If you are a fan of wrestling, you will enjoy the NCAA championships

The championships as always pits the best college wrestlers in a three day crucible. In which the top wrestlers and their teams find out that it takes more than skill to be the best. The venue is great. Access to many attractions in the area. For foodies, the venue is blocks away from many trendy and some hidden gem restaurants. The minuses of this event, is that the St. Patrick day parade and run was in the same area and at the same time as a semi final round. This made getting in to the event a little difficult. The last minus, is good tickets are hard to find. Most of the good seating is sold to universities and resellers. So it is easy to get tickets, but hard to get good ones

For hosting this for the first time in LaCrosse you did a great. Now lets make it even better for next year. Here are some suggestions to make the event even better. 1- figure out how to make the announcers voice louder or audible when the crowd is reacting 2- have 2 score boards on the championship mat 3- we probably are a long way away from getting a large video board - so in the mean time put the screens you have above the center of the mat so that you don't have to look away from the actual match. Thanks for the youth event on Thursday anf the volunteers that assisted - it was a great opportunity for area youth Thanks to the UWL coach for talking to the boys after it was all done - motivating them as they persue there wrestling dreams

This event was very well done. There was lots of parking, free too, amazing. The staff was pleasant and helpful. No problems entering and exiting. The sessions started on time and kept moving. We have been to this event many times and were impressed with Cedar Rapids the last 3 years. La Crosse did an equally good job. Thanks; we'll be back next year.

I thought the wrestling was great, but honestly thought the refs robbed many wrestlers from certain matches. I lost my voice because of the bad calls made from yelling at the ref. I felt bad for certain wrestlers that got robbed by the refs.
