Motown The Musical Tickets

This is my 2nd attendance. I took a group of friends in June 2013 and when I saw the Jan 20th show was on I said got to go back. Another group of friends came along. If the show will be on in NY around May or June 2014 I will be back. Every aspect reflected in there was done so well by the actors. Each played their role very well and gave a good reflection on the life of the key roles, Barry (Black); Diana (Black); Smokey, Stevie, Marvin, Rick, Jackson 5, Barry's siblings and all the others ... the stage scenes ... astronomical and how they flow so smoothly. Awesome Awesome Awesome production

The singing and dancing were great! The actors portrayed the various musicians as if you were watching the original artists.

I danced in my seat the entire time! Amazing! We had a great time!

there wasn;t much of a story to the show but there was a lot of music. the actors were very talented and everyone seemed to be tapping their toes throughout the show. my wife got particuarly nostalgic during one poignant moment and i know that she really enjoyed it. i had a good time as well.

Good story line and good performance but the seating is very tight which makes it impossible to really enjoy the show.

I really enjoyed the story, the music, the costumes. It was put together very nicely

Go see it to learn about musical history and the history of us all.

Great songs, little kid was great and plot was good

There was so much jam-packed great music in this show. Most of the music was very familiar, as it is what we grew up with. The background story was very interesting as well, in case you don't know the history of Motown. The performers were phenomenal and sounded just like the real people they were portraying; we never would have guessed that most of our leading cast was made up of understudies for that particular show. I am so glad we went to the show-we will never forget it!

I enjoyed Motown very much the performance was the best, so full of life and excitement. You will not be dissappointed in one of the best shows I have seen.

From start to finish the show was amazing - kept you dancing in your seats! Would recommend it for anyone - young or old!

Went to see the play and thought it was excellent! I'm definitely a fan of Motown music (although I'm only 25) but i learned alot from the show and what I already knew was historically accurate. This is my second broadway experience and everything you would have wanted from a show you got: -Great believeable storyline -Great Actors and Actresses - they definitely studied their characters and had their mimicked thier mannerisms very well -Great MUSIC (The actors and actresses voices didn't compare to the musicians they were portraying but they were good) -Great stage set up -Great Dancing!!!!

Grew up in the 50's and 60's loving Motown. This was a great production!!!

I emencely enjoyed this musical. My hubby got to sing with 'Diana Ross' ; who could ask for more! This was a after Christmas present to each other - best gift in a long time. Would LOVE to see it again!

Excellent. However, I was not impressed with the Diana Ross understudy.

Motown the musical is a wonderful event that every baby boomer and their children can enjoy. The play bought back memories of times lived. The audience applauded every song and the muscial groups were well represented. Having lived during the Motown years it was great to see the story behind the story. I recommended the play to everyone I met the following day.

I enjoyed all the old time memories. It was lots of fun.

Motown was great! Very entertaining. Love the music! You have to go see this play!

Upbeat show! FANTASTIC!! Would recommend, a MUST SEE show if u LOVE MOTOWN!!
