Mötley Crüe in Concert

After more than three decades of headbanging, heavy metal bad boys Mötley Crüe announced that 2015’s The Final Tour would be their last ever, giving fans one final opportunity to see Tommy Lee and company in the flesh before the curtain falls for good. The band has always been a revered live act for their showmanship and over-the-top performances, but their 2013 shows were their biggest and fieriest yet, featuring pyrotechnics beyond fans’ wildest dreams – including the late Nikki Sixx’s legendary flamethrower bass. With 72 North American dates in 2014 and international dates to follow, the Crüe are doing it big in true form, burning bright to the very last guitar solo.

Formed in LA in 1981 by guitarist Nikki Six and drummer Tommy Lee, Mötley Crüe was quickly rounded out with the addition of lead guitarist Mick Mars and singer Vince Neil. The band became notorious in the early ‘80s for their glam image and hard partying lifestyle, but it was 1983 sophomore album Shout at the Devil that made them international superstars. 1985’s Theatre of Pain and 1987’s Girls, Girls, Girls would prove even more successful, spawning ‘80s hard rock staples like “Smokin’ in the Boys Room” and “Home Sweet Home.” With 100 million albums sold worldwide, Mötley Crüe endures as one of the greatest heavy metal bands of all time, making their 2014 farewell tour a bittersweet last hurrah for their legions of fans.

Fans Who Bought Tickets Say

“Motley Crue still rules the rock scene after 30+ years of recording and performing. They played songs from virtually all albums and song selection was sure to please any Motley fan.”

“Motley ALWAYS delivers an amazing show. Seeing the Crue doing what they do best in Sin City couldn't have been any better. The pyro was over-the-top amazing.”

“This Motley Crue concert was the best Crue concert ever. The fire and pyros were awesome. They really outdid themselves. They sounded great too.”

Mötley Crüe on Tour

The world's most iconic and celebrated rock legends hit the road in the summer of 2020 for a coheadlining tour so massive that it could only be held in America's biggest stadiums. The Stadium Tour featuring Def Leppard, Mötley Crüe, with Poison and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts hit select cities in the U.S. where each band brings their electrifying stage shows while promising to perform their stadium sized anthems.

Following the huge success of their Netflix biopic "The Dirt," Mötley Crüe has seen a massive surge in new audience with fans around the world demanding the band tour again. This led to the band members reuniting and announcing that "Mötley Crüe is back". While "The Dirt" caused a meteoric 350% increase in streams of Mötley Crüe's music across all platforms and the younger 18-44 demographic now represents 64% of the band's fanbase most of the new fans have never seen any of the band's legendary live shows that Crüeheads have relished for close to four decades. Mötley Crüe is also celebrating the 30th Anniversary of their #1 charting, 7x Platinum album, "Dr. Feelgood" in 2019. Crue and Leppard put on a great show

    by RJ Sauzon on 8/22/23

The triple threat of Alice Cooper, Def Leppard, and Motley Crue put on a really great show. As an event it was really solid. Def Leppard was the tightest, musically. Sounded amazing. Motley Crue’s energy is still unmatched. Alice Cooper sounded great, but unfortunately we were unable to see him since the UTEP Special events staff had us waiting in the parking lot for a good hour before allowing us to enter.

    by RC on 8/22/23

Me and my friends thought Alice Cooper stole the show. His voice and band are Amazing. Def leppard was Fantastic as always. Motley Crue always puts on a great show ,but Vince’s voice is very rough Great night in El Paso once the sun went down.

No Parking, Seeing people getting towed.

    by Shrugs on 8/22/23

The fact that there was no parking available for those with disability that aren't able to walk in long distance; then on top of that there was what looked like chaos to get in. I witnessed multiple ambulances having to care for people that were not even in. My husband and I couldn't get in even with our tickets and now I'm left with nothing but what ifs and could ofs. Hope those that went in enjoyed after all though.

    Vince???

    by B’s on 8/22/23

Missed AC due to the rain. Caught DL for the first time - very impressed with their show on all levels. MC was a bit of a let down, started great, music was on point but after a few songs Vince was not great on vocals, really mumbly. Hitting the sauce?

The Sun Bowl featured way too many cash only food & beer vendor lines.

    Sun bowl 18th concert

    by Kd on 8/22/23

Event was a over whelming mess in el paso. Started way to early for the beer to be hot and then run out before motley played . If an event starts at 545 pm ....have that beer icing by 11 am ! Paying 10 bucks for nasty neer is not cool . Alos Have more staff to help people look for their sections as well as next event have separate areas for lines of all consession stands or gear purchases that way people have a path way to walk through to get to rest rooms instead of having to stand and smell everyone's funky breathe

Bands were awesome, not sure I'd ever go back to the venue

    by DanOinLA on 8/22/23

The bands were excellent. Alice Cooper gave the excellent show they always do, Def Leppard sounded great, and Motley was, well, Motley!. Plus as a bonus I got to see guitar god John 5! Downside: the venue didn't seem to be able to handle an event of this size as well as they should. Major issues: Parking, traffic, and insufficient vendors to meet the demand. It was my first time to the venue, and parking is very confusing. Took almost an hour to get parked. Some additional parking attendants and signs to assist would have been very helpful. And really, UTEP/and City of El Paso can't manage traffic any better than that? Come see how they do it in Albuquerque at the Pavilion. Not perfect, but WAY BETTER! After the show, getting back to the motel 7 miles away took over an hour. There were not enough vendors to handle the size of the crowds. Not unusual to stand in line 20-30 minutes to get a beer. On the bright side, prices weren't bad and a little better than other venues I visit regularly. Summary: Loved the bands, but not sure I'd ever go back to that venue.

    Worst venue ever

    by Jane on 8/21/23

The bands were excellent! However, the event was so disorganized. Had to search for the person who provides the wrist band to get to our floor section, for about 45 min. Had to stand in another line inside the venue to get said wrist band. After attending concerts for 35 years, first time I attend such an unorganized event.

    Alice Cooper still rocks!!!

by Darrell & Norma on 8/21/23

Sounds from side of stage was muddy. Vince Neil’s vocals were muted and washed out by all instruments many times. Could have done without the porn overload, but hey…it’s Crue. Crue’s music was on point, though. Same with Def Leppard. Music TOTALLY on point. However…Alice Cooper steals the show! Music on point, and theatrics that made us love him (and his wife). Best SHOW, since we saw Iron Maiden.

    Logistical nightmare

    by O.g. on 8/21/23

UTEP did not have an efficient plan for entry into the stadium. No advance notice of logging on to a specific wifi signal to download tickets to enter. Terrible lines (to enter stadium and at concessions) due to inadequate staffing.

A Cooper, Def Leopard and Motley Crue

    by Mrs. Z on 8/21/23

3 acts were great overall. Loved the old classics, outfits and on time appearances! Some sound issues with the last band but we thoroughly enjoyed it! I rated 4 stars due to concession stand wait times and dirty bathrooms. With that many attendees proper planning and scheduling shouldn’t have been an issue.

    Great concert

    by Ali on 8/21/23

Overall a great time! Vince struggles a little bit but I didn’t bother me I know what to expect, other than that the Crüe sounds good! I wish Mick was there but his replacement can play. I saw other reviews that the 2 dancers get shown a lot on screen which they do but I didn’t bother me, they can move! I wish I would’ve gotten floor seats
