This was a great show. It was a lot fun! I would recommend this to anyone who wants to listen to some great Motown music. Loved the mix of Christmas music with Motown hits.

by ShibasRule on 12/9/12Akron Civic Theatre - AkronWe were anticipating this musical event. The sound mixing was terrible, with the band drowning out the singer's repeatedly. The sound did not have any warmth to it at all. The singer's voices were not in their best shape; however, their voices could have been assisted by a good sound person at the mixing board. When the show started, there was a bright white light shining on those of us in the audience for a good 15 minutes..for no apparent reason. Additionally, the audience members were using their cell phones while the show was in progress. Very disappointed in this event. It had great potential but was destroyed by the sound person at the mixing board. Additionally, the band appeared to be bored and not prepared to put on a performance.
