About

Motionless in White are a gothic and horror-themed metalcore band from Scranton, Pennsylvania. After forming in 2005, the group began to break out with the release of their third album, Reincarnate (2014), which charted in the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 and featured artists such as Dani Filth of Cradle of Filth and Tim Skold of Marilyn Manson and KMFDM. Lead vocalist Chris Motionless has noted drawing inspiration from bands like Slipknot, Cradle of Filth and AFI, who helped inspire the sonic soundscape of albums like Graveyard Shift (2017) and Disguise (2019), the latter of which produced the band’s first single to go gold, “Another Life.” Motionless in White have released two EPs and six studio albums, including 2022’s critically acclaimed Scoring the End of the World — embarking on sold-out tours with everyone from Korn to Slipknot.

  • Motionless In White could do no wrong

Apocalypse Fest III was one of the best shows I have ever been to. The way Motionless In White held nothing back was phenomenal. I loved every moment and that moving stage was so freaking cool. I also enjoyed finally getting to see Outlier live those guys are incredible. Holding Absence um hello amazing. Black Veil Brides was sick and damn Andy could hold a scream. The Mohegan Sun Arena PA is one of my favorite places to be. The staff are always so kind and helpful. What an Infamous night in The 570.

Great performances by Outlier, Holding Absence, Black Veil Brides, and Motionless In White! My flight was cancelled two days before the concert and I drove 12hrs from Wisconsin to Pennsylvania, it was soooo worth it! And I will do it again, I plan on being there next year!!🖤🤟🏼

  • Amazing, As Always!

by Czazmama on 5/14/25Archer Music Hall - AllentownRating: 5 out of 5

This was my 3rd time seeing Motionless; and as usual, they were amazing! This venue (Archer Music Hall) was also really neat, which made the show that much better. Add on to that the opening bands (Inimical Drive and Another Day Dawns) and this was just an all out amazing experience!

  • Kickass Show

by ShannonG on 5/13/25Archer Music Hall - AllentownRating: 5 out of 5

The show Motionless In White put on Saturday night in Allentown was awesome for how little notice the event space (Archer Music Hall) and the band had going in to this smaller venue. The Venue was beautiful, and from the time MIW hit the stage, the energy was unbelievable. Chris and the guys killed it, and they seemed to be genuinely enjoying themselves up there. Chris and Justin interacted with the crowd a lot (I swear it feels like Chris is staring into your soul when he gives you one of his mischievous smiles and comes over to sing to you) and the crowd ate ever bit of it up. It was a 14 hour round trip down from Canada for me, and I regret nothing!!!

  • Awesome!!

by Abby Goulstone on 5/13/25Archer Music Hall - AllentownRating: 5 out of 5

The venue was gorgeous! The crowd flowed perfectly with the two bars on the side. Created natural walkways. Very clean! Super great experience. Will 100% be coming back for more shows!

Motionless in white never fail to put on an amazing show. The openers were stacked and the variation in everyones sound made the night so much fun! The production value of Motionless's set is fantastic - not to mention being able to hear songs live fir the first time in 10 years made it especially special.
