    Giselle died of Ennui

by razaz on 2/16/14Valley Performing Arts Center - Northridge

Horrible. The stage was too small for such a large corps so instead of cutting down the number of dancers, they cut out whole dances and the first act was mostly gesticulated story telling. We left at intermission.

Ballet was wonderful! I think the lead male role was an understudy however, maybe the lead dancer would have been a stronger dancer. Venue is great, though it did get a little stuffy in the theater in the last 15 min or so of a 2 hour performance.

    Swan Lake

by Allnicknameshavebeenused on 2/3/14Chandler Center for the Arts - Chandler

I was so impressed with the beauty and ability of those dancers. Having the story in the programme helped. My 13 year daughter went and also enjoyed it very much.

    Swan Lake

by ACSPhoenix on 2/3/14Chandler Center for the Arts - Chandler

I thought it was very well done technically and the performance was just the right length of time for my daughter and I. Even though she is 4, she did very well throughout but unless your child is very interested in ballet, ballerinas, or princesses, I would recommend it for 8 and up as suggested. Mainly because she did not know the story (unlike Nutcracker, Cinderella, or Sleeping Beauty). Stage was done well, lighting was good, and dancers were very skilled.

Moscow Ballet of Cinderella - Wonderful!

by imgtgim on 1/29/14Stephens Auditorium - Ames

Really enjoyed the Moscow Ballet performance of Cinderella, and it is hard to beat the beautiful aesthetics of C.Y. Stephens Auditorium at the Iowa State Center of Ames, Iowa . . . Go ISU! Would have liked live music, but the recording used sufficed. It was good experience for our grand-daughter, who accompanied us to the theater.

The dancers were wonderful and we truly enjoyed it. The twist on the story line of different nationalities was splendid.

    Moscow Festival Ballet

by Desireeiris on 5/26/12North Bergen Performing Arts Center - Engelwood

The performance was beautiful but...the stage was too small and there was no live orchestra. That really took away from the entire ballet. Next time I will go into New York City to see it.

by dixcpixc on 4/16/12Fox Theatre Atlanta - Atlanta

Russian interpretation was fun to watch and, as always, ballet performance was fabulous. My husband and I most enjoyed the court clown and the prince. Hope they return with a different show. Definitely a go see.

    Beautiful Ballet

by cveroleyva on 4/5/12Fox Theatre Atlanta - Atlanta

Cinderlla was beautifully told....so much so my 4 year old son stayed quiet the whole entire time. His favorite dancer was the stepmom. I wish the Moscow Festival Ballet would have performed to a full house, so many seats were empty:(. Maybe the economy? price? Regardless, I'm glad we were there to enjoy an unforgettable experience.
