THE SHOWS WERE EXCELLENT BUT COULD WE HAVE ROCK, BRATS AND BEER INSIDE NEXT TIME? FREEZING RAIN IN OCTOBERS NO FUN. THE ONLY OTHER THING THAT WAS RATHER ANNOYING WAS BRET COMING OUT 45 MIN LATER AFTER GREAT WHITE..WE WERE ALREADY ICE CUBES, WHY DELAY THE SHOW? NEXT YEAR DO ROCK BRATS AND BEER INDOORS PLEASE, WE WILL ALL BE HAPPIER. ---[
I was very excited for the show, but it ended up raining. Made it through Great White, but forced to go inside by the rain, for Brett Michaels. Great venue, I love Mystic Lake. But uncontrollable factors took over and I only got to see one band, and was physically sick on Monday because of it. Got a free Mystic Lake Beanie, for installing their app, though.
The beer and brats were awesome. The weather sucked. Minnesota in October... should have moved it inside, so we missed bret Michaels. The slideshow was fun.
Pros: price of tickets and stage set high for a good view. Cons: Outside in October (cold and rainy), very late start times (no band started on time, some at least an hour late!), price of beer, no chairs can be brought in (hard on feet to stand that long on pavement and considering the late start times), 2-day event (could have been condensed to 1 day).
May have rained but Bret and Jack were still the best!!!
U had to scan tickets to get in and out. Never checked id for drinking. Said no umbrella then they did at the last minute. It rained on sat no where to stay dry
40 degrees and rained and down poured the whole time. Brett Michaels was a trooper but Mystic who held the venue SUCKED. The least they could of done was put up a tent and offered something warm to drink. If you can make $8 off a drink why not offer coffee so Baileys could of been put in it and you would of made a killing. When it is windy, COLD, and Raining and you knew it all day. You could of did something to help out the paid customers and the band Members. THey had even took down all their equipment because they thought it would be canceled and then had to put it all back up because Mystic refused to cancel unless there was lightening. WHAT A JOKE
Didn’t go due to the rain, wasn’t worth me or my husband getting sick.
Dokken sounded great, talked about personal experiences would go see again. Dee Snider wanted to see him with the original band growing up, but still awesome listening to him, nice to see 2 great bands play hope they come back next year
Grew up listening to Dokken and Twisted Sister.....Dokken one of my all time favorite bands I will see again and again as long as they keep playing, sounded good. Dee Snider sounded great! These guys are older now, do they sound like they did in the eighties?.....no, but are they still out there doing shows for us aging fans?....yes!!!! These shows keep us young, we should appreciate what they do for us by coming out and still performing! The high point of the night, ran into Don in the casino and got to take a picture with him, thanks Don! Can't wait till they come back!
I took my wife who is not a fan of the kind of music but i can tell you she had a really good time!! Dokken was great and Dee Snider is ageless!
30 minutes of the 3 hours was actually about fantasy football. The prizes and food voucher made up for the ticket cost.
