    OK, but

by metzmatt on 12/6/13Mirage Hotel and Casino - Las Vegas

This year's event was an improvement over prior years in that entry was granted in priority order, rather than requiring us to camp out overnight to be first in line. The monitors should have been larger. Programs should be free, rather than $10. Refunds should be provided when you purchase tickets for a four-day event and it only runs three days. Tickets suggest specific seats, but specific seats are not provided. Your ticket in fact shows a GA number, which determines order of admission for a fi]rst-come-first-served admission.

An excellent experience, would recommend to anyone who enjoys the Europe v USA encounters in all sports, and to people who enjoy a good competitive pool competition

    fun... yet difficult to plan

by zeb83 on 12/5/13Mirage Hotel and Casino - Las Vegas

It was a fun time. Everyone was so enthusiastic about the games and the crowd got into it. A drawback I experienced was my flight was delayed and I was a day late. And the match ended a day early... will contact ticket master to see if I can still get a discount on the 284 dollars I spent on the 4 days tickets for my wife and myself. Crossing my fingers. But all in all it was a good event. Even if I spent 280 for a days worth of pool to watch.

    Mosconi Cup Review

by jawamo on 12/5/13Mirage Hotel and Casino - Las Vegas

I am very unpleased with this event. For the main fact that we purchased the package of tickets for 4 days of play and they did not even play the fourth day with no refund of the money plus we had to pay for the additional day of the hotel without having the event to go to. This is very poor business in my opinion.

The whole event was let down by the organisational skills of the Mirage Hotel. We were made to queue until ten minutes before the live event started on the first day, and we're separated by date of purchase of tickets. In terms of the actual event, the players made the tournament worth while would definitely recommend, behind the scenes organisation let the event down. Should move it back to the MGM

    Very Disappointing.

by sjm300 on 12/5/13Mirage Hotel and Casino - Las Vegas

I expected more from the Americans. They were totally outclassed and unprepared for the Europeans. They played badly two years ago and worse this year. I paid for four days and got only 2-1/2 days. I lost money on my tickets and the hotel. I bought tickets very early expecting to get better seats. People who bought much later had tickets that let them enter before me. Just another reason to skip this event until the Americans can become more competitive.

By far the best live Pool Tournament experience in the US. Never been to Europe but may go there for the next Mosconi Cup.
