It was absolutely great! Would love to hear them again at Bethel Woods!
Would recommend that everyone see the Mormon Tabernacle Choir at least once in their life!!
Although the weather was absolutely miserable, the concert was as good as I hoped and expected it to be. The choir and orchestra were definitely worth seeing. A once in a lifetime MUST SEE event. The facility was a perfect place, if the weather had been decent.
This was the best show of the century--you can not get any better than the Mormon Tabernacle Choir LIVE--I am not that big of a fan really, and certainly do not choose to listen to The Choir on a regular basis--in fact, I do not own that many of their CDs. Don't get me wrong, they are good, just not what I typically pick as my listening choice throughout the day, until NOW--Listening to them live is about a 1000 times better!
Never thought it would have have been so entertaining,
It was a wonderful evening. We clapped, sang along, cried, and laughed It was very enjoyable for all.
My wife and I were quite moved...the beauty and sound were soul up lifting. There was little if any conversation during the program. I was deeply moved by the performance...made one look inside oneself and commincate with one's maker.
It is a rare opportunity to see the MTC in our area (only 3 performance in last 49 years). If you are in a similar scenario and they are coming to a venue near you and you cannot decide whether to go, my advice would be to go.
An awesome mixture of inspiring, entertaining, music. The choir and orchestra perfectly complement each other. And then there's the choir doing the "wave" as they clap, and the soloist boogeying, and, and, and! Prepare to have your preconceptions all messed up.
Amazing! Very polished. Pieces were professionally performed whether easier or more complicated. Wide mix of genres. Only complaint was that the orchestra tended to overpower the choir sometimes.
I expected it to be a good concert, after all it was the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, but it was way beyond good. Every time they did a number it was better than the one before. Awesome and great don't do the performance justice.
awesome songs, acoustics at Theatre could have been alot better though..the best combination of great songs of tradition, ones that made me feel lucky to be an American, and a little religion...a great combo in this country right now that unfortunatley we don't see enough
WE REALLY ENJOYED THE SHOW. THE BAND AND THE SINGERS WERE AMAZING IT WAS VERY PEACEFUL AND RELAXING. THE SINGING WAS REALLY SMOOTH. I WOULD RECOMMEND SEEING.
Purchased tickets in Oct. and couldn't wait. Traveled 380 miles 1 way for this event. Worth every penny. Attended with 4 generations represented. A dream come true.
Great show! The choir and orchestra are incredible!
It was breath taking - just awesome! I would love to watch it all over again.
Absolutely wonderful! Would definitely go again to see.
What a wonderful presentation of an assorted genre of music. The Mormon Tabernacle Choir presented early mormon pioneer music, black folk hymns, classic and show tunes at their best! What a wonderful evening at Nationwide Arena! Thankfully I was was finally given my first opportunity to see this amazing world renown choir in person. Loved everything about this experience.
The Choir is indeed the world's choir. The way that Mr. Newell associated Indianapolis as the Crossroads of America and Salt Lake City as the Crossroads of the West brought a closeness to the audience and the Choir. Kudos to all involved.
A beautiful evening of music in Indianapolis. This choir is magnificent! The harmony, the blend, the sound, the choreography, the spirit are all in abundance with their presentation. I travelled to Indianapolis from Chicago because I was not available for their Chicago performance. God bless the Mormon Tabernacle Choir!
