Good show
Cadillac Palace - Chicago
I really enjoyed the show. It was hard to understand the characters at times because when they used their accents you couldn’t quite understand them further back. It seems the people up closer could understand better. I think the scene with the father and all the tavern scenes were too long and not necessary to the story. I would have liked to have seen her “learning” story more as it could have been funny.

My Fair Lady was great!
Cadillac Palace - Chicago
We loved the beautiful costumes, dynamic staging and extraordinary music. The singers, especially the gentleman playing Henry Higgins did a wonderful job! It was exactly what we were hoping to see. We appreciated that the production stayed mostly "true" to the source material. The only thing that was a bit of a let down was at the end. Eliza walked out on Henry Higgins.

My Fair Lady
Cadillac Palace - Chicago
My teenage grandson and I attended and sat in the uppermost "nosebleed" seats...highest tier, against the back wall. The vantage point was good, however we should have brought our binoculars. The bigger concern for us, though, was the acoustics. We could not understand the dialogue due to a subtle echo that seemed to be bouncing about. The singing and orchestral ensemble music was fine, but the dialogue was difficult to decipher. Good thing I already knew the play well and could explain what was going on to my grandson.

Cadillac Palace - Chicago
The play was great. Good performers, beautiful older theater. Our date and time was "rescheduled " and I didn't notice. No reason given; got email but didn't look at it till too late. They did find us seats as we went our originally scheduled date and time. It was not sold out. No reason given at box office why they changed me to a different date. All worked out ok.

Cadillac Palace - Chicago
There's nothing better than a show staying true to the movie. The song interpretation was on point. It was just "lovely".

Cadillac Palace - Chicago
Great great show highly recommend the show and the Cadillac palace theater location!! Great singing and showmanship! This was my second time watching the show - the first at New York and second at Chicago Unfortunately I have to say Alfred Doolittle actor in Chicago was really not a good fit for the role - the actor in new york was tremendously entertaining
From Lincoln Center Theater that brought you The King & I and South Pacific, comes "a sumptuous new production of the most perfect musical of all time" (Entertainment Weekly), Lerner & Loewe's MY FAIR LADY. Director Bartlett Sher's glowing production is "thrilling, glorious and better than it ever was" (New York Times). "Every so often a revival comes along that reminds you how indispensable great theater can be" (NY1).
Boasting such classic songs as "I Could Have Danced All Night," "The Rain in Spain," "Wouldn't It Be Loverly" and "On the Street Where You Live," MY FAIR LADY tells the story of Eliza Doolittle, a young Cockney flower seller, and Henry Higgins, a linguistics professor who is determined to transform her into his idea of a "proper lady." But who is really being transformed?!
