and MLB games, etc... and never saw a crowd quite like this one at the NY Sirens game.
Great event! Super impressed with the level of play, skill and physicality of WHL!
It was great to sit near the ice and watch the speed of the game. And the ladies of the New York Sirens and their opponents were as tough as their male players.
The atmosphere at the hockey game was electric, filled with the sound of fans chanting, clapping, and stomping their feet in rhythm with the action on the ice. The roar of the crowd surged every time a player made a great play. Every check, every shot, and every save was met with an uproar of cheers or groans from the passionate fans, creating an atmosphere that felt like the entire arena was on the edge of their seats, united by the love of the game.
Very fun atmosphere in the building and an entertaining product on the ice. My daughter and I drove over 3 hours to attend the game and we will likely do it again…and we hope that the PWHL expands (and thrives) so that we get a team closer to us at some point. The fans were very into the game and the hockey was great!
These powerful women are so much fun to watch! Take your family. Take your friends!
I organized an outing for family and friends just before Christmas to see our NY Sirens play the MN Frost (my sister's boyfriend is from MN, how convenient--something for everyone!). We were longtime fans of the Metropolitan Riveters, and we are thrilled to see the sport growing, and to have the Sirens return home to the Prudential Center this season! We all had a wonderful time enjoying the quality game play, the location, and family-friendly atmosphere. Even my mom, who is generally not a huge sports fan, was completely absorbed by this outstanding experience. It was great to see lots of families with young kids in attendance, and we hope to see this trend continue. Only suggestions for improving the experience would be: please, turn down the PA system (music was way too loud), and definitely need to open/staff more food and merch concessions (extremely long lines there between 1st & 2nd periods--my sister and her boyfriend missed a decent chunk of the 2nd period because of this). Awesome, surprising touches included lots of interaction with the crowd and the bracelet making table! We will certainly be back for more--as my friend said, "is this the start of a new holiday tradition?!":D
Family loved cheering on the professional women’s hockey !
Great to see the Sirens make Prudential Arena their home. This is great professional women's hockey. Lots of families and kids there. Reasonably priced tickets and a fun experience. Try it for yourself.
I attended the Sirens Home Opener on Wednesday at the Prudential Center. I picked up my signed Sirens jersey after winning a contest and had great seats behind the glass. The crowd was very into the game and the team responded accordingly with great enthusiasm throughout. The tickets aren't too expensive and you can probably get a discount if you buy a season full or half plan. I will probably go back again because it was a fun night and I enjoy Women's hockey and try to catch the games when they are on TV.
Amazing experience - recommend for anyone. Great seats and easy access in and out of stadium.
The hockey action is fantastic, the seat prices are reasonable, the fans are fun & friendly, and the staff are all professional and helpful. PWHL games are a great experience for the whole family. We will definitely be attending more next season.
Team New York finished the season strong! Although it was not the playoff ending we were hoping for the last couple of games were amazing! The players have so much heart and they show so much love to their fans. This has been our 8th game that we have attended between UBS, Prudential and Bridgeport. Next year we are even considering heading to support them in Montreal or Toronto for a game! This is a family friendly event. It's great seeing everyone come together ti support women's sports. I think that in time the PWHL will draw constant crowds with loyal followers. The league needs to be marketed more for it to get there but I am certain it will.
Such a great experience, I love PWHL games! There’s no event close by that can give a similar experience! History was made this year!
It was a wonderful hockey game with affordable and great seats!
