Overall it was a nice experience. We enjoyed the music, both instrumentally and vocally. However, it lacked a level of polishing that one would expect. We could tell during the non-Christmas sets that the potential was there, but we saw and heard repeated examples of a lack of rehearsal from the band and the singers.
This was a great show. It was a lot fun! I would recommend this to anyone who wants to listen to some great Motown music. Loved the mix of Christmas music with Motown hits.
We were anticipating this musical event. The sound mixing was terrible, with the band drowning out the singer's repeatedly. The sound did not have any warmth to it at all. The singer's voices were not in their best shape; however, their voices could have been assisted by a good sound person at the mixing board. When the show started, there was a bright white light shining on those of us in the audience for a good 15 minutes..for no apparent reason. Additionally, the audience members were using their cell phones while the show was in progress. Very disappointed in this event. It had great potential but was destroyed by the sound person at the mixing board. Additionally, the band appeared to be bored and not prepared to put on a performance.
Entertainers were great as were the musicians. Enjoyed the music variety. Very uplifting
