    Great NCAA Women's Basketball

by anne56 on 3/29/18Times Union Center - Albany

As a UCONN fan, it was a great game. Our seats were 4 rows up from the floor, behind the official replay table but closer to the S.Carolina bench. Initially, we were closer to the home team's bench, which was UCONN, but Geno opted for the visiting team's bench. Nonetheless it was a great location, great game and the SC fans were fun. We are looking forward to next years games in Albany.

    Food concessions big negative

by Anonymous on 3/28/18Times Union Center - Albany

Nice venue, good seating, good layout for basketball. Would definitely attend again. Big negative was the food service. They were ill prepared to handle the crowd. Spent an entire quarter of the game waiting in line for a bottle of water. When the person at the head of the line had to wait for their order, rather then wait on the next person they made the entire line wait on that one order. Witnessed two cashiers waiting on the same person. Not all concession booths open. No beverage only stands open. They dropped the ball big time. Aramark is the vendor and the Times Union Center would do well to reconsider their choice of vendors.

    ALBANY WBB REGIONAL

by WBBHOOPER on 3/27/18Times Union Center - Albany

Another terrific regional, particular if you are a UCONN fan. Very good basketball and well worth seeing. This venue is ok but beware the seats are tight and very little legroom so it gets uncomfortable, especially when watching the semifinals. However if you are a fan of women's college basketball this is a very affordable and not to miss event.

    Not The Best

by Gamer2 on 3/27/18Times Union Center - Albany

This venue is not the best for a regional. The arena needs work. Bathrooms are limited and a flight down stairs. Compare that to modern arenas like Mohegan Sun where each exit has rest areas, so there are never lines. Here the ladies room ends up with long slow lines and even the men's room has a line. The food area is ridiculous. One person at each station taking orders, filling them and collecting the payment. There prices are outrageous and their credit card payment is slow. The mobile credit card machine is shared within the station. Someone on lime will miss close to a quarter if you go at halftime, Terrible, the worst I have ever experienced. The arena is old. Seats are tight and if you are six feet tall or taller you are cramped. The sound system is terrible and communications are hard to hear. Check in is horrible. Without personnel to direct people coming up stairs to get on line to go through the scanner, people cut lines and there is anger from others. The arena fails to supervise its own rules. I know other arenas offer a more pleasant experience and this place is a poor choice for the regionals.

Albany Women’s BB Regional Final was unforgettable

by Anonymous on 3/27/18Times Union Center - Albany

The venue at Times Union Center was unbelievable. I attended the Regional Final in Bridgeport, CT last year and the venue wasn’t even close to being as nice as this venue. The staff were very helpful and personable. I had the most amount of fun and the best time at a Regional Final this year than any other year. Thanks for all that you do to make Women’s Basketball a great sport to be a fan of and for the safety that you provide to all student athletes, coaches, friends, fans and families to make it the best experience possible for all involved. We greatly appreciate it. I highly recommend attending this event next year at Times Union Center as they will be hosting again because it is an event that you won’t want to miss.

Very fun time and great games.

by BroncsBomber on 3/27/18Times Union Center - Albany

The Times Union Center is very clean and cozy. The Fan-Fest prior to the games in the new Atrium was definitely fun for the kids. If you don't have kids with you, there's not much reason to go to it for more than a few minutes just to look around. The arena offers a wide variety of food, above and beyond the basics like burgers & dogs. Typical arena pricing - $5 for bottled water/soda, $10 for a chicken fingers/fries basket. Inside the arena, the ushers are friendly and happy to help find your seat. Parking in the area is relatively inexpensive - average is about $20. The games were fun and very exciting. It is definitely worth it if you're a hoops fan.

    UCONN # 1

by Camp18 on 3/27/18Times Union Center - Albany

I had a great time, haven't been to the TUC in 42 yrs we moved back and was so happy to see the UCONN girls play. The seats were great the staff was amazing and everyone was very friendly and knowledge. The security was top notch and everyone entered with no problems. Please bring the NCAA girls basketball back again. Everyone did a great job. Thank you for bringing the NCAAW to the Capital District.

    Uconn fan

by UC123 on 3/27/18Times Union Center - Albany

This place charged 20 to park. Long long concession lines, ran out of food items, 19.00 for 2 hot dogs and 2 waters . The last time Uconn played there it was about the same - didn't seem they were prepared for the crowds. If you want to see Uconn then go there for anything else doubt I'd return.

    Terrific Games

by Kili19341 on 3/27/18Times Union Center - Albany

The basketball was fantastic. Seats were great and we could see every play. The arena was clean, but had few bathrooms that were hard to access. It was difficult to move around the concourse and we didn't even attempt to get refreshments due to the congestion. We figured all of that out at the semi-finals and came prepared to stay comfortably in our seats for the final game. The games were well attended, but the arena wasn't nearly full. The arena was easy to access and parking was plentiful. Can't wait for the Final Four!

The seats were fantastic, the game was great, even though it was a blow out. We were able to see everything from our seats.
