  • Motley Crue and Def Leppard Concert

by Mari on 8/23/23Rating: 5 out of 5

The concert was awesome. All the bands did an amazing performance. I had a lot of fun. The tickets were a little bit to expensive but it was worth it. The price of the drinks and food was to expensive and they gave you a small cup of drink and very little amount of food.

  • Disappointed

by Chiris on 8/23/23Rating: 3 out of 5

We loved Alice Cooper and Def Leppard. We were disappointed with Mötley Crue. They didn’t look original with those dancers. The music they played for the girls to dance it was not what we expected. 🙁

  • Great concert

by Slick on 8/23/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Great concert but the lines to get in were not fun. The lines to get beverages were to long.

Alice Cooper and Def Leppard were great! Motley Crue could have been, but decided to turn it into a strip bar with a band!

  • Time to retire!

by Bobbyboy on 8/23/23Rating: 2 out of 5

When you have to have the speakers so loud in order to mask the music is not a recipe for success or your concert experience. The once playboys of the 80's music scene are now tired and worn out old men. Losing Mick Mars was a blow to the original sounds Motley Crue once had and worse John 5 doesn't fit nor work well as a substitute. And the excuse of not straying from Mick's once incredible guitar playing doesnt hold a candle to his Mick's guitar playing skills. And his gimmicks are ridiculous, flashing teeth and a long patent leather duster with a lit up guitar? Vince is old, fat, and lost his voice for the vocals they once had. Therefore play it louder to cover those long lost vocals of way bygone years. Time for exceptional bands like Def Leppard to part ways with the tag along bands like Motley Crue. Time to cash in and actually quit touring like they did 20 years ago. Time to retire for good. I'll save my money for a better band and a better concert experience.

  • Awesome!!!

by Tony on 8/23/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Alice Cooper put on a good show. Never really heard his songs until that day. Def Leppard was the bomb!!! Awesome performance, took me back when I was in sixth grade and first saw them. Motley Crue, the music was to loud and really couldn’t hear Vince sing. Left after third song.

  • Great show

Concert at the ballfield was great. Enjoy all three bands, I will attend future concerts at the ball park.

  • Crue and Leppard put on a great show

by RJ Sauzon on 8/22/23Rating: 4 out of 5

The triple threat of Alice Cooper, Def Leppard, and Motley Crue put on a really great show. As an event it was really solid. Def Leppard was the tightest, musically. Sounded amazing. Motley Crue’s energy is still unmatched. Alice Cooper sounded great, but unfortunately we were unable to see him since the UTEP Special events staff had us waiting in the parking lot for a good hour before allowing us to enter.

  • Awesome Show

by RC on 8/22/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Me and my friends thought Alice Cooper stole the show. His voice and band are Amazing. Def leppard was Fantastic as always. Motley Crue always puts on a great show ,but Vince’s voice is very rough Great night in El Paso once the sun went down.

  • No Parking, Seeing people getting towed.

by Shrugs on 8/22/23Rating: 1 out of 5

The fact that there was no parking available for those with disability that aren't able to walk in long distance; then on top of that there was what looked like chaos to get in. I witnessed multiple ambulances having to care for people that were not even in. My husband and I couldn't get in even with our tickets and now I'm left with nothing but what ifs and could ofs. Hope those that went in enjoyed after all though.

  • Amazing Concert

by JP on 8/22/23Rating: 5 out of 5

This was one of my favorite concerts. It was amazing. All 3 bands were AMAZING!!! Alice Cooper!! Def Leppard!!! Motley Crue!!!! I hope they come again to EL PASO!!!

  • Vince???

    by B’s on 8/22/23Rating: 4 out of 5

Missed AC due to the rain. Caught DL for the first time - very impressed with their show on all levels. MC was a bit of a let down, started great, music was on point but after a few songs Vince was not great on vocals, really mumbly. Hitting the sauce?

  • Sun Bowl Cash Only

by usbjbma on 8/22/23Rating: 3 out of 5

The Sun Bowl featured way too many cash only food & beer vendor lines.

  • Sun bowl 18th concert

by Kd on 8/22/23Rating: 2 out of 5

Event was a over whelming mess in el paso. Started way to early for the beer to be hot and then run out before motley played . If an event starts at 545 pm ....have that beer icing by 11 am ! Paying 10 bucks for nasty neer is not cool . Alos Have more staff to help people look for their sections as well as next event have separate areas for lines of all consession stands or gear purchases that way people have a path way to walk through to get to rest rooms instead of having to stand and smell everyone's funky breathe

  • Bands were awesome, not sure I'd ever go back to the venue

by DanOinLA on 8/22/23Rating: 4 out of 5

The bands were excellent. Alice Cooper gave the excellent show they always do, Def Leppard sounded great, and Motley was, well, Motley!. Plus as a bonus I got to see guitar god John 5! Downside: the venue didn't seem to be able to handle an event of this size as well as they should. Major issues: Parking, traffic, and insufficient vendors to meet the demand. It was my first time to the venue, and parking is very confusing. Took almost an hour to get parked. Some additional parking attendants and signs to assist would have been very helpful. And really, UTEP/and City of El Paso can't manage traffic any better than that? Come see how they do it in Albuquerque at the Pavilion. Not perfect, but WAY BETTER! After the show, getting back to the motel 7 miles away took over an hour. There were not enough vendors to handle the size of the crowds. Not unusual to stand in line 20-30 minutes to get a beer. On the bright side, prices weren't bad and a little better than other venues I visit regularly. Summary: Loved the bands, but not sure I'd ever go back to that venue.
