    NCAA Volleyball Championship

by OUVB on 12/18/16Nationwide Arena - Columbus

This was a fun experience. Too bad Stanford did not bring their band and cheerleaders, Texas did and this added to the fan experience. The Prime Sport reception was nice. The food was more than adequate and the open bar was a nice touch. Unfortunately I was told not to leave this reception area with my glass of wine. Alcohol was available for purchase at this venue and people were walking around the arena with their preferred beverages.

    The volleyball was incredible!!

by Anonymous on 12/18/16Nationwide Arena - Columbus

Well. . . . . I took my middle school daughter to see the D1 Volleyball Championships, but I'll tell you. . . . .I think I had a better time than she! Incredible athletes. . . . . .everything was first class! Nationwide Arena was wonderful. . . . .certainly worth the time and the money and an event I'll remember forever! I will say. . . . . from the National Anthem to the final point. . . . .Nationwide knows how to put on an event, and trust me I attend quite a few events at The Schott! The "host". . . . .he was great.......loved the interviews, his "wave" and other things done for the crowd on the scoreboard!

Espn camera boom ruined the view for thousand of seats with it's constant movement through the action. Great event that had to be watched around a stupid camera boom.

    Great Venue for Volleyball

by JTLAFF on 12/8/15St John Arena Columbus - Columbus

St. John Arena is 61 years old but it is still a great place to watch volleyball matches. All the seats are great and there's always ample seating for everybody who shows up. It is starting to show its age and from what I understand they going to be tearing it down in the next year or so.

    NCAA volleyball championship

by RoCR on 1/9/15Chesapeake Energy Arena - Oklahoma City

We were excited about the chance to have a special experience at the the event, having paid a premium for the seats and club access. The food was very average and drinks a bit pricey. Our seats weren't great. The club was not open in the half time in the Final match which I was very surprised. It would be have fun to been able to be in our team's group of seats behind them. Also parking might have been included for the premium paid.

    Fantastic experience!

by LARYAN on 1/1/15Chesapeake Energy Arena - Oklahoma City

I took my 15 year old daughter to this event. We made it to OKC, Thelma and Louise style! OKC is a wonderful city, full of extremely nice folks, from our hotel employees to the employees at the Chesapeake Center. At every turn, there was a helpful, smiling face! As a southerner (from SC) that hospitality really means a lot to us! We attended both playoff games as well as the Under Armor All American High School game. The high school game left a little to be desired and I've honestly seen better play in the club setting. But the college games were awesome, even if the final match didn't last very long.

Penn State gets a back to back championship!

by vballgal on 12/28/14Chesapeake Energy Arena - Oklahoma City

The match was actually closer than the score line....Great defense was played by both teams, but ultimately BYU had expended too much energy getting to the championship game to put up much of a fight. Penn State was definitely the better team!

Wife and I went and really enjoyed the women's volleyball final four. We are volleyball fans and even though our team wasn't in the final four, we just love watching volleyball. A great event at the Chesapeake energy arena. The Seats and view of the court were great! Hope they have a final four there again soon!

My wife and I are volleyball fans so we weren't there for one team with that being said it was horrible. When we bought tickets we hit best available and we were 2 rows under the group boxes and you could see open seat every where on the bottom level. Maybe if we were there to watch a certain team maybe it would have been alright but we wanted to the games and see what was happening. Do not recommend seating in front of the group boxes sounded like you was just seating next to a drunken party, Penn state people were in there and one time they were even spitting into the seats below. I will never go back unless we know for surethane we can get seats low enough where you can watch what is going on in the game. Wish I would have just sTaye home and watchEd on tv.

The event was great. Well run, good matches, staff worked with us when needed, but... ESPN used our seats for their camera and we were told we would be upgraded for the inconvenience. That word, upgrade, was used both in the phone call we received and it was written on the ticket stub of our replacement tickets. But, the new seats we were given were no upgrade, just moved a few seats down from where the original seats were located. We asked what was the "upgrade" in the new seat assignments and were told at the ticket window that there really was no upgrade. We pressed a little and were moved one section closer to the center of the court, but still, no change in ticket price, so really not an upgrade. Was pretty disappointed with the communication overall.
