About

Motionless in White are a gothic and horror-themed metalcore band from Scranton, Pennsylvania. After forming in 2005, the group began to break out with the release of their third album, Reincarnate (2014), which charted in the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 and featured artists such as Dani Filth of Cradle of Filth and Tim Skold of Marilyn Manson and KMFDM. Lead vocalist Chris Motionless has noted drawing inspiration from bands like Slipknot, Cradle of Filth and AFI, who helped inspire the sonic soundscape of albums like Graveyard Shift (2017) and Disguise (2019), the latter of which produced the band’s first single to go gold, “Another Life.” Motionless in White have released two EPs and six studio albums, including 2022’s critically acclaimed Scoring the End of the World — embarking on sold-out tours with everyone from Korn to Slipknot.

I love this show so much. However, I do wish the interacted more with the audience. The openers talked more with the audience than the performers after :/. Best show ever with great music and fans:)

The whole experience was amazing. The bands were fantastic and master showmen! Atreyu, Black Veil Brides, and Ice Nine Kills were amazing, but Motionless in White's closeout of the show was phenomenal. Hands down, best concert I've ever been to.

  • Absolutely amazing!

by Audie on 9/23/22Azura Amphitheater - Bonner SpringsRating: 5 out of 5

Not only did they put on a fantastic performance they had a spectacular visual display to go with it. They had to stop the show 3 times due to fights and accidents in the crowd. That really shows how much they care for their fans well being. I would highly recommend seeing this show.

  • Best Concert Ever

by CBrunner on 9/20/22Family Arena - Saint CharlesRating: 5 out of 5

This is the first concert I’ve been to where I wanted to see all the bands. Usually the opening band you like after you see them live but you’re not excited to see them. This concert didn’t disappoint. Every band was fantastic and a real joy to watch. The energy was insane.

MIW has been my favorite band for many years and they never fail to put on an amazing show. Incredibly talented and engaging with the audience. They truly care about the safety and enjoyment of the fans. 6th time seeing them and still just as exciting and enjoyable as the 1st time.

  • Trinity of terror

by Hannah Jay on 9/20/22Family Arena - Saint CharlesRating: 5 out of 5

Loved the event venue with a/c. BEST LINE UP IVE SEEN IN SO LONG. Ill be dreaming of this event forever. Only clear bags and small purse wallets can go in the building. Mosh pits which was decent but the crowd surfing was a bit much hard to watch the show when all the big giant men are falling on you and girls with no underwear and skirts are being passed on top of your head. Someones going to get paralyzed one day. But thats metal concerts for you I suppose.

  • Amazing!

by Emily on 9/20/22Family Arena - Saint CharlesRating: 5 out of 5

All bands were phenomenal. But motionless In white blew me away the most. Chris’s interaction with the crowd was amazing. They all sounded great. Would go again if the opportunity was there!
