About

British pop singer Natasha Bedingfield knows how to craft a song. Her debut album Unwritten went triple platinum in the UK and contained three UK top 10 singles. “Single” and “Unwritten” rose to the top 10 while “These Words” rocketed straight to No. 1. In concert, Bedingfield is a tremendous, passionate artist who gives amazing performances and leaves everything onstage, ensuring that ticket holders are never disappointed. Her connection with the audience can be felt as much as it can be heard in the songs on “Live in New York City” from her 2007 tour. Bedingfield’s most recent album Strip Me Away in 2011 debuted at No. 103 on the Billboard 200.

Music has always been a facet of Bedingfield’s life as she and her siblings formed The DNA Algorithm as teens, with Bedingfield as the vocals. Bedingfield’s career began with recording demos in garages and writing songs for the Hillsong London Church. It wasn’t until 2003 that Bedingfield signed with Phonogenic Records and released her first album Unwritten, which debuted at No.1 on the UK Albums Chart, in 2004. Since bursting onto the scene in 2004, Bedingfield’s has released four more albums; Pocket Full of Sunshine, Strip Me, N.B. and Strip Me Away. Bedingfield has garnered multiple award nominations since her debut, and has also won a fair share of awards, such as the Capital FM Award’s Best Newcomer award in 2005 and Best Pop Artist for the BRIT Digital Music Awards in 2007. While Bedingfield has no tour planned yet, fans can be hopeful as she has announced an album for 2014.

    Natasha Bedingfield... Ineffable

by Skellington8 on 9/6/11Culture Room - Ft Lauderdale

This had to be one of the best concerts that I have ever been to... And I have been to many. At first I was not sure if it would be really good... I was also worried that it would be a short concert. It wasn't short at all, she sang almost all of her songs and some other songs that had everyone singing. Natasha was incredible... amazing voice, awesome persona and there was such a great ambiance. She had us singing, laughing, jumping and screaming the whole time. Never a dull moment. I would definitely go to another one of her concerts, and I will have to drag all of my friends along because it is something not worth missing.

The opening act of Andy Grammar was good. Kate was not. But Natasha Bedingfield was awesome! She really can sing and knows how to engage the crowd. Her songs are inspiring!

    Natasha was great

by MusicsLoverForEver on 8/5/11Culture Room - Ft Lauderdale

before she showed up, we were already tired by listening the other 2 people, on feet. Andy Grammer was fun to watch, I cannot say the same thing for the other lady, I guess her name was Kate... Sorry if I was wrong. However, when she showed up, I totally forgot how tired I got while waiting for 2 hours for her to show up. Her performance was awesome, Her guitarist, Luca Campaner, he was amazing. amazing. amazing.

    Kate Voegele is a Star!

by martinigrli on 7/19/11Culture Room - Ft Lauderdale

Kate Voegele was the highlight for me- the reason I went, though. I have seen her perform 4 times now (3 times in Boston, once here in FL) and she never disappoints. She has a great live presence, connects well with her fans, sings beautifully and powerfully live, and always chooses great set lists. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Natasha Bedingfield was fun, too. She played some of her songs and some covers.

    Show had so much energy!

by NatashaBFan85 on 7/19/11Culture Room - Ft Lauderdale

Natasha Bedingfield's performance was fabulous! She sounded great live and had a good set with a large amount of songs. You can tell she is into her performing and loves what she does. She brought so much energy to the stage! Since it was a small venue, I felt the concert was more up close and personal and I liked that she interacted with the fans. The opening acts were good too and it was amazing when everyone came out at the end and did a big finale since it was the last concert on the tour. The only thing complaint I have is that the show was supposed to start at 8:00 and we weren't even allowed into the venue till almost 9. After the opening acts, it was around 11:00 before the main show even started. I know myself and most of the people around me were getting tired of standing and being cramped in the space, especially after the extra wait outside. That aside, great performance and I would definitely go see Natasha in concert again! :)

    Amazing!!

by MarcPuertoRico on 7/18/11Culture Room - Fort Lauderdale

The two opening acts (Andy Grammer and Kate Voegele) who I had never seen or heard before were both excellent as was Natasha herself. The two hour show was incredible! Natasha's voice was amazing and she gave the public a nice mix of the popular songs (Pocketful of Sunshine, Unwritten, These Words), the hidden gems (Strip Me, Angel), some nice surprises (Purple Rain, Smooth Operator) and material from her latest CD. Also, she was humble and sweet towards the crowd and her band (her background singer Jess was INCREDIBLE!). This was the last show of her tour so definitely try to catch her the next time she comes to the US!!!!!

    'Tasha rocks!

by kpm1123 on 7/18/11Culture Room - Ft Lauderdale

To say I've been to a lot of concerts is an understatement. I'm usually leaning more on the rock side when it comes to concerts I attend, I'm used to moshpits and headbanging..But I truly believed Natasha was one of the best of our generation so I decided to give it a go. Boy am I glad I did. She has as much stage presence as I have EVER seen. It was the last night of the entire tour, so they went all out. Natasha has this certain human-ness about her. What you see is what you get. Her voice is flawless, unique, and powerful. She gave me goosebumps with every note she hit. She performed her biggest hits from Unwritten, to Single. She added a little flair to every song, switching it up every now and then. She was crowd interactive, danced around, and she even covered a few neat songs like Purple Rain and Smooth Operator. Her band was just as flawless and together, the show felt so intimate that I felt like I was interrupting a band practice. Natasha is beautiful and talented inside out. She's the definition of raw talent, and she's far too underrated. I will definitely see her again if she comes back to Florida. I also have to give props to the venue. Although the show started late and they took forever to get us inside...The place was incredible for an intimate concert, they quickly set up between performances, it was cool and comfortable despite the crowd, the small bar inside allowed for easy access to refreshments and drinks, and it was overall pretty pleasant, time aside.

    A Fun Time!

by Codes on 7/18/11Culture Room - Ft Lauderdale

I had a great time and met some cool and interesting people. Andy and Kate were great opening acts. Andy had some cool beat boxing and Kate's voice is incredible. Now to Natasha, she is dazzling. She sang like 30 songs! She went hard and gave every ounce of energy that she could. I was surprised her throat didn't explode. I also loved her little hand movements and dance. She is a fantastic performer!

    Natasha Bedingfield was awesome!

by PleasantlySurprised758942 on 7/18/11Culture Room - Ft Lauderdale

Natasha is beautiful, charming and dynamic. Her performance was filled with the ups and downs an audience hopes for...sweet love songs to crazy, rockin' dance songs. She had an intimate "acoustic" series of songs right in the middle of her set. She kept us fully engaged and entertained the whole time. Opening acts, Andy Grammer and Kate Voegle were great as well. There were no disappointing parts to this show at all.
