Comedian Nate Bargatze’s clean-cut and relatable humor is why The Atlantic called him “The Nicest Man in Stand-Up.” The Nashville, Tennessee native and host of the Nateland podcast found his voice in the mid-2000s with regular appearances on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Bargatze was featured on Jimmy Fallon's Clean Cut Comedy Tour 2013, three years after he was named “New York's Funniest Stand-Up” at the New York Comedy Festival. Since then, Bargatze has been selling out arenas on solo tours and in support of comedy icons like Chris Rock. Bargatze’s signature deadpan delivery was showcased in his 2021 Netflix special, The Greatest Average American, which earned a Grammy Award nomination for the coinciding comedy album. His 2023 Amazon Prime special Nate Bargatze: Hello World became the most-streamed original comedy special debut in Prime history — with 2.9 million viewers in its first 28 days — culminating in Bargatze breaking the attendance record for Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. Bargatze hosted “Saturday Night Live” for the second time in fall 2024 and also co-produced a holiday variety special titled “Nate Bargatze’s Nashville Christmas” with Lorne Michaels. In May 2025, Bargatze published his highly-anticipated first book, Big Dumb Eyes: Stories From A Simpler Mind, which became an instant New York Times bestseller. Coming up for 2026, Bargatze will host his new comedy game show, The Greatest Average American, which premieres on February 25 on ABC and Hulu, and will star in the family-friendly comedy film, The Breadwinner, which is scheduled to be released on March 13.

Really loved the new material and the retelling of the old stuff during the “encore”. Had a great time
This show was hilarious!! We splurged and got orchestra tickets...so worth it!!
i honestly laughed throughout the entire show, so much my face hurt from laughing so much! Nate is the type of person you just want to hang out with, heck share have a bbq to remind you and/or to find the funny in your life.
Nate is appealing to the masses because of his ability to story-tell in a way that is hilarious without the need for profanity (and I do not mind profanity, I just noticed he doesn't use it). So hilarious! Laughing throughout the whole show! Friend that accompanied me is now a HUGE fan! One of the best comedians because he KEEPS you laughing the ENTIRE time. No downtime--he's perfected his craft! BRAVO! I was also pleasantly surprised that it was all new material I hadn't yet heard!
I loved this show We left with our faces hurting from laughing so hard. Perfect for the whole family
The whole show was enjoyable. I was laughing continuously. I’d definitely go again.
Nate did not disappoint. My face was sore from laughing by the end of the night. My favorite comedian by far. If you have the chance to see him in person, do it!
This was our first date night in a year, and man it did NOT disappoint!! Nate and his father were both awesome and very interactive with the audience. Anyone who is a parent can relate to Nate's act, 100%. We had a great night out and will definitely see Nate again when he's in town. The show is highly recommended.
Nate was awesome!! I purchased the VIP package for my wife for Christmas, and what a gift! Thanks to Nate and his dad for putting on such a tremendous heartfelt show! Also absolutely zero swearing in this show, which really makes it an enjoyable time for the whole family! Thanks Nate!
Nate Bargatze is so funny. It was a great show and the opener set a good tone for it. I would definitely recommend.
Nate was hilarious. Venue was awesome. Had a great time.
When 7 PM came and went, I was surprised to see so many empty seats. Obviously, everyone but me knew the show would not begin at the announced time. Aside from that, the opening act was quite funny and Nate was non-stop laughter. He has such a way of making ordinary life events extremely humorous, all with a straight face. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening.
Absolutely loved Nate's special on Netflix and when we saw he was going to be in town, we HAD to go. He did not disappoint, I had tears from laughing so hard. His dead pan delivery is the best. We also love that he is a CLEAN comic, no cussing, no sex talk, completely family friendly. The opening comedian was great also. Thanks for a great show!
Great show. Nate and jay were hilarious. Enjoyed every minute.
Super great show, funny and relatable would definitely recommend and can’t wait to go to another show!
This was our second time seeing Nate. He is super funny! We had a great time and really enjoyed his dad performing. I see why Nate is funny now. Can't wait to catch another show.
I've been a fan of Nate Bargatze since I saw his Netflix special, "The Tennessee Kid'. I live in Nashville, and couldn't believe I hadn't heard of him before that. Well as soon as I saw that special, I searched out all of his other shows and recordings. He has quickly become one of, if not, my favorite comedian out there right now. I was excited to see this latest "Good Problem to Have" tour announced. I was looking forward to hearing any new material. He did not disappoint. My daughter and I were laughing and elbowing each other the entire time. We were able to purchase VIP Meet and Greet tickets. Let me tell you, not only is Nate one of the funniest guys out there, but he is also one of the nicest as well. He took his time to politely meet and thank everyone in that meet and greet queue. He also posed for pics, and enthusiastically signed a vinyl I brought of his "The Tennessee Kid" special. I will definitely be seeing any show of his I can possibly attend. I would recommend that if you haven't been to one of his shows yet, that you make it a priority. Also, BE SURE to check out his comedy special, "The Tennessee Kid" on Netflix. Don't wait!
Definitely worth the purchase! This was my first time at a stand up comedy show and Nate didn’t disappoint. I didn’t expect at all to see his dad there doing magic tricks as well. Definitely cute and a fun experience! I’d go again.
Nate was as funny as ever in his show. The real icing on the cake was when his dad performed a mini skit. Brought me to tears from laughing so hard. Also brought me to tears as his dad exited the stage and said thanks for loving my son. Emotional and powerful. What a wonderful date night for me and my husband. We will for sure be looking for Nate‘s comedy skits coming to Knoxville again in the future!
very funny show good comedy without the foul mouth would see him again
