  • NCAA Frozen Four Seats were great!

by siouxfan21 on 4/7/12Xcel Energy Center - Saint PaulRating: 4 out of 5

Had great seats for the midwest regional final. NCAA needs to have more apparel available to the fans and it would be nice if they would sell apparel on the club level as well. Overall, my experience was pretty good.

  • Lots of Heated Play at the Frozen Four Regionals!

    by THP58 on 4/1/12DCU Center - WorcesterRating: 5 out of 5

There's nothing like the action, compassion and top notch playing of NCAA hockey. Watching these teams play with conviction and pride not only says a lot about the individuals, but their schools they represent as well as the NCAA. Even the fans are top notch -- friendly and knowledgeable. If you have never attended an NCAA hockey game, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? You'll be hooked like we are (family affair) and you'll attend the Frozen Four regionals/Finals each year like a rite of spring!

  • NCAA @ the X

by PowerPlayPatrick on 3/31/12Xcel Energy Center - Saint PaulRating: 5 out of 5

Excellent seats in the Xcel Energy Center can be found anywhere; however, to have full appreciation of college hockey - nothing beats club level seats. Sitting at the center line provides an eagle's eye view of the action.

  • NCAA Regional East Hockey Series

by HockeySioux on 3/28/12DCU Center - WorcesterRating: 2 out of 5

Worst bathrooms on the planet. Three stalls. Long waits. Way too much time between games. Usually, the hockey is good, but all the games were non competitive.

  • Great event

by kalfson on 3/28/12Xcel Energy Center - Saint PaulRating: 5 out of 5

Great event at a great venue. Sure wish they would have served alcohol at NCAA events.

  • hockey great!! venue average

by forgeetit on 3/28/12DCU Center - WorcesterRating: 4 out of 5

The caliber of hockey was fantastic. The venue where the event was held was not. There were no events and limited restraunts/shops in the area. Also the concessions were limited and did not like the fact patrons were not allowed to leave the arena between games during the semi-final round

Fantastic matchup of the last two National Champions. Better skating, team work and puck handling than the Bruins. It's all about the sport and not the fightlng

  • Northeast Regional Hockey Championship

    by Bill46Boy on 3/27/12DCU Center - WorcesterRating: 4 out of 5

This is the 10th consecutive year that we have attended this event and we will continue to do so in the future. My only negative comment was the late 8 PM start for Sunday's championship game, which was late for me as I have to get up at 5 AM the next morning.

  • NCAA Hockey at DCU

by Anonymous on 3/27/12DCU Center - WorcesterRating: 2 out of 5

For hockey; The stadium is set up so you cannot see the action in the corners .

  • Gophers DESTROY UND Fighting Whioux

by ChokerHakstol on 3/27/12Xcel Energy Center - Saint PaulRating: 5 out of 5

Its always a good time when North Dakota gets beat, especially when they get beat down the way they did. It was nice to also see Dave Hakstol write another chapter in his book for choking in the NCAA tournament.

  • NCAA Hockey

by YetAnotherSydneyJBarrett on 3/27/12DCU Center - WorcesterRating: 4 out of 5

The event itself is wonderful! The facility is less than stellar! The constant windstorm that is produced in the arena by the ventilation system becomes unbearable after the 3rd hour. In addition, the idea that the largest bathroom facility in the arena is blocked off for a "private party" for both days while the 5,000 to 6,000 patrons paying $88 (plus the inconvenience fees) for tickets have to wait in long lines for the bathrooms with maybe two stalls or two urinals while the largest bathroom facility goes virtually unused is rediculous. There is no way that the private party brought in more revenue than the NCAA patrons (tickets, food, drinks, merchandise, etc.) to justify the exclusion.

  • Hockey = Awesome, Arena = So/so

by MrCamp on 3/27/12DCU Center - WorcesterRating: 4 out of 5

The hockey game and event itself was awesome! Boston College kicked ass on it's way to another Frozen Four!

  • Great college hockey

by joaddee on 3/27/12DCU Center - WorcesterRating: 4 out of 5

It was very good college hockey, with some outstanding goalkeeping Only disappointing thing was the crowd...there wasn't one....too many empty seats

  • Superb hockey competition

by Bitsko on 3/27/12DCU Center - WorcesterRating: 4 out of 5

The only problem I had with this - as did many others - was the 8:00 starting time. It should have been no later than 6:00, given that it was a Sunday. Also, the prices are getting very high, and the no-readmittance makes it needlessly difficult on those of us who wanted to go have a beer or two between games.

  • Great Event, Poor Venue

    by BladeGuy65 on 3/27/12DCU Center - WorcesterRating: 2 out of 5

The games were excellent, the seats were excellent, the fans were very good, the DCU center is a dump! Small crowd, less than 40% of the seats were being used, but the lines for the men's room were extremely slow and long. The rest rooms were dirty and stunk! 10 to 12 minute wait, and with a half full arena, and they were not even selling beer. The food was equally poor and it was expensive. Cash only, no credit cards, no money in the ATM and no re-entry. $4.25 for a diet Pepsi, $4.00 for water. Not at all a place I will return to again for anything.

  • Gophers dominate West Regional!

by Goldyschild on 3/27/12Xcel Energy Center - Saint PaulRating: 5 out of 5

I had a great time spending the weekend filled with three great hockey games and it all played out exactly how I wanted it to. N.D. played a tough game against W. MI. and won then the Gophers took it to B.U.. So they could face the Sioux and regain the respect they deserve as WCHA champions. By proving that they are the superior team by out playing N.D. in all aspects of the game. The Glorious Golden Gophers of Minnesota are off to bask in the FL. sun then tear up the ice down there. GO GOPHERS! Beat B.C..

  • Good College Hockey games

by FightingSiouxForever on 3/26/12Xcel Energy Center - Saint PaulRating: 5 out of 5

Excellant hockey games. Xcel Energy Center is very convenient to get to and close by many hotels to stay. Lots of parking available. The games are what makes the event memorable. Good food choices.

  • Ncaa hockey

by Harryoharris on 3/26/12DCU Center - WorcesterRating: 3 out of 5

Tickets are way too expensive....perhaps dropping the price would increase the drowd

  • NCAA stupid rules

by Thurbermp on 3/26/12Xcel Energy Center - Saint PaulRating: 3 out of 5

No beer. No in out. No hockey lodge. Stupid NCAA. To many commercial pauses, poor refund. Sit us by schools.
