Sorry western refs couldn't keep up with speed of northeast play
We arrived just before game time and waited an entire hour in the Will Call line. We missed the entire first period and the start of the second. Ticketmaster did not allow for download of purchased tickets and forced everyone to stand in line to pick up tickets. The Dunkin Donuts Center was wholly unprepared to moved customers through the line. Compete disaster and totally unacceptable. I would never attend another event here.
Everything was will call. The line was longer the. Space mountain to get into a game that we already purchased tickets for. Will call line was the only way in the door. We missed the whole first period.
NCAA Division I men's hockey I would not recommend going to this event ever again.
Cincinnati/Miami did a fine job of hosting the Midwest regional. For two nights the games and crowds were excellent. The facility was great and there were plenty of concession options. Happy to have been in the crowd to watch some exciting hockey.
Great hockey games! Had great seats and great interaction with those around us. The trouble was that there were so many empty seats. Need to promote this event better - St. Cloud and Minnesota rivalry, and it isn't sold out? The policy about no in and out needs to be dropped. That is a ridiculous policy. If you want better attendance, change that.
I am very much a hockey enthusiast, so seeing hockey games other than the cyclones in Cincinnati overjoys me (I like the cyclones too, don't get me wrong). My dad and I found great tickets, right before the game, and decided to go and I am very glad we did. North Dakota and Ferris State were a great matchup, and while I wished the DJ would let Ferris's band play more they were there and I heard live music for the first time at a hockey game. Overall a great experience.
Enjoyed the hockey tournament -- thanks for the fish options for Lent on Friday night. The best part was getting in and out of the venue -- easy to get to I-71. The worst part -- the ticket cost for the ramp next to the arena was more than the cost of the ticket for the day. (I ended up elsewhere for Saturday night.)
Front row seats, people in our seats had to get usher to move them, few ushers to find if you had problem like we did. Glass in bad shape marked, may not have been cleaned in years.
The regional was wonderful. UND came away with 2 wins!
Well hosted event in Cinti. Hockey was spectacular. Can't wait for return to same venue in 2016!
Great facility and easy it get to. Great food venues within a shirt walking distance. Great couple of evenings.
The US Bank Arena put on a great event, with great teams. There was suspense from the opening puck drop to the ot winning goal. The event was supported by the participating schools to help create a healthy competitive environment, pep bands and such. The facilities were equal to the play on the ice, excellent food options, clean facilities and other small things like entertainment between periods. Excellent job by the host, Miami University to bring the event to Cincinnati. We will go again if we are lucky enough to get the event here.
NCAA west regional mens hockey was amazing...and I would love to see this orad always go thru the Excel Energy Center. It is THE place to have this event.
The games were amazing, I couldn't believe more people wouldn't have come out to watch quality hockey, for a cheaper price than the Wild.
We were able to park on the street nearby for free which was great. The game was good and the seats had a great view.
This tournament was fantastic. The games were close throughout and you could feel the tension in the arena. The crowds were great as well. Cincinnati is hosting another regional in 2016 and we are definitely going to go back. We can't wait!
Great hockey, great venue, great seats, great atmosphere! Ticket process was easy and inexpensive. My sons and I had a great time!
NCAA did a good job with bands in club level with microphones. Made for a great collegiate experience.
The hockey was great! The ability not to leave between games on Friday was a bummer. Should have Beer sales in the arena.
