Rising pop superstar Nessa Barrett will make her New Zealand debut with anticipated headline shows this December.

Named as one of Billboard’s 21 Under 21 and 25 Artists to Watch in 2022 by Ones to Watch, 21-year-old, LA-based Nessa Barrett is taking the world by storm. While her music career took off in 2019, Nessa was born with music running through her veins with strong influences from her musical family. Posting covers and creations to TikTok, Nessa quickly gained popularity on the app for her candidness and authenticity. Now with more than 19 million TikTok followers and 1.3 billion streams, Nessa has a legion of loyal fans ready to embark on the journey to stardom alongside her. 

Following a series of releases including singles ‘Pain’ and ‘La Di Die’ and 2021 EP pretty poison, Nessa released her debut album, young forever in 2022 to critical acclaim and support from fans, with Ones To Watch claiming “she firmly turns the spotlight on herself a bit brighter, declaring that if we are going to look at her, we might as well see everything” and The New York Times abelling the project, “supremely self-conscious”.

    I saw nessa october 25th 2022 in los angeles for the first time for her one night only show, and omg let me tell you, she never disappoints. she’s the cutest human ever and soo good live, im so happy she’s touring now and i get to see her in san francisco in march 2023, i also love how she has a close connection with her fans it’s so adorable, anyways cant wait to see & meet ness march 19th :)

    SHE IS SO CARING WITH HER AUDIENCE ❤️ so much fun to sing her songs with such an amazing audience. Her songs promote mental health awareness and you can just feel the love at her concert. So worth it 💕

    I was at Nessa’s first concert (11/5) and she was incredible. However, she showed up over an hour late, and the performance itself was under an hour. Understanding that she doesn’t have that many songs out, I still think she could have interacted more with us (the audience). BUT the venue (Moroccan Lounge) and Nessa’s performances were amazing.

    nessa radiates such a beautiful aura, it’s insane. seeing her perform live was honestly such a magical experience that i still can’t get over. i’ve been obsessed with her before this and i never knew i could grow to like her more and more every single day. her performance was a safe space, an escape from everything else. singing along to her songs with her had me tearing up. i’ll forever support nessa and i cannot wait to see what more she has in store for us!! STREAM PRETTY POISON!! 🖤🖤
