About

My Chemical Romance are a rock band composed of lead vocalist Gerard Way, bassist Mikey Way and guitarists Ray Toro and Frank Iero. Formed in 2001 in New Jersey, MCR have become highly influential for their blend of rock, pop-punk and emo music along with unflinchingly open lyrics and theatrical live performances. Beginning with 2002’s I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love, MCR have released four studio albums, two live recordings and three compilations. The band unveiled their major label debut, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, in 2004 behind their first charting singles, “I'm Not Okay (I Promise),” “Helena” and “The Ghost of You.” In 2006, MCR’s third album The Black Parade reached a career-high No. 2 on the Billboard 200, while lead single “Welcome to the Black Parade” peaked at No. 9 on the Hot 100. After touring 2010’s Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, MCR did not perform together again until 2019, followed by a reunion world tour between 2022 and 2023. The band headlined Las Vegas’ When We Were Young Festival in 2024. In 2025, My Chemical Romance embarked on a tour in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their landmark third studio album, The Black Parade.

  • Great Show - acoustically a bit challenged

by RJ on 8/25/25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

This wasn’t a concert, it was a show! Great hearing and seeing the Black Parade. I’ve never seen an audience that engaged at a stadium show. If you get the chance to see the band….Go! Only improvement would be the acoustics in the stadium. Tough to get it right in such a big stadium. However, it didn’t take away from a fantastic event!

  • THRILLS. CHILLS, no SPILLS!

by AL on 8/25/25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

ABSOLUTELY loved the Black Parade half of the show - full of energy - i laughed, i cried, loved every second! Loved the Cello segway - far too many people around us didn't give her the respect she deserved. Stage 2 part was fun! All round good time was had by all!

  • Only issue is that it ended

by Trin on 8/25/25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Wish it could’ve gone on forever. Organized venue and super awesome concert. Would see them 6 more times if I could

  • Wish I could attend everyday!!!

by Alecks on 8/25/25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Wish I could attend everyday!! It was my first time to see them live and I would love to do it again. My 12-year-old self would definitely be sooooo happy.

  • MCR better than ever

by Crispy on 8/25/25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

As good as the theatrics are for the Black Parade - the B stage close and personal set was “hit after hit” intense. 1500 out of 10 performance! They have gravitated to the next generation of fans as well as old ones. Awesome vibe!

  • MCR was amazing! Roger centre was not!

by asdf on 8/25/25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

The concert was amazing, MCR was great. But the sound quality at the Roger centre was absolutely awful

  • A Dream Come True

by Eon on 8/25/25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

This was my first concert and I have adored the band since I was seven. Spent about three hours afterwards going between crying — tears of joy, of course— and listening to the Black Parade album, obviously. Also, my voice has yet to heal. Some would say the concert left me speechless.

  • MCR: My Chemical Review

by Emily on 8/25/25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

My Chemical Romance put on an incredible live show! I loved that there was a B stage so that there was an opportunity to get up front and personal with the band if you weren’t able to make it up close to the main stage. The effects and sound were great. The water bottles for the pit crowd were definitely appreciated. I need to do this again!!!

  • So god damn good.

by GSykes on 8/25/25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

They left it all on the floor. Best concert of my life. Worth every penny.

  • Phenomenal

by Bb on 8/25/25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

One of the best live shows I’ve been to in the last few years. MCR was definitely on my bucket list to see and I wasn’t sure I would have the chance. Absolutely life changing show, I love them so much!

  • Single Greatest Concert Experience of My Life Ever!

by Rome on 8/25/25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The tickets were easy to purchase and everything about the event was well organized and straightforward. The show was incredible and can't wait to see these guys live again!

  • Where great music, storytelling, and a little cheese collide

by HDilemma on 8/25/25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

This concert is a rock opera and cultural mirror queued to pyrotechnics and punchy wails. I loved it. The set list was long and featured many favourite tracks from their discography; you get the mythos of The Black Parade and the New Jersey band of misfits on one event. And The Pixies! They were atmospheric, trippy and simply iconic.

  • Awesome show

by Elizabeth on 8/25/25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Went as a casual mcr fan, had an amazing time. They are really good live, whole experience was so chill and smooth

  • Marvelous

by Eli on 8/25/25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I flew 2,000 miles to see them after it being my dream for 10+ years, and boy did they deliver. The whole show was engaging and mind-blowing and the best concert I've ever been to.

  • Great concert, expensive tickets and concession

by Pete on 8/25/25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

First of all the concert was amazing, they put on a fantastic show. Tickets were super expensive

  • 10/10

by San on 8/25/25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

It was the best show of my god damn life. MCR forever

  • It was amazing

by Kenny boy on 8/25/25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Loved everything about had a good time really enjoy the vibe. It was a clean entry no problem at all. It was easy to find the gate for the entrance, but everything else was amazing. Love the vibe of the place.

  • Full Scale Production

by Jil on 8/25/25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

This was single-handedly one of the best experiences I’ve ever been able to experience. The theatrics, the imagery, the sound.. I may be a bit biased as a fan for 20 years but it was my first time seeing them live and I couldn’t have asked for a better show. Genuinely changed my life and I will be sure to catch them if they tour again.

  • A Ride to Nostalgia Drive

    by Christian B. on 8/25/25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

It was heartfelt experience seeing THE Band that made yo sing, hurt and dance in tunes back on wild teenage- rebellious days. It was definitely worth the wait and effort making it there and seeing them perform live on stage. A surreal experience that will stay in your memories forever <3

  • A show to remember

    by JessT89 on 8/25/25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

MCR put on a show like no other. Probably one of the best I've been to. 40,000 people singing along to their youth. In and ot of rogers center a breeze. No issues. A great venue
