  • NCAA Hockey was pretty cool!

    by Chargincharger526 on 3/31/14Webster Bank Arena - BridgeportRating: 4 out of 5

It was my first NCAA Hockey games and i thought that it was awesome. If you like hockey and hard hitting action then these were some of the best games out there.

Officiating was very inconsistent. Really like having separate games with break in between. NCAA and NCHC tournaments have the one ticket and two game set which requires that you stay at the arena and spend a fortune on concession food. Would not purchase tickets to that kind of format. Lack of beer sales probably hurts attendance, but I refuse to pay those prices so it really didn't matter to me. Know that you don't have control but competing with the opening weekend of the NCAA basketball tournament doesn't help either. More corporate sponsorship and give aways during the tournament might help also.

The Big Ten could have held this at a large High School venue. It will take a long time before that group of six teams will draw me back. Venue was very nice but I have never seen so many empty seats

  • Great Tournament

by Anonymous on 3/23/14Xcel Energy Center - Saint PaulRating: 5 out of 5

Disappointed in the crowds for the first and second day. Unfortunate when you can't upgrade seats without forfeiting the tickets paid for especially when there were empty seats.

  • overtime games were fun

by car41337 on 3/23/14Xcel Energy Center - Saint PaulRating: 4 out of 5

Great games all well played and very close with games in overtime. Àlso made new friends from other parts of the Big 10.

  • Wait

by JohnnyDD on 3/23/14Xcel Energy Center - Saint PaulRating: 2 out of 5

Disappointing. Paid too much for whole tournament package and did not use the tickets for Thursday's games. I tried to sell them but there was No Demand for them. Next time I would only buy a ticket to the finials. I had good seats in the club section but moved to other seats in the lower level.

  • B1G Tournament B1G Failure

by Isucarnz on 3/23/14Xcel Energy Center - Saint PaulRating: 2 out of 5

Minimal attendance, lackluster performance, limited concessions and no liquor. Overall rating was as sub par as an ice hockey tournament in Minnesota gets. I will not be attending ever again.

  • NCAA Hockey Northeast Regional

by WildEagleCat on 4/1/13Verizon Wireless Arena - Manchester - ManchesterRating: 3 out of 5

The hockey was great. Tickets were expensive and the venue is not great. The lines to the mens restrooms are long and the concession areas are so backed up it's difficult to walk around the venue without getting "stuck". Waited in line for icecream for so long I missed a quarter of a period! All this congestion and the venue wasn't even full!

  • Hockey Fun!

by sggoblue on 4/1/13Van Andel Arena - Grand RapidsRating: 5 out of 5

Venue was excellent! Staff very friendly and helpful. Many wonderful restaurants/bars in the area kept us well fed. Only thing that would have made the whole experience over-the-top was if Michigan had made the tournament. Hope Van Andel will play host to this event in the future!

  • I love College Hockey!

    by nmc917 on 4/1/13Verizon Wireless Arena - Manchester - ManchesterRating: 5 out of 5

The game was excellent and I am so excited that the UMASS Lowell River Hawks won the game. It was a very well played game.

  • NCAA Men's Ice Hockey

by jdma on 4/1/13Verizon Wireless Arena - Manchester - ManchesterRating: 4 out of 5

A great event. Only negative: food in the arena is poor, and not allowed to leave & return between games to partake of the great eateries near by.

  • Amazing

  • NCAA Hockey Regionals in Grand Rapids, MI

by tompee on 4/1/13Van Andel Arena - Grand RapidsRating: 5 out of 5

  • 2-day Pass joke

by Dnaldalf on 4/1/13Van Andel Arena - Grand RapidsRating: 2 out of 5

The tournament was great, however, the decision to have two day passes meant that all of the fans Friday were required to remain in the building during the break in between games due to a "no re-entry" policy. This was very inconvenient since there were not separate printed tickets for each of the two games that day.

too many TV timeouts, ruined the flow of the game. Would suggest combining TV timeouts with the far too numorous video reviews

  • Good West Regional

by leroi333 on 4/1/13Van Andel Arena - Grand RapidsRating: 4 out of 5

Good seats. Good fans. Good teams. Surprised that not more people at the games. Surprised that more food and merchant stands not open.

  • Arena layout

by Pipefiter on 4/1/13Verizon Wireless Arena - Manchester - ManchesterRating: 1 out of 5

Concession stands and the men's room too close to each other. The lines for concession stands and men's room were running into each other. The lines to both were long and the people walking around could hardly get by.The men's room only had one entrance.Other arenas have two.The concessions stands were running out of supplies near the end of the first game. There were no men's room in the upper levels. It was hard to understand the P.A. System. The help were friendly though.

  • NCAA hockey regionals

    by srf1960 on 4/1/13Verizon Wireless Arena - Manchester - ManchesterRating: 3 out of 5

Great hockey but not being able to leave between the first two games was a downer. Is this a move to boost concessions? Would be much more enjoyable to get out to a restaurant in between games.
