great event as always. Although I hope in the future that the NCAA would hold early ticket sales for the next year's event for ALL the fans, just not ones of special mailing lists.
I was very pleased with the overall experience. Chesapeake did a good job of hosting. They had plenty of food vendors open and didn't run out of food like last year in Seattle. Lots of t-shirt stations so the lines weren't to long of wait. They have two type of seat covers in the lower section, one cloth the other a leatherette. I was in the cloth seats but just two seats down were the other. The leatherette just felt more comfortable to me, like they had more padding. The view was ok. I would like to be able to choose the seat available, rather than best available. I ordered the first day they came on line and I saw people who bought after me with better seat selection.
We've been to several ncaa womens volleyball championships and we enjoyed this one in Oklahoma City Bricktown. The arena was an easy walk from our hotel. Lots of things going on in the evenings.
We love volleyball, and with a daughter that plays club we figured it would be a great family road trip to Oklahoma to watch the natonal championship. The Arena was nice, with lots of pre-game activities and opportunities to meet some of the big names in volleyball, such as gold medalists and players from the national team. The family has a great time, I'm glad we did it.
Outstanding volleyball play, in an arena that was very well-suited for it, with engaged crowds both nights. Great time.
Division 1 volleyball is unbelievable to watch! It is so exciting and the level of competition is outstanding.
We were on the upper level but at mid-court so the view was good.
The contest was very exciting and fun to watch. I would go again.
The event was great! I would highly recommend to others.
Always good to see high level of volleyball played.
It was very cool to witness a high-calibur volleyball match at a premier venue. I hope to attend the Regional again next year!
What a great venue for the top level Division 1 Volleyball Championships. The competition was first class in a first class venue. It was my first visit to the YUM Center and look forward to returning for other events.
Excellent venue for volleyball. Plenty of nearby, cheap parking lots. Loads of great restuarants. Plenty of tourist attractions around the volleyball events.
I love it Hope it comes back to the yum center. It is a great place to watch events.
This is the second time I've been to watch NCAA volleyball at the KVC Yum! Center and I will continue to attend whenever it is held there. It's easy to get to, there's plenty of places to eat & visit in the area, the employees at the Yum! Center are so friendly & helpful, the seats are comfortable (especially important since I have back problems), and I've always had very good seats. Kudos for doing such a great job hosting this event!
Great college sporting event ! Pep bands, mascots, etc. added to the atmosphere. Entertaining, high-quality volleyball -- players going all out!
The volleyball was excellent. The egress from this new venue is questionable. From the lower bowl, all patrons are funneled up to a narrow walkway dotted with steel pipe obstructions at every aisle, so that causes a bottleneck at every aisle. I would recommend sitting at the top near an exit, gosh forbid an emergency ever occurs at this beautiful new arena.
The level of play did not disappoint. Absolutely top notch play by all teams.
Nice seats, good wifi and clean bathrooms. I could see coming back for other NCAA events.
