About

The NCAA Men's Basketball Championship, also known as March Madness, is the annual Division I Men’s Basketball tournament that began in 1939. Composed of 68 men’s college basketball teams across the U.S., the highly-anticipated competition determines the National Champion through a series of single-elimination games over three weeks. The tournament format follows four regional brackets with teams ranked from one to 16, plus an additional eight teams competing to claim the last four main bracket slots during the First Four Games. For the 2025 NCAA Men's Basketball Championship, the First Four games start on March 18 and 19, followed by the First and Second Rounds between March 20 and 23, Sweet Sixteen on March 27 and 28 and Elite Eight on March 29 and 30. For the fifth time, the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas will host the Final Four and National Championship games, on April 5 and 7 respectively.

  • NCAA 1st and 2nd rounds

Basketball was great to watch. Exciting games, great bands, great fans

  • Great basketball, lousy seats

by MLPinSF on 3/28/17SAP Center at San Jose - San JoseRating: 3 out of 5

The event was terrific and the games were great, but the seats were so far off to the side that they weren't worth the money paid.

Every year that I get the chance to purchase tickets for the March Madness in my location I do the first day always. The seats are alway terrible and I have had season tickets for the Sharks for over 25 years since day one.I would enjoy sitting in seats that are at least as good as my season tickets not tickets by the band or behind the basket.

  • March Madness was Awesome!

by MossyMom on 3/28/17SAP Center at San Jose - San JoseRating: 3 out of 5

The venue was good as it provided plenty of seats for all team's fans. The seats we had were ok except for the person on the aisle had to keep looking through, up and under the safety hand railings in front of them. Parking was a bit steep for a college event.

  • 30th Anniversary (Nickname sb one-thirtieth)

Our group every year travels to a different site to watch NCAA 1st and 2nd round games. One in our group has done this for 30 years. Most have done at least 12 or more. Getting tickets is extremely frustrating and difficult. Once we decide where we are going, we then look to see if we know anyone in the alumni association of the hosting school. Then we find out it doesn't help, all the tickets are given to the schools who are coming to the event. Long story short, we have to buy tickets when they become open to the public, and year in and year out get really crappy seats. Please find a way for folks like us to get GOOD seats to these events. Primesport and those types of offerings are ridiculous. For four free beers and two sandwiches, the seats cost an extra $400. We can find cheaper and better tasting beer and sandwiches at a much lower cost. Help!

  • Sad Day for my team.

The Butler men's basketball team did not show up for the game. The entire team stayed in Indianapolis last Friday night. I enjoyed the game between Kentucky and Los Angeles better. both of those teams came to win.

  • March Madness - enough said

by kdawg32 on 3/27/17University of Dayton Arena - DaytonRating: 5 out of 5

LOVE March Madness and no better place to kick it off than UD - they do an incredible job hosting this event every year and I sure hope they will continue to host it and other rounds of the tournament for many years to come. My only slight criticism is they need to make sure ushers encourage spectators to traverse the aisles during stoppage in play. For this past event I had what I thought were great seats, right on the aisle in the lower section of arena, however we literally missed 40-50% of the play of the 1st game because people were continuously going up and down the aisles. Once I went to complain about it they did put an usher at the top of our section and the usher asked people to wait until there was a stoppage in play before going down the aisle., so it was much better. Still there is no way to prevent people from coming up the aisle during play. My suggestion would be to make announcements encouraging people to stay in their seats until there is a stoppage in play.

  • UK- UNC ONE FOR THE AGES

by TOEBELL on 3/27/17FedExForum - MemphisRating: 4 out of 5

THE SEATS WERE DECENT BUT IS SEEMS LIKE EACH YEAR I GET FURTHER AWAY FORM THE COURT. I BUY A REGIONAL FINAL AS SOON A THEY GO ON SALE BUT I GUESS ALL THE GOOD SEATS ARE NOW SAVED FOR SPONSERS, ALSO MY ACTUAL TICKET IS JUST A TICKET MASTER TICKET & NOT THE MORE COVETED NCAA TICKET, I DON'T KNOW WHY THIS ENDED I USE TO GET THOSE YEARS AGO. I LIKE TO COMMIT TO A SPECIFIC REGION BUT MAY IN THE FUTURE HAVE TO BUY ON THE SECONDARY MARKET

  • Great game and great city

    by RWCL1 on 3/27/17FedExForum - MemphisRating: 5 out of 5

The area is nice as is the staff. The lacation near Beale Street is great. The games were all good. The Kentucky/North Carolina game was a classic.

The games were exciting. My first March Madness experience for this UCLA Bruin fan

  • Great Game- Not so great facility.

by Cashmore on 3/25/17BMO Harris Bradley Center - MilwaukeeRating: 3 out of 5

The first game was low-scoring and boring. The second game between Purdue and Iowa State was exciting and a nail-biter. However, we were very disappointed in the Bradley Center. We left between games and returned to find people in our seats. The concession stands for the upper level were minimal in selections making the lines for ice cream really long. We had a terrible time getting out of the building because we physically could not take the stairs down and the escalator was blocked by an usher until the main floor cleared out. I saw people with wheel chairs waiting for the elevator. I actually had an anxiety attack thinking if something catastrophic happened in that building, we would not have been able to get out.

  • Greenville got Games

by Landpyro57 on 3/25/17Bon Secours Wellness Arena - GreenvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Great to have March Madness in town no matter who was playing, but to get UNC, Duke Marquette, USC, Seton Hall? Unbelievable.

  • Great Venue with a Big BUT

by RCJHKUOHIO on 3/25/17BOK Center - TulsaRating: 3 out of 5

They didn't show any other games on TV's A big part of fun in early games is to watch TV in-between games - especially when there are upsets and everyone is gathered around - bad miss and limited experience

  • March Madness
