New Jersey Ballet Company Tickets

I had purchased 2 tickets for my husband's birthday for the above mentioned performance. I have never walked out of a show in my life, until last Sat. night. The caliber of performers, the fact that the dancers were never in sync, and a show choir that any high school group could challenge was such a disappointment. It was actually so painfully amateur to watch that we had to leave. The fact that BPAC could offer amazing shows, and then include this embarrassing performance is an outrage. It was supposed to be a special evening that turned into a disaster. I certainly will think twice before I purchase tickets to any future shows.

This was an incredible performance. I commend the New Jersey Ballet for performing Sleeping Beauty for the children.

The ballet was great! The fact that they used local kids for mother gingers little clowns is great! I picked front row mezzanine tickets, so no-one would sit in front of my 3 year old... Overall it was a horrible view if you are 5'9" or under; my family is. We moved our seats without the assistance of the theater (bergenPAC englewood), who would not talk to me since I bought through ticket-master. Luckily it wasn't sold out!

I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE QUALITY OF THE DANCERS IN THE NUTCRACKER. I DON'T KNOW WHY , BUT I EXPECTED MORE FROM THE NEW JERSEY BALLET. I HAVE SEEN THE NEW YORK BALLET, AND THEY ARE OUTSTANDING. IF YOU WISH TO INTRODUCE VERY YOUNG CHILDREN TO THE NUTCRACKER, THIS MIGHT BE THE VENUE FOR THEM. UNFORTUNATELY, IT WAS NOT A GREAT SHOW FOR ME.

The performance was excellent. The love for the art of ballet shined thru.

The NJ Ballet Company production was excellent. The PAC is an intimate venue and you could really appreciate both the grace and the athleticism of the performers. Our granddaughters were enthralled! For my money it was as good as going into the city!

This presentation of the Nutcracker at Bergen PAC was very nice. I brought my 12 yr old daughter and 10 yr old cousin and it was perfect for them! Its not too long, and geared towards the younger set, I felt. The show was at 1pm on a December Saturday afternoon and the theatre was not filled, which was odd. Our seats, 3rd row in mezzanine, were $50 after tax and fees tacked on, but we got to see the whole stage and everything happening from up there. It was a good view for the shorter ones.

Nj Ballet company did a spectacular job!!! Show was beyond great!!! Would go back again:)

This was our first ballet and it was a great introduction as it as lively and enjoyable.

I've never been to a classical ballet before, but I decided to go with my wife on Saturday night. It was unbelievable. The precision. The grace of movement. The people were like flying. It's better than seeing a dumb movie. And I appreciate the fact that the performers were smiling.

The talent and depth of the New Jersey Ballet Company is extraordinary. Every scene in Don Quixote was amazing and the costumes were beautiful. Bravo to all the performers.

This ballet company has depth. A number of ballerinas gave great performances. The costumes were magnificent. An enjoyable evening. Oh yes, the plot had little to do with Don Quixote--a plus.

"Don Quixote" was mesmerizing! The music, choreography, and dancing were a total treat. One could hear a pin drop! I must see this again. I couldn't have picked a better Mother's Day gift for my mom!

If ya wanna get some nuts cracked in Joisey, there's no betta place than with the Joisey Ballet and their production of the Nutcracker. Holiday festivities abound, the dancing was lovely and all the kids, from young to teenies, actually watched without drama. Nice performance.

A beautiful production! Lovely costumes, great choreography and a very talented company!

I took my 10 year old and 6 year old to their first Nutcracker Ballet here. It was interesting, with great costumes and staging effects that kept the kids entertained during the 2 hours. The company dancers showed off great skill in the second half of the ballet. They used the kids very well. Despite the lack of orchestra, it was well done and entertaining. Orchestra seats were 1/7th that of NYC Ballet, but I got much much more for my money!

The production of the "Nutcracker Suite" was wonderful.

There were some excellent dancers in the company. Our 9 year old granddaughter really enjoyed the performance, which was our goal. However, it was disappointing to see the dance performed to canned music. The contribution of a live orchestra is not to be underestimated. Something to consider for next year.

The ballet was very beautiful and awe inspiring. The music and scenery were great. There were a lot of kids---mostly well-behaved. However, unless your child is over, it seems a waste of $$$$. Too much talking, crying and the overwhelming smell of popcorn.......it's NOT the circus or a sporting event!!!! I was disappointed at the number of people who walked in WAY LATE---however, since the parking is terrible.......perhaps that doesn't help.
