    by dlr14 on 8/23/17The Forum - Inglewood

I have seen Neil a few other times and he is always fantastic! Such a great time singing along to all the great songs that are so much a part of my growing up. I will go every time he is in town. Hoping he will continue to do yearly touring as long as he wants and I will be sure to come join in on the wonderful time.

Neil Diamond still has it! Great crowd appreciated the performance just as much in 2017 as in 1973.

    Diamonds Are Forever

    by RanKat11 on 8/16/17The Forum - Inglewood

The last time I saw Neil at The Forum was in the 90's. The place was old, the sound was alright but it was with my step mom and dad. My first ever concert with my parents. Sharing a live show of my dad's favorite singer was priceless. Today, The Forum is just a few years old, my dad is much older and Neil is gracefully wooing his audience at 76. His voice was strong, his band, top notch and he made us sing, smile and cheer... it was a Beautiful Noise. So nice to be back in the "New" Forum with memories as thick as the smoke that used to fill it. It is now a smoking free arena. I saw the Lakers, Fleetwood Mac, the Eagles, all back in the mid and late 70's. So glad The Forum has been lovingly restored. Don't know if I will, but until the next time, Neil, thanks for the memories and the fantastic show! Beautiful set and lighting too.

I was a little disappointed by the song choices he sung. There were many more songs I would of loved to here him sing. Overall it was amazing to see him

    Great Concert!

    by neneng1 on 8/16/17The Forum - Inglewood

I regret not seeing Neil Diamond when he was younger. Even though he is older now he can still sing his iconic songs. I love that part he got down on his stomach to sing a song to this lady. He still has the charm and sexiness about him when he sings. Very talented Man! Love the images of his Parents and when he was young and singing about his parents. Very touching and memorable. Although he did not sing the 2 songs I love 'Hello" and 'I believe in happy endings" I loved his concert. The fact he had musicians that was his friends from way back shows how loyal he is. I wished Barbra Streisand was there to sing the famous duet with him. Thank you Neil Diamond for coming back to tour!

    Neil Diamond is a legend

    by Babylon11 on 8/16/17The Forum - Inglewood

It's amazing how many songs Diamond has written, and his set list is wonderful going back and forth between standards and uptempo and sad songs. He is a master of his craft and you know it when you hear him sing!

    A most satisfying experience

    by Mishacat3 on 8/15/17The Forum - Inglewood

I first saw Neil Diamond in concert was 1976, at The Greek Theater in Los Angeles. A live recording of the event became Love at the Greek. I have been to 9/10 concerts. This show Diamond show was so sincere. His acknowledgment of the roll the fans have had on him the past 50 years. The song choices and he was in fine voice. His band was amazing. I loved every moment and was very glad I went. "I've been this way before and I'm sure I'll be this way again."

Neil Diamond was as amazing as always!

    by adam32179 on 8/15/17The Forum - Inglewood

This was my 8th or 9th time seeing Neil Diamond, and it was far better than the last few concerts. He was much more relaxed and genuine. He always puts on a good concert, and I always enjoy myself, but this time he seemed much more "real" and seemed to have a real ease about him. After 50 years of doing this, he's still one of the best.

Neil Diamond - The Consummate Entertainer!

by janetlovesca on 8/15/17The Forum - Inglewood

Neil Diamond still has "IT!!" His voice (oh that voice!), his command on the stage! He had all of his fans in the palm of his hands! We were all in a trance for 2 1/2 hours Saturday night, August 12th at the Forum in Inglewood, CA! I've grown up listening to every one of his albums, seen him over the course of my life & his career. He just keeps getting better (like Red, Red Wine...!).

Neil still has an amazing voice !!

by kmmy on 8/15/17The Forum - Inglewood

Everything about Neil Diamond is still pretty amazing ! His voice is still top notch ... and he's 76 years old !! Thats pretty awsome in it's self . He played the guitar & told a few jokes ... He was great !!! ** We thought the the negatives of the concert were : * No opening act !! * The tickets said 8:pm ... it didnt start till almost 9 pm. That was a long time to rush to get there from the Inland Empire in Saturday night traffic to L.A. just to rush to our seats to sit there for 40-50 waiting for the show to start. * The other negative was the volume of the concert : * It was low ... seems like the energy would have been higher in the crowd if the music would have been just a little louder & not so many lights on throughout the whole event . Made us feel like we were in a geriatrics cruise ship lounge. ** BUT , with that said ... it was awsome to see & hear the legenday Neil Diamond in person !!!

    The Consummate Performer...

by hardwicksfault on 8/15/17The Forum - Inglewood

I went to this concert with a friend that is a huge Neil Diamond fan. I listened to him as a wee lass, and saw him perform in Las Vegas in 1976 with my parents. Since then of course, my musical tastes have changed, although I'm a stickler for bands that write their own music, sound good live, and realize that live performances are important to their fans. Neil Diamond still ticks all those boxes. All those songs I listened to as a kid came rushing back, lyrics indelible in my head, along with many poignant memories. His vocals as strong as ever, his stage presence phenomenal, a truly talented musical genius that wants to ensure that his fans get his best possible performance at every concert. The Forum is a huge venue, but he had the crowd on its feet - everybody singing along, just as I was. I'm glad that I decided to attend this 50th anniversary tour.
