by Frosty Frost on 3/23/19Tennessee Theatre - KnoxvilleThe ballet, the music, the story, all riveting. I never had the patience to study Shakespeare so that I could comprehend what I was reading. This ballet clearly demonstrated the story. I hope it goes to NYC so that my daughter can see it.

The poetry, music, and dance were all exquisite and blended together to create a meaningful narrative about race, beauty, self-acceptance, and so much more. I wish I could see it again as there are so many layers to be absorbed. I feel like I only experienced a quarter of what there was available. It was a magical evening.
