About

My Chemical Romance are a rock band composed of lead vocalist Gerard Way, bassist Mikey Way and guitarists Ray Toro and Frank Iero. Formed in 2001 in New Jersey, MCR have become highly influential for their blend of rock, pop-punk and emo music along with unflinchingly open lyrics and theatrical live performances. Beginning with 2002’s I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love, MCR have released four studio albums, two live recordings and three compilations. The band unveiled their major label debut, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, in 2004 behind their first charting singles, “I'm Not Okay (I Promise),” “Helena” and “The Ghost of You.” In 2006, MCR’s third album The Black Parade reached a career-high No. 2 on the Billboard 200, while lead single “Welcome to the Black Parade” peaked at No. 9 on the Hot 100. After touring 2010’s Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, MCR did not perform together again until 2019, followed by a reunion world tour between 2022 and 2023. The band headlined Las Vegas’ When We Were Young Festival in 2024. In 2025, My Chemical Romance embarked on a tour in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their landmark third studio album, The Black Parade.

by Austin on 9/23/25Rating: 5 out of 5

I saw MCR for the first time live in Philly this year. Absolutely amazing show. The music, the theatrics, and overall a must see experience. As a lifelong MCR fan, it definitely lived up to my expectations and can't wait to see them again!

  • Fantastic & Memorable

by SL on 9/21/25Oracle Park - San FranciscoRating: 4 out of 5

First time at the Oracle Arena. I know for future visits the importance of having more thicker layers to keep warm after sunset. The view was still great up in the nosebleeds and I was able to happily dance along to the set. Seeing MCR a second time was fulfilling and hearing my favorite track live will be a valued memory. I always appreciate the message behind their performance as it supports why I continue to listen to them. I look forward to future events!

    by Kaylee W on 9/19/25Rating: 5 out of 5

I don’t have the right words to express how much fun and impactful their concert was! I got to go with a couple friends and it was life changing! I really hope to attend another one soon. I just want to say thank you to the band as well as fellow fans for making this possible and sharing this experience with us all ❤️

  • Life changing

by Cami on 9/18/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

I loved this show so much. My best friend and I from all the way from New Orleans to see MCR. I have been a fan of their music since I was 9 years old in 2004. Life changing experience I honestly think I healed my inner child.

  • Thrilling!

    by girl2point0 on 9/18/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

Great story! Great music! The B stage was just like seeing them years ago. Epic night!!! A true joy!

  • Best show ever!

by Guy in Dad shirt on 9/18/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

The audience was top notch! An amazing group of diverse people! The atmosphere was electric! The band killed it (literally and figuratively). The merch line was too long and leaving was a nightmare. All to be expected.

  • MCR rocks

by JT on 9/18/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

The show was great I had seen them back in 2006/2007 when the Black Parade tour was going on and they were great and was exited to see them again. You can tell they have aged some, Gerard’s voice seems like has lost some range, or maybe it was because it’s towards the end of the tour and the Florida humidity got to him but even though he couldn’t hit the same notes from when I saw them last, the band and the crowd carried the show along. My 16 year old son, who had never seen them before said it was the best band he’s seen so far.

  • Best show ever

by Julie on 9/18/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

MCR 4 EVER 😭 What a great show, loved Evanessence and the guys were so good live. Worth fighting the Ticketmaster war.

  • Best Night Ever!!!

by Lane on 9/18/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 4 out of 5

Had the absolute best night of my life not including the hell of the early merch line. But other than that it was a life changing experience seeing those boys live.

  • Emotional Wreck

    by Thompsonlyfts89 on 9/18/25Rating: 5 out of 5

Saw them years ago as a teen. Now 36 and it was like I was back to my teenage self. One of theeee best concerts ever. Floor seats were worth it. Standing in line at 7am all day was worth it. Met new friends. Cried. Lost my voice. Worth it. 🤘🏼🤟🏼

  • Tears. Tears everywhere.

by AH on 9/17/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

Quite possible the greatest tour I have ever seen. The amount of effort and detail put into every second is so impressive. And the performance itself is beyond incredible. I swear they’ve only gotten better through the years. I feel like this is PEAK MCR and I’ve seen them a dozen times over the last 20 years.

  • BEST SHOW EVER

by anneth on 9/17/25Rating: 5 out of 5

OH MY GOD THIS WAS THE BEST CONCERT OF MY LIFE!!! I’ve been to many concerts and My Chemical Romance was the best concert I’ve ever been to. If you have the chance to see them I would highly recommend it.

  • Amazing

by Alex on 9/17/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

The show featured Evansence and MCR. Seeing both together were crazy and it was a very good show. MCR was jammed packed full of theatrics and skits. It was so fun watching it and particpating in them. The best show I've ever been too for sure. I am a bit biased though... Now to talk about the venue, it was Raymond James Stadium. It was a nightmare and very confusing. I felt that there were not enough staff to ask questions and I was very confused on what was going on. I had stood in a line not realizing I had been standing in the wrong line. Eventually I got to where I needed to go but the process took a while. Get there early for sure. I was there at the stadium at 4:30 (parking opened at 4) and the doors opened at 5:30 and I didn't sit settled down until around 6:10. Other than being confused, it was a great concert. Would recommend to friend

  • AMAZING! MCR was a dream come true!

by Ami on 9/17/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

Uff what can I say, My Chemical Romance was a whole experience and I enjoyed every second of it! The Raymond James Stadium in Tampa was ok. It was a bit disorganized and it was so humid and hot! But holy cow was it a fantastic concert! And Evanescence! WOW! Such a powerhouse. I recommend both of them wholeheartedly!

  • Top 5 concert

by Ash on 9/17/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

Easily up there in the ranking for one of the best concerts I've attended. MCR puts on a hell of a performance. I thought Three Cheers was my favorite album but this tour has me thinking its LONG LIVE THE BLACK PARADE
