  • Great Concert!

by JohnBella on 8/21/23Rating: 5 out of 5

The concert was a success. The only thing I would improve is the VIP experience for customers. Maybe be a bit more organized and have a special section for those individuals to check In as well as to purchase memorabilia and food. The VIP section was not visible and I was standing for hours on the general admission line.

  • BEYOND AMAZING!

by Monday on 8/21/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Show was so good! It was beyond amazing! I’ve heard of both of those bands but truth be told, I really never listened to their music because I thought it was a little too hard rock for me, I kinda like the soul/ disco sounds. But these bands were AWESOME! Great stage presence, great music, awesome energy! I loved it!

  • The Crüe

by Jim on 8/21/23Rating: 5 out of 5

#5 and Tommy rocked the show. They were awesome. Vince could be better. Great show would see again. Till next time Crüe.

  • Awesome

by Alex Morales on 8/21/23Rating: 5 out of 5

This show lived up to the expectations, they are a great rock band!

  • Not the best, not the worst

by Sergio on 8/21/23Rating: 3 out of 5

what was good? -Alice Cooper and Def Leppard What to improve? -Sound, I could not listen the signer at all -Logistic, took almost 1 hour to get in the stadium

  • Def Leppard stole the show

by Serge on 8/21/23Rating: 3 out of 5

Def Leppard stole the show! Their sound was crisp and clear, unlike Motley’s. Alice Cooper did great as well, Nita Strauss is a beast! Hope her heat exhaustion wasn’t too bad.

  • Not the best.

by Poppins on 8/21/23Rating: 2 out of 5

I feel the acoustics were horrible. It felt like the words and music were not in sync. The bleachers were horribly uncomfortable. The show lacked the quality of what I’ve come to expect from 2 great bands. Sorry I wanted to be truthful.

  • Terrible sound

    by RockinHockey69 on 8/21/23Rating: 3 out of 5

The sound was way off and you could barely hear Vince Neil’s vocals. Also the camera crew seemed obsessed with just showing the scantily-clad girls, which I didn’t mind. However, it would have been nice to see close footage of Tommy Lee and John 5. Def Leppard’s sound and performance was much better.

  • The concert was great - venue was not

by Kala on 8/21/23Rating: 3 out of 5

The bands were GREAT! I had no issues with the performance. It was the venue that seemed seriously unorganized. It took an hour to get in even though we were late - seemed like everyone was late. Then, all of the lines for any type of concession were 45-1hr wait for just water. People were passing out because of the heat and lack of water stations. I’m not sure if there just wasn’t enough staff or what, but I would take that into consideration.

  • Great performers,Long lines, incompetent venue

by Chris on 8/21/23Rating: 3 out of 5

This was a great concert musically. Loved the bands and everything about their performance. This venue should never be allowed to host a big concert again. 2 hours to park, long lines of cars everywhere. We were at venue areas 1.5 hours before it started. Massive lines trying to get through too few gates. After an hour we get to the front only to be told we need a floor wristband and needed to get out of line and get in another for the white tent. White tent line was 25 mins long. We get our wristbands and then told to get back in original GA line to get in. What a joke. Missed the entire Alice Cooper set. No signs anywhere saying thats what needs to be done to get in. Once in we enjoyed the 2nd act Def L and ran back to floor drink line the second they finished. 50 people in every line..no problem they should move fast..nope people were allowed to push into the line from all sides and it never moved. No crowd control whatsoever. No employees doing anything. We wait in line and after 45 mins we offered someone coming out $50 cash for 1 water...Nope. we are parched at this point. M Crue starts, still in line 6 songs in we get to the front and im not exageratting we were the last people to get beer. They took so long they suspended beer sales while we were in line for an hour. The 70 people behind us in line were furious. I had 8th row floor seats and missed 6 songs from M Crue and the entire Alice Cooper set due to incompetance. This venue needs to be fired and never used again for any reason.

  • Def Lepperd Killed It!

by Steph on 8/21/23Rating: 4 out of 5

I will never attend an event again at the Sun Bowl - the most disorganized thing I have ever been to! From entry to concession to traffic. What a cluster! However, Alice Cooper and Def Lepperd absolutely killed it. Motley Crue puts on a great light show and of course I have undying love for Tommy Lee! Vince Neil needs to hang it up!

  • Nothing But Distortion!

by Gadgetman on 8/21/23Rating: 2 out of 5

Alice Cooper and Def Leppard sounded just like their recordings and put on a phenomenal show! Both appeared happy to be performing; Mötley Crüe, not so much! Their sound was distorted & immensely loud, even with earplugs. If I could have left right away, I would have. There is no logical reason why their sound should have been that loud & distorted. Mötley Crüe did not deserve our ticket money, but Alice Cooper and Def Leppard earned their ticket money and we will see them again if they continue to tour! Additionally, even though we had a full AT&T signal, we could NOT call, text or browse anywhere near the concert. We had to walk down the mountain, just to summon our Uber.

  • UTEP UNORGANIZED

by NO MAMES on 8/21/23Rating: 3 out of 5

UTEP needs to contract a company with experience in handling large concerts. Totally unorganized just to enter the stadium and no crowd control. Ushers in the stadium were not checking everyone's ticket and had to deal with people sitting in our seats and arguing with them to move over and sit in their designated seats. Traffic control was horrible. Need more officers to control traffic lights to help expedite exit from stadium. DEF LEPPARD WAS GREAT!!!!!

  • Motley Crue was awesome!

by Trey on 8/21/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Motley Crue was awesome! They put on a great show along with Def Leppord and Alice Cooper.

  • Band were awesome. Venue sucked.

by Gib on 8/21/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Both Def Leppard and Motley Crue sounded and performed great but the venue did not know what they were doing. Zero parking or anyone directing traffic and even once you parked, there was only one entrance with zero organization. We showed up two hours early but it took us three hours just to get in. Because of this we completely missed Alice Copper. Being able to get water or drinks was also an issue given the crowds and heat. Even Alice Coppers guitarist had a heat stroke. Would recommend seeing the bands but just at a better venue than El Paso UTEP.

  • Will not return.

by Sublime on 8/21/23Rating: 1 out of 5

Horrible entry, bathroom and concession lines. Show was mediocre at best.

  • Performance great, venue not so much.

by KP on 8/21/23Rating: 4 out of 5

The performance was great, lights and stage was great. Venue was not the greatest. Everything from getting in, food lines and beer lines were very unorganized. Waited over an hour in lines for food to end up getting frustrated and leaving.

  • Nostalgia

by Berna on 8/21/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Great music that I grew up with! A lot of fun! I only wished the venue didn’t allow smoking

  • Could’ve transitioned quicker

by Matt on 8/21/23Rating: 4 out of 5

Loved the rock n roll, just it didn’t feel like we needed a 45 minute wait between Alice and Def Leppard, especially with how quickly they set up the Crue after Def Leppard finished their set. The future is ours!

  • Could have been better

by Crazy Hot in LC on 8/21/23Rating: 3 out of 5

I'm really glad that this concert came to our area. However, the acoustics were terrible. You couldn't hear the singing at all. And El Paso may not be the best choice for an outdoor concert in August. The heat was stifling.
