About

The NCAA Men's Basketball Championship, also known as March Madness, is the annual Division I Men’s Basketball tournament that began in 1939. Composed of 68 men’s college basketball teams across the U.S., the highly-anticipated competition determines the National Champion through a series of single-elimination games over three weeks. The tournament format follows four regional brackets with teams ranked from one to 16, plus an additional eight teams competing to claim the last four main bracket slots during the First Four Games. For the 2025 NCAA Men's Basketball Championship, the First Four games start on March 18 and 19, followed by the First and Second Rounds between March 20 and 23, Sweet Sixteen on March 27 and 28 and Elite Eight on March 29 and 30. For the fifth time, the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas will host the Final Four and National Championship games, on April 5 and 7 respectively.

  • Wonderful time in a great city.

by Great Venue and Great Company on 3/25/24Gainbridge Fieldhouse - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

Indy is a wonderful city with lots to see and do. The game atmosphere was fantastic! I wish there was a better way to switch between sessions 1 and 2, but overall, they did a good job. The games were great, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

  • Great day at the Spectrum Center

by Amy on 3/24/24Spectrum Center - CharlotteRating: 5 out of 5

We had a fantastic experience at the Spectrum Center’s first round of the NCAA. The facility was easy to access, food was great and even through we were one row from the top, watching the game was a blast.

  • Great venue

by Alpal on 3/24/24Spectrum Center - CharlotteRating: 5 out of 5

Excellent venue for basketball. Even the seats in the top of the upper level have a good view. Great energy in uptown Charlotte. I hope the NCAA goes back!

  • Kentucky are frauds lol

by Jack G is the Goat on 3/24/24PPG Paints Arena - PittsburghRating: 4 out of 5

We ended up attending the second session of round 1 games on Thursday, and the event staff were efficient in getting everyone in and out. Overall, we had a fun experience, but it’d be cool to add a place for photos to act as a back drop. Or a huge display highlighting March madness that everyone has access to before and after the games.

  • There must be a better way

by Matt from Wexford on 3/24/24PPG Paints Arena - PittsburghRating: 3 out of 5

The start times for the sessions on the first day need to be adjusted. To expect 15 or 16000 people to clear the arena at the conclusion of the afternoon session at roughly 6 PM and then to expect 15 or 16000 people to enter the arena for a 7 PM start of the evening session is a pipe dream. This is even more so when probably 8 or 10000 afternoon session fans wanted to get in for the evening session as well. Unless we were expected to eat exclusively inside the arena, this left no time to get a bite between sessions. Clearly, local establishments missed out on additional revenue due to this botched timing. Also, the Ticketmaster service charges are ridiculously high bordering on usury.

  • Fun

    by Shaman103 on 3/24/24PPG Paints Arena - PittsburghRating: 4 out of 5

I enjoy attending the Thursday session 1 in Pittsburgh. It was easy to get in the games and move around. I would attend again.

  • Great 1st & 2nd Rounds

by UNC Fan on 3/24/24Spectrum Center - CharlotteRating: 5 out of 5

Awesome experience of being present to watch the 1st and 2nd Rounds of March Madness at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, NC. Great fans and great view of the B-ball court! Looking forward to March Madness 2025!!

  • Annoying and inconvenient

by Ben on 3/24/24Spectrum Center - CharlotteRating: 2 out of 5

I was in 215 and the loud speaker for all the music right above the section was completely blown out. Super loud and annoying. Imagine that one speaker in your car that’s staticy except the speaker is the size of your car. Not being able to have a cap on your bottle of water you paid $6 for is inconvenient, especially when you’re carrying three of them back up to your seat.

  • A lot wrong

by MK on 3/24/24Delta Center - Salt Lake CityRating: 1 out of 5

Absolutely terrible that they stop liquor and beer sales at halftime of second game when 2 full games to go. Absolute insanity. Even more insane, they clear the arena out between sessions, with only 25 minutes between game 2 and game 3. This all absolutely must be fixed or I won’t attend another ncaa tournament.

  • Horrible

by Waffle house on 3/24/24PPG Paints Arena - PittsburghRating: 1 out of 5

That place is horrible to get into the games at. Stood in line at 6:30 didn’t enter the gates until 7:20 game already tipped off missed first 5 minutes by time I could get to my seats. There was full 5000 plus people waiting outside when I got in who missed way more of the game. Very disappointing to pay all that money and miss so much of the games. Horrible entrances ways only 2 ways to get in. The ticket readers did not work. I had to pull ticket master up on my phone to scan barcode so no point in down loading tickets to wallet. Was terrible

  • East in, easy out. Seats were great at a reasonable price.

by Dayton Arena is Awesome on 3/23/24University of Dayton Arena - DaytonRating: 5 out of 5

Parking was easy and well managed. UD Arena is great place to watch the games. Will do it again.

  • This was one of the greatest trips of my life

by BD on 3/20/24Rating: 5 out of 5

Went with 12 of my friends from college to NRG Stadium in Houston for final 4. It was one of the greatest trips of my life. City was nice with good bars and the atmosphere at the games was nice. Hoping to do it again this year.

    by S. L. on 11/9/22Rating: 1 out of 5

  • Mens Final 4 tickets on sale after they were already sold

by Michael Slone on 3/27/21Rating: 4 out of 5

Well when you think you have seen it all You have not Mens Final 4 tickets on sale after they were already sold mysteriously??I have never witness anything like this before For the record this is NOT Ticketmasters fault The bottom line is I would assume if you are not a big wig for the NCAA or a sponsor or even a celebrity The average die hard college basketball fan like myself and many others had absolutely no chance of purchasing final 4 or championship game tickets outright legitimately

  • Let people a little closer

by Chris c on 3/22/21Lucas Oil Stadium - IndianapolisRating: 4 out of 5

Kept fans far from court during a pandemic, which is understood. However, selling tickets for same price way up high is silly. The game wasn't great but we enjoyed just being at a game with some fans.

  • Big Stadium, Good Game

by Chris c on 3/22/21Lucas Oil Stadium - IndianapolisRating: 4 out of 5

Good to have hometown Purdue there. Lucas Oil is a nice place to watch a game. You just can't go up too high if you are afraid of heights. Basketball is ok here but 15% capacity at a Basketball game, this can be a tough sell. Security was fine and no long lines, just a little too big for a 1st round game.

  • Hoops Fun!

by Bobblehead B on 4/21/19Vystar Veterans Arena - JacksonvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Enjoyable!! Hassle Free! Nice venue in Jacksonville. Friendly fans!!

  • Washington DC East Regionals

by Acesallin on 4/12/19Capital One Arena - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Great annual experience. The venue was fine and Washington is a super city with a number of excellent things to do, including cherry blossoms in full bloom in the Tidal Basin. Loved it!
