Absolute banger from start to end.
by xHx on 5/29/25Baltimore Soundstage - BaltimoreRating: 5 out of 5Incredible lineup. The first 4 bands(Out To Destroy, Doubt, Mugger, Enforced(crossover thrash)) were underground hardcore, and they showed no mercy. Opening with Out To Destroy is a wild move. The middle bands(Spirit World, Soul Blind, Drug Church) were less for moshing and more sing along. Drug Church and Spirit World were very good at engaging the crowd and were an all around fun time. The moment Incendiary came on though, people went nuts. Even without being particularly familiar with the band, I had the time of my life. It was a good choice booking Soundstage because it allows stagediving and crowdsurfing, which was happening pretty frequently by that point. Terror was even more chaotic, as that was the band that a significant portion of the crowd came for. Terror put on a hell of a show. Nails, the main headliner, was very energetic and played an absolutely brutal set. Most of the crowd was too tired to mosh or jump around by that point though, after such an intense lineup of bands, and many of the Terror fans left before Nails came on. Before each song, Todd, the Nails vocalist and former Terror guitarist, said "THIS SONG GOES OUT TO F***ING TERROR!"When their set ended Todd Jones stayed around the front of the stage to talk to fans and take pictures and whatnot. He was very humble and friendly. Over all it was a terrific experience, and if anyone has the opportunity to see ANY of the bands again, I would highly recommend it as every band at this show was incredible in their own right. As for the venue, Baltimore Soundstage is a great place for fests like these, as it has a large open dance floor, and no barrier in front of the stage. The only downside is that there are no chairs available anywhere unless you reserve them beforehand, so you have to sit on the floor to take a rest between sets and sometimes people look at you strange for doing that.
