About

My Chemical Romance are a rock band composed of lead vocalist Gerard Way, bassist Mikey Way and guitarists Ray Toro and Frank Iero. Formed in 2001 in New Jersey, MCR have become highly influential for their blend of rock, pop-punk and emo music along with unflinchingly open lyrics and theatrical live performances. Beginning with 2002’s I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love, MCR have released four studio albums, two live recordings and three compilations. The band unveiled their major label debut, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, in 2004 behind their first charting singles, “I'm Not Okay (I Promise),” “Helena” and “The Ghost of You.” In 2006, MCR’s third album The Black Parade reached a career-high No. 2 on the Billboard 200, while lead single “Welcome to the Black Parade” peaked at No. 9 on the Hot 100. After touring 2010’s Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, MCR did not perform together again until 2019, followed by a reunion world tour between 2022 and 2023. The band headlined Las Vegas’ When We Were Young Festival in 2024. In 2025, My Chemical Romance embarked on a tour in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their landmark third studio album, The Black Parade.

  • great show bad view

    by minionlover9 on 8/5/25Globe Life Field - ArlingtonRating: 3 out of 5

mcr put on a fantastic show and the sound was actually so amazing! the only bad thing was that our view of the stage was completely obstructed by a speaker when the ticket itself was not sold as obstructed view. the many screens around somewhat made up for it but it was still disappointing to not see the main stage.

  • Experience of a lifetime

    by M A Hern on 8/5/25Globe Life Field - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5

The concert was awesome. You need to see it in person, videos don't do it justice.

  • I should have spent more

by Emily on 8/5/25Globe Life Field - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Concert was absolutely incredible— everything I wanted it to be and more. 10000000/10. Only regret is not getting a seat on the floor by the main stages bc it would have been worth every second of queuing and every penny spent to be that close to such a fantastic show. Taking every ounce of willpower to not fly to a different city and buy tickets to see it again.

  • Best Stadium Show I've Ever Been to

by RC on 8/5/25Globe Life Field - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5

MCR put on the best stadium show I've ever attended, hands down. Signs directing concertgoers at the venue were clear and direct. Only issue was the insane merch lines but that was to be expected.

  • Amazing opportunity

by Syd on 8/5/25Globe Life Field - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5

I did not know you could review concerts but the concert was absolutely amazing. The sound was really good and every single one of them has amazing stage presence. I am biased because they are my favorite band but this was honestly the most immersive and entertaining concert I have ever been to. Especially with the theatrics that went with the (unfortunately relevant) storyline. The second act on B-stage when they are no longer in character and were just being My Chemical Romance was absolutely phenomenal and I loved the yapping between songs. Those were some of my favorite parts. I would love to see them again one day.

  • Amazing show, long merch lines…

by Eric V on 8/5/25Globe Life Field - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5

The concert was absolutely amazing. On stage theatrics were better than expected. The band as a whole seems to be more engaged with the audience than with the previous tour. The only downside were the long merch lines that spanned the entire stadium and took 2 hours. Overall I’d go again in a heartbeat.

  • Best concert of my life

by Mlo on 8/5/25Globe Life Field - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Best concert and experience!! It was a total theatrical show and Gerard sounds better than ever! The entire band is better than 15 years ago when I saw them. I would see them again and may do that. I would recommend everyone to see them!

  • Review is for Ticketmaster and Globe Life Field not MCR

by Monica on 8/5/25Globe Life Field - ArlingtonRating: 2 out of 5

The band was amazing but the venue changed seating last minute. I didn’t get to see most of the show. I think Ticketmaster could have been more transparent about the seating arrangement. What was shown on date of purchase was not the same as the actual venue layout. I spent so much money only to be disappointed. MCR put on an amazing show. I will see them again ONLY IF the venue is NOT Globe Life Field. Ticketmaster/Live Nation really need to stop using the venue all together. It is not ideal for concerts. They make more money off the larger venue but fans are left disappointed and hurt when they can’t see the artist due to seating and view obstruction.

  • Best show of my life!

by Absolutely INCREDIBLE on 8/5/25Globe Life Field - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5

My chemical romance is their best yet with incredible world building and storytelling through their music and performance. Then we got a genuine my Chen performance after The Black Parade with some incredible deep cuts off of Bullets, Conventional weapons and Black Parade B Sides. They selected a few specific songs to ply for each individual show that they don’t play anywhere else. was an incredible experience and am even more in love with them now!

  • Amazing band, poor venue

by Vannah on 8/5/25Globe Life Field - ArlingtonRating: 4 out of 5

As always, mcr is killer and no issues there, but the baseball stadium is a poor choice for concerts I'll be honest, really poor acoustics and some feed back issues. Lots of people had view obstructions. IDK who is in charge of picking venues but that's my only complaint, it didn't ruin it for me though, but I'm just being honest! Less baseball stadiums more music venues

  • Amazing, beautiful, wonderful

by Emilyly on 8/5/25Globe Life Field - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing 100000/10 would to it 1000 times again given the chance

  • INCREDIBLE!!!

by Brenna on 8/5/25Globe Life Field - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5

MCR has truly outdone themselves. Not only was the performance itself incredible, the story telling and the immersive universe they take you to made this the most unforgettable experience of my life.

  • Mind Blown

by RadMad on 8/5/25Globe Life Field - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Hands down the best show I’ve seen this year. MCR was phenomenal and glad my daughter got the chance to experience greatness. A story to pass on through the ages.

  • Best concert ever

by Jen on 8/5/25Globe Life Field - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5

The show was more than I expected. The only bad review i have is merch. 40k people and only 6 merch stands.

  • AMAZING

by Valerie on 8/5/25Globe Life Field - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5

The concert was absolutely amazing genuinely one of the best shows I’ve ever been to!!

  • The best show I’ve ever seen in my life.

by Leespeas on 8/5/25Globe Life Field - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Most of the staff at the stadium were knowledgeable and friendly! The show itself was the best thing I’ve ever seen- and I’ve been to hundreds of shows in my lifetime. I’ve been a fan for 21-22 years or something like that. So this was incredible.

  • Net up was the worst - Ticketmaster should have disclosed.

by Gutz on 8/5/25Globe Life Field - ArlingtonRating: 4 out of 5

Concert itself was great, no complaints on MCR. Venue was good, lots of food options, short lines for bathroom. Merch lines were of course ridiculous but that was expected. BUT Ticketmaster nor the venue disclosed that the view was obstructed. The net used for the baseball games was left up. Couldn’t take any pics or video because all you could see was the net. And all I could focus on was the net, was super annoying. Excuse was that the band didn’t request it to be taken down BUT it should be an automatic thing I believe for concerts. Why would you leave it up?! Ticketmaster should have disclosed this and I would have chosen different seats. It wasn’t just a small section that had the net, it was multiple sections all directly facing the stage. What should have been a perfect view for many was not.

  • MCR FOREVA!

by Deedonutcule on 8/5/25Globe Life Field - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5

the venue staff were kind. garbage was fantastic. my chemical romance absolutely killed it. i am still in awe! <3

  • Best Show I have Ever seen.

by Anya on 8/5/25Globe Life Field - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Quite possibly the best concert i’ve ever gone to. MCR puts on an AMAZING show. If you have the chance to see them PLEASE take it you will not regret it.

  • An unforgettable evening

by Lynz on 8/5/25Globe Life Field - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5

One of the best shows I've seen in years. I grew up listening to and watching MCR, and I've never seen them put on such a phenomenal and theatrical performance. Even though it was in a stadium, they still found a way to make the show feel intimate—like it was truly our own. They had exclusive merch for Texas and played unreleased songs. The post-concert depression is real!
