I am a former college lax player, and took one of my daughters, who plays lax in High School to the game last week.
It was great game, and we had a wonderful time. However, the constant really loud and obnoxious music playing diminished the experience. You can't hear the hits, can't hear the refs, can't hear the players talking to each other on the field. My daughter, who has a pretty good understanding of the game, was constantly asking me what was going on.
I think you underestimate the intelligence of your customers by thinking they can't get into the game without the blasting music. This is unfortunate.
You make an effort to explain the nuances of the game by running the ticker overhead with explanations of lax terms, and handing out flyers doing the same. People would learn the game really fast if they could see and hear the action on the field.
Too bad this is the program.
