About

Comprised of Ryan Guldemond (vocals, guitar), Molly Guldemond (vocals, keys), Jasmin Parkin (vocals, keys), Ali Siadat (drums) and Mike Young (bass), Mother Mother are best known for their deep connection with their fans, and for bringing stadium-sized energy to their live show, no matter the stage.  Singing about themes of alienation and enormous longing for self and societal acceptance, the band's mission is to be a home for souls that feel they don't fit in anywhere else.

Mother Mother were recently catapulted into a new stratosphere of universal success following the release of their critically acclaimed studio album INSIDE.  Their explosive follow-up to "Hayloft," "Hayloft II" connected with fans around the world and is now certified Gold in the US and approaching Platinum in their home country of Canada. A string of #1 radio hits in Canada, 6 billion global streams, and multiple Billboard chart appearances cement their newfound global success.

The quintet spent most of the last year touring the world playing to sold-out audiences in theaters to stadiums, with multiple sold-out headline tours in Europe, UK, Canada, Australia and the U.S. as well as past and upcoming festival plays at Reading + Leeds, Lollapalooza in Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Berlin, Corona Capital in Mexico, Pukkelpop Belgium, Frequency Festival in Austria, Lowlands in The Netherlands and more.

  • Love Mother Mother but not the best show

by ConcerntJenn on 12/6/21Commodore Ballroom - VancouverRating: 3 out of 5

I was disappointed that the tickets said the show started at 7 and did not say there were openers. The opening show did not come out until after 8, then Mother Mother did not start until after 9:30. It would have been nice to know that so we did not rush to be there for 7. Since Covid, there is no dancing allowed so sitting around for a few hours was not the best way to hype up a crowd. Otherwise always love to hear Mother Mother live!

  • Amazing, as always

by Frederique on 12/5/21Commodore Ballroom - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Love this band. They were on key at all times and the tunes didn't deviate much from the recorded versions. Great energy despite playing multiple shows in a row. Great set list that included some oldies and some new songs even though this was part of the "Inside" album tour. Go see them if you can!

  • Best show of all time

  • Fantastic show

by P. from the G.C. on 2/26/19LONDON MUSIC HALL - LondonRating: 5 out of 5

Mother Mother always rocks the house, and this night was no exception. Said the Whale was a perfect partner, opening the evening with a fabulous set despite having a member need emergency surgery a few days earlier. The venue was also great, with friendly staff, decent beers, and great sound. Highly recommended on all fronts!

    by Amber71 on 6/15/15Riot Room - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

This concert was amazing! It was a small space and there weren't many people. It was intimate. They played their asses off and the small crowd loved it! I will not miss the next time they are in KC.

by GrayPaige on 12/18/14Orpheum Theatre - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Mother Mother was amazing ! I have seen them twice and can hardly wait to see them again. The last time I saw them was at a Mission Secondary School BC. The sound was great. They are an incredibly talented band and we loved the way they took their older songs and changed them up. Not that there was anything wrong with the way they were before. I big thank you goes out to the Peak radio station for playing this new genre of music. If I'm not listening to the Peak in my car there is a CD playing !.All the music is so different. Thank you !

USS totally Killed IT. they could have done their own stand alone show. Mother Mother were tight but it felt like they were just calling it in. too slow after USS rocked the place.
