About

British pop singer Natasha Bedingfield knows how to craft a song. Her debut album Unwritten went triple platinum in the UK and contained three UK top 10 singles. “Single” and “Unwritten” rose to the top 10 while “These Words” rocketed straight to No. 1. In concert, Bedingfield is a tremendous, passionate artist who gives amazing performances and leaves everything onstage, ensuring that ticket holders are never disappointed. Her connection with the audience can be felt as much as it can be heard in the songs on “Live in New York City” from her 2007 tour. Bedingfield’s most recent album Strip Me Away in 2011 debuted at No. 103 on the Billboard 200.

Music has always been a facet of Bedingfield’s life as she and her siblings formed The DNA Algorithm as teens, with Bedingfield as the vocals. Bedingfield’s career began with recording demos in garages and writing songs for the Hillsong London Church. It wasn’t until 2003 that Bedingfield signed with Phonogenic Records and released her first album Unwritten, which debuted at No.1 on the UK Albums Chart, in 2004. Since bursting onto the scene in 2004, Bedingfield’s has released four more albums; Pocket Full of Sunshine, Strip Me, N.B. and Strip Me Away. Bedingfield has garnered multiple award nominations since her debut, and has also won a fair share of awards, such as the Capital FM Award’s Best Newcomer award in 2005 and Best Pop Artist for the BRIT Digital Music Awards in 2007. While Bedingfield has no tour planned yet, fans can be hopeful as she has announced an album for 2014.

    Natasha Bedingfield was fantastic

by Boopstr on 6/15/11Birchmere - Alexandria

My husband and I really enjoyed Natasha Bedingfield's concert at the Berkshire in Alexandria, VA . The acoustics are great and the atmosphere is so laid back. The two opening acts were great also.

    Natasha Rocks!

by Weeail on 6/15/11Birchmere - Alexandria

Excellent concert. Andy Grammer was fantastic, what an entertainer, so friendly, he really appreciates his fans. Kate Vogel played after Andy Grammer, she has a great voice. Natasha was awesome, it was great to see her perform in a venue like the Birchmere where you can actually see her up close instead of having to watch a TV screen.

    Simply Amazing

by pacfrog on 6/14/11Birchmere - Alexandria

I didn't have much anticipation going into this concert, as I mainly went for a friend. I slap myself now for saying this because I seriously had no idea how AMAZING Natasha is and she definitely has a fan in me now. I am not sure people really realize her vocal range and how really good she is. Yes, we know her from her infamous pop songs that have been featured on popular tv shows, but seeing her up close, live and personal, I was truely enamoured. I immediately bought her cd and....hee hee her tshirt. Her shirts are pretty fly and so cute, not that boxy, men shirt with an artists face on the cover. She is definitely a rockin chick and I think this new cd of hers really brings her talent into full focus. I only hope people give her the chance to blow them away, like I did.

we didn't really know what to expect from an artist who primarily gained fame and recognition through a couple of "poppy" radio hits and playtime on The Hills. Have to say that we were pleasantly surprised and blown away.

NATASHA BEDINGFIELD IN CONCERT IS A POWERHOUSE

by EchiMusic on 6/11/11IRVING PLAZA - New York

Last night I went to see NATASHA BEDINGFIELD in concert at Irving Plaza, in New York City. It was my second time seeing her in concert. She was beyond wonderful. She was warm, and happy on stage doing lot's of story telling to the crowd. In between songs & talking, she did fun ablibed acapella 30 second covers of Nelly "Hot In Here", Beyonce's "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It), and even Britney Spears "Hold It Against Me" (better than BS's version). Natasha also did a really good cover of The Police's classic "Message In A Bottle" that had the whole crowd sending out a SOS to the world. That's not all, she also did a great live cover of Prince's "Purple Rain" that got her a standing ovation. It was a big highlight of the night. She also had special guest Kevin Rudolf sing "All I Need" with her (their duet is featured on Natasha's "Strip Me" CD). It was great how she sang not only new tracks from her new cd "Strip Me', but tracks from her album catalog. She pleased everyone singing all her greatest hits single's like "Angel","These Words","Singe","Soulmate","Love Like This","Pocketfull Of Sunshine", and "Unritten". The one continous highlight of concert/show was Natasha's live vocals. Her vocals were amazing. I couldn't believe how she kept hitting all those high notes with such ease. She sings like it's as easy as talking. Her voice is in such great shape that not even Whitney Houston can match up to her now. Yes that's how strong & powerful her voice is. I loved the show, and now I can't wait to see her again. I own over 100 Natasha Bedingfield worldwide cd's, and now I love her music even more. I also would like to add that her band was just as great especially her background vocalist Jes (I hope I got her name right). Jes's vocal's blended perfectly with Natasha's vocals. I hope Natasha keep's her for year's to come. Thanks Natasha for a great night, and thanks for singing your heart out for NYC. Loved it. LOVE YA !!!!

Natasha Bedingfield's voice is amazing live!

by ExoticMunchi on 6/11/11Somerville Theatre - Somerville

Natasha has such a great voice. I was surprised by her range. She's quite funny and interacted with the audience. She's very down to earth. Her tour guitarist, Luka Campaner, is equally as amazing. Honestly, the venue was rather small (so it was intimate). The sound quality wasn't spectacular (not her fault), but Natasha and her band rocked the place.

What a strong voice she has!

by Astroismydog on 6/11/11Somerville Theatre - Somerville

Natasha sang a lot of newer, less popular songs than what she became known for and also other artists' songs. That being said, she can still sing with the best of them! Her version of Prince's, "Purple Rain" rocked. Lot of fun all around!

    Natasha was fantastic!

by Bleacher on 6/10/11Somerville Theatre - Somerville

Natasha performed for almost two hours. Hearing her live revealed how versatile and powerful her voice is, as well as her mastery of music and her great rhythmic sense. Knowing that she writes most of the beautiful songs she performs is always impressive, although she also did great covers of Message in a Bottle and Purple Rain. She also had a great connection to the audience, talking to us and being very open. What a great talent, embodied in a warm, down-to-earth person.

such a rock star. Talented, and very hot too! she did stripped down version of a couple of her songs and spiced a few others up. She did a couple classics as well and killed it like Purple Rain. She's amazing

    Natasha was awesome

by kennywheels on 6/10/11Somerville Theatre - Somerville

IT was a very awesome show, all 3 performers were very amazing. I really liked seeing a show at this theatre it is a small enough venue that all seats are great for viewing the stage and big enough for the crown to really be felt. I felt that the price was good too. $21. they also had a bar and the prices were good too, $5 for a pint(16oz)

Natasha Bedingfield @ Somerville Theatre 4/8/11

by Bcrzylkme on 6/10/11Somerville Theatre - Somerville

I'll start with the venue being an absolutely charming old theatre with very good acoustics making for a marvelously intimate setting for a show, not a bad seat in the house. Natasha Bedingfield; what can I say, she was amazing. Very personable with the audience and when it comes to singing she is in a class of her own! She can belt out a tune to get the crowd going or sign a nice soft melody that really is music to the ears. Some of the show was with the band playing and some was acoustic with only a guitar accompanying her, which was very special as you really got to see just how great a voice Natasha has. I'll definately be looking to see her again the next time she comes to the area.

This concert will easily be the best I will see!!!

by DoctorEmu on 6/10/11Somerville Theatre - Somerville

This concert was incredible! The openers were great and reacted with the crowd. I had never really listened to either before the show, and ended up loving them, especially Kate Voegele. Then Natasha came out on stage and put on an amazing performance. New songs, old songs, a cover or two, her conversation with the crowd, whatever she did, it was incredible. It's all you could hope for from a concert and more. Then after the concert, both Natasha and Kate Voegele were in the lobby talking with fans, taking pictures, signing autographs, and more. Both performers stayed and made sure all fans were happy before leaving. Kate even got a box of her new CDs for fans who were waiting to buy copies to have her sign! All in all, this is easily the best concert I have been to, and will ever see. If there are tickets for a show near you, be sure to grab them and get ready for an amazing time!

Natasha had two great opening bands...though I did not catch their name. The crowd was cheering tooo loud. Somerville Theater was a great place to experience these bands. It was a small venue and very intimate. Well worth the price! She did a great cover of "Purple Rain" and a few other songs. I was quite impressed.
